Act 1

Third POV

It's a sunny morning in Tokyo, Japan. People are waking up and going to school and work. Unfortunately, not everyone wakes up on time, for there is a certain blond-haired, blue-eyed girl still sleeping in her room. The girl continues to sleep until a ray of light hits her eyes. She wakes up, sits up slowly, and looks around her room until her eyes land on her clock, "9:30 am. "AAAAAHHHHHHH! I'M LATE FOR SCHOOL AGAIN!!!!" She exclaims. She bolts out of bed and gets ready as fast as possible before racing down the stairs where her family has already finished breakfast in the kitchen. Her mom, Ikuko Tsukino notices her and smiles. "Good Morning Usagi." she greets. Usagi looked at her mother in a panic. "Mom, why didn't you wake me up?! Now I'm late for school again!" Usagi said in a panic. Ikuko sighed and said sternly, "That's what happens when you stay up late reading manga." while her husband, Kenji Tsukino was reading the local newspaper. He looks up from his newspaper and smiles, "Come on honey, don't be so hard on her. Have a good day dear." he says as Usagi runs out the door.

Usagi's POV

"Oh man, I'm late again!" I think as I run down the street. "I'm sure Makoto, and Minako are going to tease me about being late ag-Whhoooooooo" I yelp as I feel my foot snag on something and I fall flat on my face. I look up to yell at whatever I tripped over but froze when I see that I tripped on a person, a girl, laying on the ground. "Oh no, what do I do, I should probably check to see if she's alright." I panicked. I go over to the girl to check to see if she's alright. When I get to her I'm amazed by her appearance. She's a girl that looks to be about my age with long dark purple hair which extends past her lower back but is tied up in a bow-shaped style and has shorter, lilac side tails with a wing-shaped barrette on the right side of her head. She also is wearing large, feather earrings with a single-banded bracelet with a wing-shaped design framing a yellow, diamond-shaped jewel. She's wearing a yellow and white, knee-length dress with white shoes. "She's so pretty." I say to myself, but then I remember what I was doing and gently shake her. "Excuse me miss, are you alright." I ask gently as I shake her. She groans and begins to move. I watch her as she opens her eyes and see that she has pink eyes. She looks at me with a questioning look, "Who...are...you" she manages to say. I smile at her kindly and tell her my name. "My name is Usagi Tsukino. Are you ok, miss?" I ask as she tries to get up, but immediately she falls. I catch her before she hits the ground. "Thank you" She weakly says. I think for a minute, "School can wait. I need to help this girl. But the nearest hospital is a ways down from here." I make up my mind and help her up and wrap her right arm around my shoulder and start walking home. She started to walk, but I felt that she was getting scared and she asked with a hint of fear in her voice, "Where...are you...taking...me?" I look at her and smile, "My house. Don't worry, My family and I are nice. We'll help you." I say. She smiles and says, "Thank you Usagi, my name is Lulu Obsidian." "That's a really pretty name." I say as we make our way to my house.

15 minutes later

We finally made it to the house. Lulu and I limp to the front door and ring the doorbell. "Mom, open up. It's an emergency!" I exclaim. After a few seconds, I hear Mom coming to the door sighing while she opens the door. "Usagi wha-" Mom stopped mid-sentence when she saw me carrying Lulu. Mom was about to say something when I answered, "I accidentally tripped over her while going to school. She's alive, but she needs help so I brought her home because it's the closest place to where I found her." I say with tears in my eyes. Mom just nodded and said, "Put her on the couch. You're not going to school today." Mom goes back inside and I carry Lulu to the living room couch and see Mom help me put Lulu on the couch. Dad and my younger brother, Shingo come into what's going on. "Honey, who's this girl?" Dad asks. Shingo looked at me weirdly and said, "Usagi's now bringing random girls into our house." Mom came back with a pillow and some blankets and explained the situation to Dad and Shingo and they agreed to help. After we got Lulu settled she came up to me and said, "Stay here with her and wait till she wakes up. When she does, come and get us." I nod and Mom, Dad, and Shingo leave. I sit down on the floor in front of the couch. Man, I hope she wakes up.

3 hours later

"It's been 3 hours and she still hasn't woken up yet." I start to pace around the room, and just when I was about to go get Mom to take her to the hospital, I hear her start to wake up and rush to her side and say, "Hey, are you ok?"

Lulu's POV

I opened my eyes to see the girl who was carrying me to what she said was her house. She looks at me with a kind smile and says, "Hey, are you ok?" I sit up to look at my surroundings and that I am in what I think is this girl's house. I look down to find myself on a couch. As I got my bearings, the girl with long blonde hair that she seems to wear in a double bun called out, "Mom, Dad, Shingo, she's awake." A few seconds later, A woman with dark blue hair in a yellow and orange dress with a white apron comes in, along with a man wearing a business suit and large, square-framed glasses and a boy who looks to be around 10-12 years old with short, dirty blonde hair, green eyes, and a yellow-green sweater with blue jeans. "You're awake, that's good news." the woman exclaimed happily. "Where am I?" I ask. "You're in our house, Usagi brought you here and explained that she found you on the sidewalk." The man said with a smile. I looked at the blond girl named Usagi and smiled, "Thank you." I said to her, "No problem, someone as pretty as you shouldn't be left on the streets like that." I blushed at what she said until the woman cleared her throat. "What's your name miss, do you have anywhere you need to be?" I say, "My name is Lulu Obsidian, and no. I don't have a home to go to, unfortunately." A sad look crosses their faces until the man says, "Well if it's not too much trouble, would you like to live with us? We don't mind." I looked at them with shock. "Really, I can live here?" "Sure!" they say in unison. I smile and think, "I may have lost everything, but now, I can start over."
