Sasuke's pov:

Just when I thought I'd finally get a break, I'm out here getting an earful from my father about how disappointed he is in me over the incident.

I stood there about to yell when Sakura did it for me.

"Mr Uchiha remember me?"

"Oh Sakura?!"

"Yes, but let's skip the pleasantries" "You are a selfish man!" "Can't you see you're hurting him and have you even tried listening to his side of the story?!"

He was rendered speechless. "But I was only doing it for his own good-"

We both snorted. "Definitely not" we unanimously said.

My dad now has a look of guilt as he apologizes. I could only explain it with a grim smile.

I was happy, but I didn't forgive him just yet.

When dad left I hugged Sakura and in the process kissed her, leaving her confused and awkward.

I hurriedly apologized.

When things settled down we decided to  compete like old times sake. To my surprise we tied.

"Looks like someone improved"

She smirked. "Well yeah" "I wanted to catch up to you sasuke-kun"

I couldn't help but blush.

She hesitated for what looked like a few seconds then grabbed the collar of my shirt and kissed me.

I admit I enjoyed it.

"Thanks babe"

"You're welcome" she replied.
