On the following day, Lily was in the locker room, changing into her swim suite, thinking about something.

I know that I need these exercises for my back. Lily thought. But why can't I be part of it?

In the Crystal Palace, King Endymion and Neo Queen Serenity discuss with the Sailor Guardians of the Gems. "Okay," King Endymion spoke. "Since there is a new enemy or something that cannot be explained. So, we are putting you into training right away."

"That's right," Neo Queen Serenity nodded. "Since you are the next knights of Earth, we will ensure that you are trained well to protect Moonflower and Small Lady as best as you can."

"Along with the Sailor Guardians and the Knights to protect Crystal Tokyo," King Endymion added.

"Does that mean I could be in training too, Mama, Papa?" Lily asked.

"I'm afraid not, Moonflower." Neo Queen Serenity replied. "Not at this moment."

"Why not?" Lily asked in dismay.

"You are not ready," King Endymion replied. "Not just yet."

"We are training your friends right now," Neo Queen Serenity answered. "We have not yet made plans to train you, because we are still working the plans for you to be in training. But not just yet, at this moment."

"I see," Lily sighed sadly.

"Until then," King Endymion spoke. "You still must do your exercises for your back. We have scheduled two of the six guardians to escort your swimming lessons and do the switch when you get to yoga lessons."

"Sounds like a plan," Lily sadly nodded. In slow understanding, King Endymion and Neo Queen Serenity tried to comfort her.

"I know it is not much, but it is the most we could do," Neo Queen Serenity reassures her. "I hope that you understand."

"I know," Lily nodded.

Lily sighed sadly. I just wished that I could do more than I have been. Lily thought.

"Big Sister," a familiar voice spoke. Lily turned, seeing Chibi Usa standing and too is wearing her swimsuit.

"Taylor and May are waiting for us," Chibi Usa spoke calmly.

"Oh, right. Sorry." Lily smiled nervously. Slowly, both sisters headed out of the changing room.

In the indoor pool of the YMCA, Taylor and May were waiting for Chibi Usa and Lily.

"Sorry to keep you waiting girls." A familiar voice spoke. The girls turned, seeing their friends are now ready.

"Not a problem kid," Taylor smiled.

"Are you ready for one of your stretching lessons?" May asked.

"A little," Lily shrugged.

"I can't wait to swim too," Chibi Usa smiled happily.

"Well, if you like to swim," a Russian accent voice spoke to them. "You can also learn how to stretch at the same time while you relax." The group turned, seeing a beautiful woman that is wearing an icy blue, two-piece swimsuit. She has long wavy hair, and her skin is slightly pale, but her body is well built and her eyes are strong blue as the Arctic sky of the night. Around her neck held a gem, a sapphire gem to match well with her swimsuit.

"Is one of you Lily Chiba?"

"Yes, that's me," Lily replied.

"My name is Odette," the young woman spoke. "I'm your instructor for your swimming therapy."

"Odette," Lily echoed. "You mean thee Odette Blews, the swimming champion of Moscow, Russia. The one who can easily swim in icy waters and rise from the beneath like a swan itself?"

"Well, I do not know about that last part but the rest. That is true," Odette nodded.

"Oh wow," May exclaimed.

"How did a swim champ like you end up here?" Taylor asked. "In Crystal Tokyo, I mean."

"I moved out of Russia just a few days ago," Odette answered. I accepted to transfer school here to have a normal life. To settle down and relax from all the swimming competitions."

"Then why become a swimming instructor?" Chibi Usa asked.

"To earn scholarships," Odette answered. "And I also work as a part-timer here to earn a living. To pay the bills, of course."

"That's a very good choice," Lily smiled.

"Thank you," Odette smiled. "Is your friends joining us for the lessons as well?"

"Yes, we are." Taylor and May replied.

"I'm here for swimming," Chibi Usa replied. "But I can also try a few, just in case for emergencies."

"I'm glad," Odette carefully put her hair up.

"Now, let's go to the 3 or 4 foot. We could start there." Odette offered.

"Sure," the girls nodded.

As the girls enter the cool water, Odette begins to wonder. "So, what is the reason for these stretching lessons, Miss Chiba-chan?" Odette asked.

"I got into an accident a while back," Lily answered.

"And ended up with a nasty cut that has become a scar on her back too," Taylor added.

"How did that happen?" Odette asked.

"It's kind of a long story," Lily answered. Feeling nervous, Lily tried to keep her journey to the past and her identity a secret. Odette suddenly can see how nervous and uncomfortable Lily has become.

Odette sighed. "I won't pressure you for not telling me," Odette spoke. "Maybe another time when you get comfortable, you will earn my trust to do so."

Taylor lightly chuckled. This girl got the same words from my mouth. Taylor smiled in thought. Now there is a new level of respect for her.

"Okay, and thank you, Odette." Lily nodded in relief.

"Anytime," Odette smiled. "Now, come. Let us get started." As the girls were going to enter the indoor pool, suddenly a strange flower seed floated into the indoor pool. Floating around until it landed on the water surface. Suddenly, it slowly dissolves as it combines itself with the water. "Okay," Odette smiled. "Let's start..." Before she could finish, Odette suddenly felt the water temperature change.

"Brrr...is it me or did the water just get cold all of the sudden?" Chibi Usa asked as she was shivering.

"Now that you have mentioned it," Taylor spoke. "It sure did. Wonder when..." Suddenly, the water has started to glow.

"I got a bad feeling about this," Lily spoke.

"Everyone, out of the pool," Odette spoke. "Go, go, go!" As everyone is getting out of the pool. Suddenly, the water has begun to rise. Everyone started to panic as they hurried out of the pool area.

"Mmmm...Flowery!" A figure cried out as it came out of the water.

"Oh, great!" Taylor growled.

"Here we go again," May mutter.

"What is that thing?" Chibi Usa asked.

"I have no idea," Lily answered as her back muscles started to ache.

"I got you," Odette held onto her.

"Thank you," Lily smiled.

"FLOWERY!" the mysterious figure has started to attack.

"Lily, Odette," Taylor cried out. "Look out!"

"Uh?" Odette looks up as she sees an attack coming. Odette quickly pushed Lily away. In a blink of an eye, Odette has been pushed back into the pool.

"Odette!" Lily cried out in shock.

"Oh, now that you have done it!" Taylor growled.

"Girls, the coast is clear." May called out. "It's just us now."

"Right," Lily nodded. "Let's transform. EARTH ROSE-CRYSTAL POWER!"

"TOPAZ SWORD POWER!" Taylor cried out.

"ZOISITE SWORD POWER!" May cried out.

"PINK MOON PRISM POWER!" Chibi Usa cried out.

"MAKE UP!" the girls cried out together.

{LILY'S TRANSFORMATION DESCRIPTION}

Lily held up the brooch as its lid opened, revealing a golden crystal within the center. As Lily waved her hand, the crystal sparkled with the hint of stardust then her fingernails turned light green and brown. Suddenly, the brooch began to float in mid-air; above Lily's head while it was suspended between her hands then she drew her hands down until the brooch is in front of her torso, where it has turned and affixed to her chest. Lily began to spin a few times before a pair of light golden wings then appeared on her back. Suddenly, her body was enveloped with a glow that turned into a leotard with the brown bow in the center along with the brooch clipped onto the bow. Suddenly, a light green collar appeared with three brown stripes. Suddenly, her wings vanished as Lily raised her arms the green and brown ribbons wrapped around them. Turning them into a pair of middle-lower arm-length white gloves trimmed in light green and brown piping. Suddenly, the green and brown ribbons began to wrap around Lily's legs and turned into a pair of green calf-high boots trimmed in brown that had a golden Earth symbol on top of them. Suddenly, a pair of dangling stars with Earth symbol earrings appeared on each of her ears. Suddenly, a green and red skirt appeared around Lily's waist with a light brown bow on the back. Suddenly, a small light green gem started to glow on top of Lily's forehead before turning into a silver tiara with a light brown gem right next to it. The tiara has some new details to it that is slightly bronze color as the gem is surrounded with floral designs. Suddenly, a green with brown stripe choker appeared with a bright green jewel attached to it. Suddenly, Lily's ribbons glowed as her hairstyle remained until feather-shaped hairpins were attached to her ribbon. Lily smiled as she spun around and struck a pose in front of an image of Earth and the Moon with a moonflower and rose in the background.

{MAY'S TRANSFORMATION DESCRIPTION}

The young girl pulled out a nail file from its case and thrust her fingers upon its blade. Turning her nails to pink and yellow a sudden bright light enveloped her surroundings. Her body is encased with a crystal sphere, suddenly it has turned into a flower. Suddenly, it opened as her body glowed into the water. The flower petals dance around the water as if it is ribbons themselves. For instance, the petals and water ribbons surrounded her body and started to wrap around her torso and midsection. Suddenly, a white leotard with a pink bow in the center and a yellow brooch is clipped onto it. Suddenly, the nail file slides into the brooch to keep it stable on the bow. The yellow collar with three pink stripes appeared. May crosses her arms; then the petals and water ribbons wrap around her arm-length white gloves trimmed with yellow and pink. Then the pink petals and water ribbons wrapped around her legs. Suddenly, a pair of yellow high heels with pink designs and a yellowish-pink dot on the toe. Suddenly, a pair of yellow and pink star earrings appeared on each of her ears. Within a flash from the pink petals and water ribbon, a yellow skirt appears that is around May's waist with a pink bow on the back. Within a few flashes, a yellow choker with a pink stripe with a small gem appeared. Onto May's forehead, a small gem began to glow to a bright pink as a silver tiara formed with bronze details. In the middle of the tiara, a pink rose holds a yellow gem in the middle. May smiled as she spun around and struck a pose in front of an image of zoisite stone with pink roses in the background.

Suddenly, a pair of orange and light blue star earrings appeared on each of her ears. Within a flash from the stardust and firry feather ribbon, an orange skirt appears that is around Taylor's waist with a light blue bow on the back. Within a few flashes, an orange choker with a light blue stripe and a small gem appeared. Onto Taylor's forehead, a small gem began to glow to bright orange as a silver tiara formed with bronze details. In the middle of the tiara, an orange rose holds a light blue gem in the middle. Taylor smiled as she winked. She spun around and struck a pose in front of an image of topaz stone with orange roses in the background.

Once the group transformed, the creature blinked in shock. "FLOWERY?" the figure turned to the girls as the lights turned dim.

"How dare you interrupt our pool time," Sailor Chibi Moon cried.

"And you will pay the price for hurting our new friend," Sailor Earth added.

"Who are you?" the figure asked.

"I am a pretty guardian," Sailor Earth began. "Who fights for love and Sanctuary. I am Sailor Earth! In the name of the future Earth, I will fossilize you!"

"I am a pretty guardian," Sailor Zoisite began. "Who fights for love and goodness. I am Sailor Zoisite! In the name of the sacred gems, I will blast your eyes out with the shining blaze."

"I am a pretty guardian," Sailor Topaz began. "Who fights for love and loyalty. I am Sailor Topaz! In the name of the sacred gems, I will burn you with the wings of furry."

"I am a pretty guardian trainee," Sailor Chibi Moon began. "Who fights for love and justice, I am Sailor Chibi Moon! And now in the name of the future moon, I will punish you!"

"Flowery is not happy," the figure called itself Flowery growled. "Flowery will not allow you to be in the way!"

"Zoisite," Sailor Earth called out. "Go save Odette, she may be an athlete but she can't hold her breath for that long of time."

"Got it," Sailor Zoisite nodded as Sailor Zoisite was about to jump into the water. Suddenly, Sailor Chibi Moon noticed something.

"Zoisite wait!" Sailor Chibi Moon called out before Sailor Zoisite was about to stop.

"FLOWERY!" Flowery attacks Sailor Zoisite by pushing her to the pool.

"Zoisite!" Sailor Earth, Sailor Topaz, and Sailor Chibi Moon cried in horror. Within a blink of an eye, Sailor Zoisite landed on the surface that was supposed to be water. "Huh?" the three blinked.

"Flowery?" Flowery blinked.

Sailor Zoisite groaned in pain and tapped the surface as she rolled over. "Ice?" Sailor Zoisite blinked.

"Ice?" Sailor Topaz spoke. "When did that...?"

"FLOWERY!" Flowery attacks again.

"Uh!" Sailor Zoisite jumped away from the attack. In the blink of an eye, a pair of ice skates appear beneath her shoes. Allowing her to ice skate along the smooth surface ice/pool. "Now we're talking." Sailor Zoisite smiled.

"Okay, new plan." Sailor Earth spoke. "Topaz, help Zoisite get the ice to break and get Odette out of there." Sailor Earth spoke. "Chibi Moon and I will distract Flowery. If miss an attack, dodge or attack the best you can while getting the ice to break."

"You got it," Sailor Topaz nodded.

"Good luck," Sailor Chibi Moon spoke.

"You too," Sailor Topaz went to help Sailor Zoisite.

"Let's got Chibi Moon," Sailor Earth smiled.

"Right behind you," Sailor Chibi Moon smiled. "MOON TIARA BOOMBERANG!" Sailor Chibi Moon tossed her new attack.

"EARTH MOONFLOWER SONIC RAY!" Sailor Earth launched her attack.

"FLOWERY!" Flowery continued attacking.

While Sailor Earth and Sailor Chibi Moon are fighting against Flowery. Sailor Topaz and Sailor Zoisite are skating towards the location where Odette has fallen into the water before it has turned to ice. "Let's try with my heat along with your sword," Sailor Topaz suggested

"That might help," Sailor Zoisite nodded as she summoned her sword.

"Let's do it," SailorTopaz kneeled. "TOPAZ FIERY THUNDER PUNCH!" Sailor Topaz conquered both heatand thunder in one. With one punch, that heat slowly melted the ice. SailorTopaz moved her hand and allowed Sailor Zoisite to dig with her sword. Thenthey both began to repeat.

During the digging and the battle, Odette was floating down. She can feel the water surrounding her and the cold is stable for her to handle. However, her breathing remains normal instead of drowning. How? Odette wondered. How am I able to breathe in the water?

"Mikrós Kýknos, rise up." The man's voice spoke.

"Uh?" Odette looks up. Seeing a man in strange armor standing above her. Slowly, Odette rose as she still floating.

"Who are you?" Odette asked.

"Someone willing to help for your path," the man answered.

"Path?" Odette echoed. "Path for what?" Suddenly, she heard sounds from above her. Odette looks up, seeing familiar faces. Odette is now seeing two people that are digging and trying to get Odette out. On the far left, she sees two more figures fighting against something that seems to be dangerous. "Lily, Chibi Usa, Taylor, May?" Odette called out in shock.

"They can't hear you," the man spoke. "This ice is thick, due to your pendant and special powers that you have."

"Powers?" Odette jumped. "Powers as in what?"

"As a guardian," the man spoke. "But you do have a choice. A path of a normal life or a choice to awaken."

"What? Why would you want to make me a choice?" Odette almost lost a train of thought. "I don't understand."

"You will if you choose," the armored man spoke.

"Are you kidding me?" Odette asked, "How can I choose when people need help?"

"Well then," the armored guy got into a position unfamiliar to her. "Let's see if you will be awakened or not."

"What?" Odette jumped. Within the blink of an eye, the armored vehicle hit Odette in the abdomen and sent her flying. Once Odette hit hard on her back, she coughed in pain and tried to get up.

"Get up," the armored man ordered. "Your test is not done yet."

"My test?" Odette coughed.

"Your test is to be either awakened or to make a choice of normal life," the armored man spoke. "Now show me the decision that you can make."

"Are you crazy?" Odette struggled to stand up. "The ones that are now in trouble, and I don't even have time for this."

"Choose or fall," the armored man demanded. Then he continued to fight Odette again. In instinct, Odette began to go into defense.

Odette continued dodging and blocking every punch or attack that was now coming her way. At this rate... Odette thought. I will not be able to see if there is anything that I can do to help. Suddenly, the sound of a chime rang into her ears. But I can't give up because... The chime has started to become louder. "I HAD ENOUGH!" Odette cried out. Suddenly, a flash from Odette's pendant shimmered as well as her forehead started to glow. Revealing a gem of a sapphire.

"You chose..." the armored man stopped. The armored man has started to do some movements. "DIAMANTI SKONI!"

"SAPPHIRE SILVERY ICE WING BLIZZARD!" Odette launched her attack. With one attack, Odette destroyed the armored man's attack and nearly knocked him from his own two feet.

"Impressive," the armored man spoke. Suddenly, the ice around Odette changed shape in front of her. Odette took hold of the object, the ice suddenly turned into a large fan. Well decorated and seemed to be used as a weapon.

"What is this?" Odette asked.

"Your destiny has been set," the armored man spoke. "And it is time to follow it."

"My destiny?" Odette echoed. Suddenly, Odette's pendant transformed into a pen.

"Now, it is time for you to help your princess and your comrades." The armored man spoke with kindness.

"My...princess?" Odette blinked.

"Use these words," the man spoke. "Saphire Prism-Sword Power. Then you will know the rest on your own." Suddenly, the man in armor has started to disappear.

"Good luck, kýkno mou." The armored man has suddenly disappeared without a trace.

"Saphire..." Odette looks at her pen and looks up to the surface. Odette nodded as she felt the ice begin to bond with her. "SAPHIRE PRISM SWORD POWER, MAKE UP!" All at once, the whole area has started to glow.

{ODETTE'S TRANSFORMATION DESCRIPTION}

The young girl held her pen in the air, flapped it open as if it is a fan. With swift wind from the fan like pen, it has suddenly turned her nails dark blue and blue a sudden bright light enveloped her surroundings. Beneath her, sparks of crystals surrounded her and she backflips her dive into the surroundings of light. As her body is encased with a crystal sphere as she dove, the sphere has suddenly turned into dust. Suddenly, the dust turned to stardust and was surrounded by silvery-white feathers as her body glowed. The stardust dances around with the silvery-white feathers as if it is ribbons themselves. For instance, stardust and silvery-white feather ribbons surrounded her body and started to wrap around her torso and midsection. Suddenly, a white leotard with a blue bow in the center and a dark blue brooch is clipped onto it. Slowly, Odette started a U-turn to go back up. The dark blue collar with three blue stripes appeared. Suddenly, the fan closed up and slides into the brooch to keep it stable on the bow. Odette crosses her arms above her head; then the stardust and silvery-white feather ribbons wrap around her arm-length white gloves trimmed with dark blue and blue. Then the stardust and silvery-white feather ribbons wrapped around her legs. Suddenly, a pair of dark blue high heels and a blue dot are clipped to the tips of her heels. Suddenly, a pair of dark and blue star earrings appeared on each of her ears. When she got to a solid surface, the dust and feathers encased her like an eggshell. Within a flash, a pair of silvery-white wings appeared and transformed into a dark blue skirt that was around Odette's waist with a blue bow on the back. Within a few flashes, a dark blue choker with a light blue stripe and a small gem appeared. Onto Odette's forehead, a small gem began to glow to bright dark blue as a silver tiara formed with bronze details. In the middle of the tiara, a dark blue rose holds a blue gem in the middle. Suddenly, the dust disappears as Odette smiles with confidence. Odette spun around and struck a pose in front of an image of sapphire stone with dark blue roses in the background.

Above the surface, Sailor Topaz and Sailor Zoisite are digging as best as possible to get Odette out. Suddenly, the whole ice started to glow. "Huh?" both Sailor Topaz and Sailor Zoisite blinked. That gasp stopped both Sailor Earth and Sailor Chibi Moon.

"Hey," Sailor Chibi Moon pointed. "The ice...it...it's glowing."

"Strange, ice won't..." Sailor Earth was about to speak. Suddenly, Sailor Earth's brooch has started to bring a gentle glow. "The crystal...it's reacting." Sailor Earth whispered. "Could it be...?" Suddenly, the ice started moving from the edges towards the pool's center. "Girls, get out of there!" Sailor Earth ordered.

"Huh?" Sailor Chibi Moon, Sailor Topaz, and Sailor Zoisite turned in confusion.

"Flowery!" Flowery attacked.

"NOW!" Sailor Earth ordered as she and Sailor Chibi Moon jumped away from the attack. Sailor Topaz and Sailor Zoisite jumped as well. Once the girls were off the ice, all at once, the ice started to move to the center of the pool very fast.

"Flowery?" Flowery blinked as the Sailor Guardians landed on the ground.

"What's happening?" Sailor Chibi Moon asked. Suddenly, the ice turned to the shape of a swan.

"What the blazes..." Sailor Topaz blinked. In the blink of an eye, a constellation of a swan began to glow in the sky.

The glow reflected into the water, allowing it to glow around the ice sculpture of the swan. With a swirl of the water, the swan has changed into a Sailor Scout with a familiar face.

"Odette?" Sailor Earth blinked as her brooch started glowing. Suddenly, the constellation of the swan disappeared without a trace.

"Now that I can call an entry," Sailor Zoisite pouted with jealousy.

"Don't be like that Zoisite," Sailor Topaz sympathized with her.

"She truly is a swan," Sailor Chibi Moon blushed in amusement.

"How dare you ruin the moment of our pool time," Odette spoke. "Well, it is time to end it now, because I am a pretty guardian, who fights for love and the heart of truth. I am Sailor Sapphire! In the name of the sacred gems, I will freeze you with the wings of truth."

"Saphire?" Sailor Topaz and Sailor Zoisite blinked in shock.

"Now I'm seeing everything," Sailor Topaz rubbed her head.

"A new Sailor Guardian?" Sailor Earth blinked. "How many more gems that are needed to be discovered?"

"Your guess is as good as mine," Sailor Chibi Moon shrugged.

"Flowery!" Flowery attacked Sailor Saphire.

"Sailor Saphire!" the girls cried out in terror.

"SAPHIRE..." Sailor Saphire cried out. "DARK BLUE ROSE SWORD DANCE!" Sailor Saphire launched her attack that is full of roses that soon turned to swords and then launched towards Flowery.

Flowery cried out in pain.

"Sailor Earth, Sailor Chibi Moon," Sailor Saphire called out. "Now there's your chance, you must end this. Now!"

"Right," Sailor Earth nodded. "Chibi Moon," Sailor Earth held out her Earth Rod.

"I'm with you," Sailor Chibi Moon nodded as she held out her hand-me-down Moon Rod.

"EARTH..." Sailor Earth began.

"MOON..." Sailor Chibi Moon began.

"PRINCESS HALATION!" both Sailor Earth and Sailor Moon combined their attacks.

"REFRESH!" Flowery cried out as it disappeared. All that was left was a mysterious seed pod floating upon the water. Suddenly, it has turned dry and boiled while it has released energy from an unknown origin before returning everything to normal.
