Akamatsu played out the last few notes as the song came to an end, Sayaka vocalizing softly before coming to a stop. As soon as it was over, the band's partners stood and clapped for their girlfriends, each one's face turning into a red mess.

"That's my girl, she's the best!" Ouma hollered, clapping the loudest of the other two partners. Shoma just sighed and shook their head, clearly annoyed by the younger boy's loudness. "Yeah, Ouma, we know Kaede's keyboard is good, but all of them together makes the band what it is." "Yeah, but my girl's still the best."

Shuichi rolled his eyes and looked over at his own girlfriend, who was speaking to Mioda on something quietly. She seemed to notice his staring and turned, giving him her signature smile, making him blush and pull his hat down as he averted his eyes.

"That should be a wrap for today. Same time tomorrow?" Sayaka asked as she put the microphone back on the mic stand, taking the bow of her uniform out of her hair. "Yup, a few more rehearsals and Smokey Quartz Girls will be ready for their spring shows!" Mioda exclaimed excitedly, striking her guitar and almost blowing everyone's ears out, except for maybe Shoma's.

"That's great, very great. Ibuki, we need to get going if we want to hurry and meet Nanami and Nevermind for dinner." "Yeah yeah, ya big lug!" The musician set her guitar on its stand and went over to her partner, giving them a big kiss on their cheek. "Let Ibuki change and she'll be right out!"

Mioda walked out of the clubroom with Sayaka and Akamatsu in tow, leaving the two boys and Shoma by themselves. They sat there in silence as they waited for their girlfriends to get back.

Sayaka was the first, much to Shuichi's pleasure. He said a quiet goodbye to Shoma and Ouma as he grabbed his bag and hurried to the door, grabbing the bluenette's hand and walking out with her.

It was silent as the two made their way out the school gates to the subway. While Sayaka lived on campus in the dorms, the duo would frequently leave and visit the nearby cafe before heading to Shuichi's place for more privacy. Not because they did anything, but because Sayaka's roommate, Kirigiri, would get annoyed at their love bird act. So now they just went to the Saihara household to do their homework and other lovey couple things.

After a stop at Amika's and a few subway stops, the blue-haired couple made it to their stop and made the short walk home from the station.

Once in the house and their shoes off, they made their way upstairs to Shuichi's bedroom with their bags and threw them on the bed, Shuichi throwing himself on it with his bag. The male made grabby hands as he corrected himself to lay on the bed, his hat having fallen off from the jump to reveal his big, golden eyes.

"Shuichi, you know we have homework. You need to finish your project for the upcoming exams." The boy whined and dropped his arms, turning his back to her as he curled on his bed. His girlfriend sighed and went over to him, reaching her hand out to him. "Shuichi, I know you don't want to, but-"

As soon as her hand touched his shoulder, the boy quickly turned and grabbed her arm, pulling her towards him. She gave a small squeak as she fell into his chest, his arm quickly wrapping around her, thus trapping her.

"Shuichiiii, come on!" "But cuddlllles!" Sayaka whined and kept wiggling, but eventually gave up. When she did, she couldn't help but feel his warmth. When she laid her head on his chest, she could hear his heart beating softly. The female began to slowly relax and, once she did, Shuichi loosened his arms a little.

Once he did, she carefully wrapped her own arms around his torso, getting sleepy all of a sudden. Rehearsal must've taken it out of her, as it always did.

Sayaka heard his heartbeat slowing down, indicating he was getting sleepy too. With a small huff, she muttered, "I guess a small nap with cuddles won't hurt...but we're doing homework when we're done." Shuichi just hummed and curled up as much as he could, slowly falling asleep. All the bluenette could do was sigh and curl up as well, following suit to the world of sleep.

The smell of ham and eggs filled the room, waking up the blue-haired couple from their slumber. Shuichi gave a big yawn and rolled onto his back, stretching his arms and letting Sayaka breathe. The female groaned and opened her eyes, noticing the reddish-orange hue that spilled in from the window.

Her eyes widened and she quickly sat up, grabbing her phone and looking at the time. It was already 8:15, meaning they had slept for almost 3 hours. The pop singer groaned more and tossed her phone back on the bedside table, laying back on the bed. "Goddamn it, Shushu, we overslept. I knew I should have set an alarm."

A warm hand gently put itself on top of Sayaka's, making her look up into his golden eyes, making her own soften. "I'm sorry, angel. I was tired and I could tell you were too. I just wanted you to relax."

Oh, she couldn't stay mad at him for long, not with those adorable, puppy eyes that were still a little sleepy. She smiled softly and took his hand in his, squeezing it. "I get it. It was a really nice nap for only being 3 hours. We'll just have to finish our work tonight."

"MAIZONO, SHUICHI, DINNER!" It was then that Sayaka's stomach growled, making her blush and realize she skipped lunch today. Shuichi gave a small chuckle and sat up on the bed, getting to his feet and putting his hand out. "Shall we?"

The bluenette smiled and took his hand, pulling herself up with her boyfriend's help and holding his hand tightly. "We shall."

Shuichi gave Sayaka a quick kiss on the cheek, as well as a nuzzle, before gently pulling her to the door to get some dinner.

Hopefully they can think better with full stomachs.
