Yugo's POV

"Nrgg...Where am I?" I ask as I start to wake up. I look at my surroundings, between two buildings and a couple of trash cans, and realize I'm in an alleyway. "Great..." I say sarcastically. I get up, dust myself off, and begin to walk out of the alleyway. "I wonder where Rin is." I think to myself, only to be pulled out of my thoughts by a ray of sun in my eyes. When my eyes adjusted, I was amazed at what I saw: I was in a city with tall buildings and a roadway with a sidewalk. "Wow, this is definitely not New Domino City." I said to myself, then I realized something. "Wait a minute, from what that voice said, this must be Tokyo, Japan." I say to myself. "I gotta find Rin." I then start walking around, checking things out.

30 Minutes Later

I've been wandering around for at least 30 minutes, but still no sign of Rin. "Where are you Rin?" I think to myself. I snap out of my thoughts as I run into the side of a building. I take a minute to recover my bearing, only to see a poster called, "Sailor V" in Japanese writing on it.

As I stare at the poster, I begin to realize something. "Maybe if I find Sailor V, she can help me find Rin." I take the poster off the building and put it in my left pocket. I then walk up to the front of the building to see that it is an arcade. "An arcade, Cool!" I exclaimed. I walk into the arcade and look at the video games that are there until I see a crowd around what looked to be a racing game. "Hmm, I wonder what's going on over there." I say to myself. I walk over there to see that there is a girl playing the racing game. The girl looked to be about 14 years old, with blonde hair with a big red bow in it, and blue eyes. She was wearing what looks to be a school uniform which consisted of a white blouse with a sailor neckerchief, a red scarf, a blue skirt, white socks, and black shoes.

5 Minutes Later

As the girl finished the race, the crowd cheered and then disbursed, I walked up to her and said, "Wow, that was awesome! You really know how to race." She looked surprised at me then calmed down and said, "Why thank you, umm..." I realized she didn't know my name, so I replied, "Yugo." She smiles and says, "Hello Yugo, my name is Minako Aino." Suddenly, I heard a loud "Roar!!!" followed by people yelling and screaming. I race outside to see a large turquoise lion with a light pink mane and tail. It also had large red eyes and tufts of light pink fur on the heels of each paw.

"WHAT IS A LION DOING IN THE MIDDLE OF A CITY!!" I yell. Then I see Minako run towards an alleyway and I yell, "Wait for me, Minako!" I run after her until I get to the corner of the alley and stop to see her holding up a pen and shouting, "Venus Power, Make Up!"

Then a bright light shines and after it is over, I look at her, only for my jaw to drop. Minako is wearing the same outfit that Sailor V was wearing in the poster, she is Sailor V! As I was about to go to her, my right pocket began to glow. I look through my right pocket and pull out a ​​synchro card I don't remember having in my deck. It had a picture of a sun and moon with a lightning bolt in the middle. The card said, "Volt Drive!", on the top. On the bottom, it said, "I am the duelist of lightning and speed, who fights for determination and loyalty! I am Duelist Volt! Yield, or be electrocuted!"

"What am I supposed to do with this card?" I think to myself. "Hold up your card and say Volt drive!" A voice suddenly says. I froze and realized that that voice was the one Yuto, Lulu, Rin and I heard before we all got thrown into those portals. "Why should I?!" I angrily asked. "Let's say it will help you with your mission." The voice replied back. I think about it for a moment and say, "Fine! Volt Drive!" Then suddenly, my whole body is engulfed in lightning and the next thing I know, I'm wearing a white futuristic outfit that has glowing aqua-green stripes on my arms, legs, and chest.

"Ok, I could get used to this!" I say with excitement. "Umm..." I turn and look at Minako, who is in shock. "I Guess you're not the only superhero here now." I say nervously while rubbing the back of my head.

Minako's POV

"I can't believe he knows my identity now." I think to myself. I suddenly hear, "Mina!" I look up to see Artemis on the roof above us. "Uh Artemis, now's really not the time to speak." I say nervously. Artemis jumps down and gets in front of Yugo and tells him, "Hello, Duelist Volt. My name is Artemis, and before you freak out that I'm talking in human speech, I promise to explain everything once we get to Mina's house after facing this monster." Yugo looks at Artemis like he asked him to take a taxi to the moon, but he just shakes his head and says, "O...k." and turns around and heads toward the area where the monster is. I turn to Artemis in anger and say, "Next time, wait till the issue has been taken care of before talking to someone in English!"
Then I follow Yugo only to see him generate large volts of lighting and I hear him shout, "THUNDERBOLT!". The volts of lightning shoot up into the sky and come down hard on the monster creating a huge explosion. When the smoke cleared, I saw the monster lying on the ground turning to dust.
I then gently tap Yugo on the shoulder and whisper, "My house, now!" Then I grab him by the arm and take him to my house, All the while, hiding us from the public eye and keeping him quiet.

20 Minutes Later

We finally make it to my house and I push him in and slam the door. I then turn and look at him and say, "Ok, how did you do that?" He looks at me panicked and says, "I don't know. I only did what the mysterious voice told me to do!" Me and Artemis raise our eyebrows. "What mysterious voice?" I ask. He starts waving his arms frantically and says, "The voice that sent Me, Rin, Yuto, and Lulu to this world!" He quickly covers his mouth, obviously knowing that he let something slip. "Sent to this world? Does that mean you and three other people are from another world?" I say while trying to process this new information. He shakes his head indicating, "Yes." Then Artemis came in and asked, "When did you guys get to this world?" "Today honestly. I woke up in an alleyway and walked around and somehow or other, I ended up at the arcade." Yugo said, and continued, "I was trying to find my best friend, Rin. Then I saw a Sailor V poster and got the idea that if I find Sailor V, she could help me find Rin and the others." Yugo finished. I suddenly feel bad about my attitude towards him. "He must really care about his friends." I thought to myself. Me and Artemis look at each other and silently understand what we need to do. I look at Yugo and smile. "I'm sorry a was harsh to you. I just need to keep my identity a secret from common people. My friends and I aren't average people either." I explained. Yugo looks at me questioningly. "You are? What do you me?" I smile and just reply, "I'll tell you later. For now, would you like to stay at my place?" He looks shocked at me. "Are you sure?" I smile. "Yea. Since you just got here today, you probably don't have a place to stay. We'll get you in school too. Who knows, maybe your friends will be there too." I say happily. Yugo thinks about it for a moment then smiles and says, "Sure." After that, we spend the rest of the day getting Yugo's room prepared.
