CHAPTER TEN: 7:15 A.M.

ASHLEY JENKINS SENT A SMILE TOWARDS MARY MARGARET. Despite it being early, she had seen the woman rush into the place like hell fire was after her. Ashley had seen how she would rush in here for a while. And watch David.

"One cream and sugar." Ruby handed David his coffees. "One black."

"Thank you," David handed her the cash. Before he turned to Mary Margaret. "Morning."

"Okay, is it just me, or does Mary Margaret, have a crush?" Ashley asked lowly, although she didn't questioned Ruby or anyone else in the diner. She didn't want for the others to see what she had seen. And made the woman feel terrible.

Snow and Rocky were careful as they snuck up on the turkey. Only, a second later, the bird flew away, heading footsteps and seeing the figure approach the two. They held up their weapons. Snow a spear and Rocky with her bow and arrow.

"Hey! It's me," the girl speaks.

"Red," Snow breathed out.

"The spear, Snow? Arrow, Rocky?" She questioned.

"Right. Sorry." Rocky bright down her weapon.

Snow put her spear down, walking towards the other. "I wasn't expecting you for a month."

"It's been a month." She informed.

Rocky furrowed her eyebrows. "It has been?"

"You two are really taking well to solitude, aren't you?"

"Red, please, we love it." Rocky lies.

"It's fine. It's exactly what I wanted. To be out here. Anyway." Snow says at the same time.

"And that you are. Here you go," Red handed the basket filled with food.

"Thank you. So, how are things back in the world?" Snow asked.

"Come on. Ask what you really want." Red told her.

"I don't know what you mean."

Rocky sighed. "I'll ask. How's Charming?"

"The weddings happening. Prince James is marrying Midas' daughter. In two days time."

Snow said nothing, shocked and heartbroken.

"You okay?"

"I just thought the longer I was out here the easier it would be to forget him."  Snow admitted.  "But, instead, all I do is think about him."

"I could have told you that wasn't working."  Rocky spoke.

"I'm sorry." Ruby tells Snow.

"I wish there was a way to get him out of my head."

A look comes over Red's face, as if she had an idea. But it looked different. Like she was scared.

"What? Is there?" Snow asked.

"Of course not. I mean, that would be..."

"Red, what do you know?" Snow asked. "Come on, I helped you when no one else would. What do you know?"

"Okay." Rocky spoke, moving to take the basket. "Oh, would you look at that? Bread. I love bread."

"What do you know?" Snow sounded pleading.

"Well, there are whispers. Whispers of a man who can achieve even the most unholy of requests. A man who can do what you ask."

"Who is this man?"

"What? No. I'm going with you." Rocky tells her sister.

"No. I have to go on my own," Snow says.

Ashley spun in her chair, then smiling up when the door opened. "August, right?"

The man nodded. "You work here too?" He questioned, seeing the uniform. But, the girl sat down.

"Yep. It's a bit slow. You want anything?"

"This is the thing that will get rid of your love for the Prince?" Rocky questioned, looking at the tiny bottle, filled with a strange, white, foggy substance.

"I won't remember him at all," Snow answered.

When, a pigeon landed on Snow's hand. Snow took the note from the bird's feet. She opened it.

Dearest Snow, I've not heard from you since our meeting. And can only assume you found the happiness you so desired. But I must let you know I'm not a day goes by that I had not thought of you. In two days time I'm to be married.  Come to me before then. Come to be and snow me you feel the same, and we can be together forever. And if you don't, I'll have my answer."

Snow held the note close to her.

"No. Why would I want to go. Who knows what you and Charming are going to do after you see each other."  Rocky gagged.

Snow rolled her eyes.

"So, anything else?" Rocky questioned the man, August. He had stayed for quite some time. As, now it was raining heavily.

Her head turned, when her door rang. Emma had entered.  Before she caught a glimpse of the man sat at the booth.

"Would you like a refill on your coffee?" Rocky questioned. "Or to reheat it?"

"We need to talk," Emma speaks, looking at August. She turns to Ashley. "Can I get a hot chocolate-"

"You're normal? Okay, yeah." The girl nodded, eyeing her weirdly. It was obvious she was going to have a conversation with the man. She had no clue as to what it was of.

When she came back, the two were close, August had lifted up the suitcase, pausing when Ashley returned. "Here's your hot chocolate. Anything else?"

Emma sent a smile up at her. "No thanks."

"Snow! There you are-" Rocky stopped, seeing the tears running down her sister's face. "Why's happened? Who are these guys?" She gestured to the men surrounding her.

"She's my sister," Snow told the men, who had taken a protective stance over the woman.  Snow pushed past them, hugging her younger sister.

"Where's Snow?" Grumpy asked, running into the place. "Where is she? Snow? Snow!"

"In the room," Rocky answered.

Grumpy ran towards it. "The royal wedding! The kingdom's abuzz! It's off, Snow. He left her. James left Abigail! Did you hear me? Your Prince Charming isn't getting married."

"Who?" Snow asked.

"What?" Rocky asked in shock, realizing what her sister had done. "No. No. Snow, you-" Rocky saw the empty bottle.

"Thank you, Ruby." Mary smiled when's he handed her her coffee.

The door opened, David stood at the door before quickly turning around. Mary followed after her.

"That was odd, right?" Ashley asked.
