(if you didn't know, the Hanahaki Disease is an illness born from unrequited love, where the patient's throat will fill up with flowers, they will then proceed to throw, and cough up the petals, (sometimes even the flowers). One of the only ways for the disease to 'disappear' is if, the said person returns the feelings (it can't be resolved with friendship, it has to be genuine feelings of love). The infection can also be removed through surgery, though the feelings disappear along with the petals. If they choose nether options, or the feelings are not returned in time, then the patient's lungs will fill up with flowers, and will eventually suffocate.)

Keebo has the Hanahaki disease, and has been keeping it hidden for awhile. Shuichi has basically friend-zoned him, and started dating (you get to choose who) three weeks ago. By this point Keebo has given up and accepted his death. After another week has gone by, Shuichi learns that (whoever you chose) has been cheating on him. Shuichi breaks it off and three days go by. In that time, Keebo has been rarely showing his face, and it's starting to worry Shuichi, who is still somewhat broken up by the whole cheating thing. Shuichi then goes on a hunt looking for Keebo, since he's way too worried about him to just stand around and do nothing. But he can't find him. But when it's nearly dusk, he finds Keebo holed up in a spare shed, and it all goes down hill from there. At this point, Keebo is barely functioning due to the Hanahaki Disease, and is essentially near death. When Keebo notices Shuichi, he freaks out, and starts tearing up, while trying to tell Shuichi to leave. (Since he doesn't want Shuichi to have to witness his, untimely demise.) But Shuichi is taking none of that, walks over to Keebo, and starts hugging him tightly. Keebo struggles to get out of his grip, but then he starts coughing up petals, causing Shuichi to question him about it. Keebo refuses to answer who he has the Hanahaki Disease for, since he's already accepted his fate. Shuichi on the other hand, who isn't too keen on Keebo dying, starts breaking down in tears, while sob-yelling to Keebo that he cares about him. But Keebo then suddenly shuts down, leaving Shuichi believing he's dead. While he's sobbing about how everyone he truly cares about, or truly loves, leaves him, and unable to cope with the fact Keebo is gone, he notices a gardening spade.... Shuichi walks over to it and grabs it.....ready to plunge it into his heart. Keebo, who wasn't actually dead, just shut down, gets up and notices- well, ya know, Shuichi about to commit seppuku. Keebo rushes over to him, grabs the spade, and chucks to over his shoulder. Shuichi, who's in disbelief, starts questioning if what he's seeing is real. Keebo make a snarky remark that, "Of course I'm fucking real. I just stopped you from killing yourself!" Shuichi smiles and places his hand on Keebo's cheek, and starts rubbing it lightly. Which causes Keebo to blush slightly. Then some gay flirting, which leads into Shuichi making a bold move and kisses Keebo. (Then maybe a makeout scene? ......Yes Makeout scene.)

              HOLY BAJESUS THIS THING IS LONG! And this is just a fucking request/prompt idea! holy fuck- also the reason Keebo isn't dead, is because while he was shut down he partly heard Shuichi sobbing about how the people he truly cares about leave him, which causes the Hanahaki vines/flowers to shrink down, but they aren't fully gone. (MORE ANGST BITCHES)
