Yeah, I know I was dead last chapter, only because I wrote like a ton of words and I couldn't come up with a smart enough Author's Note.

Anyway, if you are observant, you may have noticed the picture is different. Aside from the fact that there is no more picture of the minion Pyrolisk, the brightness of the lava seems different.

Why?

I was screwing around, trying to make it look cooler...and I may have gone too far, but it's...okay, I guess?

Anyways, there won't be any MAJOR Sting stuff 'til next chapter. Don't worry, you'll live.

The queen roared, gazing at you and Natsu before it took a step towards you and snarled. Natsu gulped and you entered your Lightning Sky Dragon Mode again.

"H-hey, what about m-me?" Natsu stammered, "I can't fly!"

You smiled at him, "You'll be fine...Ignis!"

The fire snake formed and watched Natsu before averting it's gaze to the giant queen, you told Ignis to accompany Natsu and so, he sprouted a pair of wings and Natsu got on.

"I trust you won't eat him?" you chuckled.

"If I eat him, then the queen eats me!" Natsu laughed.

"Take care of him."

The queen suddenly spat lava out of her mouth and the lava was heading right for you, you quickly flew out of the way and so did Ignis. You faced Natsu, wide-eyed.

"Anything else you've forgotten, SALAMANDER?" you asked.

Natsu smiled nervously, "That they use lava as a defense mechanism?"

"If the queen doesn't get you by the end of this mission, I WILL," you snapped.

You zipped away, towards the queen and when you were about to attack her, something pummeled you from behind. You turned to face a minion Pyrolisk that clawed your stomach making you scream. You quickly blasted it away with an attack before checking your wound.

I'll live.

"Roar of...the Lightning Sky Dragon!"

The attack hit the queen in the face and it cried out in response, suddenly about 10 or so Pyrolisks came flying behind her and charging towards you.

"Crap-"

"Fire Dragon's Iron Fist!"

Natsu flew in and punched one of the Pyrolisk sending it flying towards two others making all three crash into the ground, defeated.

"Neat, you might just redeem yourself, Dragneel," you smirked.

"Right."

You spun around to deal with the four Pyrolisks that were flying towards you, "Wing Attack of the Lightning Sky Dragon!"

The four Pyrolisks crashed into the ground and the remaining Pyrolisks charged towards you, you suddenly had an idea. You flew towards the queen and made sure the minions were following you, you quickly zapped the queen, getting her attention.

"Hey!" you yelled.

The queen faced you and snarled, you smiled back and turned around to see that the three Pyrolisks chasing you were opening their mouths, ready to fire. The streams of fire left their mouths and you quickly flew up so instead of hitting you, the fire hit their queen.

Enraged, the queen shot lava towards the Pyrolisks, taking care of them. The burnt Pyrolisks sunk to the ground and the queen faced you, shooting lava. You quickly flew out of the way and shot a beam of electricity, hitting the queen's leg.

The queen roared and tried to swipe you with her tail but Natsu got her attention by making a group of Pyrolisks ram into their queen's chest, by accident. You smiled at Natsu and he grinned back before you quickly flew to where he was.

Then you watched in shock as the queen lowered her head to the same level as her minions, the minions looked at her in fear as she opened her mouth and...ate them. She swallowed her minions before roaring again and facing you and Natsu.

All the minions were gone, now it was just you, Natsu and the queen...

"Remember, Y/N. We're here for her hide, not for her head," Natsu said.

"Got it."

You quickly flew around the queen, spinning around and around, flying around her frame. The giant beast tried to pluck you out the air but you were simply too fast. You sped up and soon you were whipping up a tornado, with the queen trapped inside. The tornado suddenly lit up and began crackling with electricity.

"Dance of the Lightning Sky Dragon!"

You flew out of the way just in time to see the queen get electrocuted by the electricity over and over again, it was like a storm was in the tornado. There was a loud roar and the queen broke out of the tornado and snarled. You then noticed something...

...the lava on her body wasn't glowing as brightly.

"Natsu!" you yelled.

You quickly flew towards him, "I know how we can hit the queen directly! If we cool down the lava, we can hit her directly!"

Natsu looked at you curiously, "And how the hell do we do that?"

You grinned, "Leave it to me, you distract the queen."

Natsu nodded and flew towards the queen, you watched him and Ignis before you sped towards the nearby lake you spotted while you and Natsu wandered around, trying to find the Pyrolisk's lair. You did the same thing you did with the queen and began flying around, making a tornado.

The tornado soon begun picking up the water and soon it became a whirlpool, you quickly controlled the wind and flew towards the queen, telling Natsu to get the hell away from here. You set down the whirlpool on the queen and watched as she cried out.

The water soon disappeared into steam and revealed the queen who had become completely black, the lava had been sucessfully put out! You cheered and smirked as you faced Natsu and high-fived him.

"Let's go get that hide!"

You formed three small tornados that were crackling with electricity and used them to hit the queen, the large Pyrolisk roared and tried to spit out lava but what came out was smoke. You smiled and flew closer.

"Wing Attack of-"

"Y/N~!"

You turned in time to see Natsu fly into you, you suddenly felt the air get knocked out of your lungs as his weight tackled you. You eventually grabbed his scarf and flew upwards.

"Where the hell is Ignis!?" you shouted.

"There!" Natsu yelled.

You looked to see Ignis and the Pyrolisk queen staring at each other, the queen then roared and was about to bite down on Ignis when you dropped Natsu and grabbed Ignis and flew out of the way. You immediately fired a roar that exploded inside the queen's mouth. The queen stumbled backwards before opening her mouth, only to have smoke come out in great amounts.

You nodded at Ignis before he flew away to catch Natsu, you gazed at the queen when she stood back up, smoke still coming out of her mouth.

"Rage of the Lightning Sky Dragon!"

You immediately flew towards her back and shot several orbs of lightning encased in wind and shot it at her back, the queen roared in anger and slashed at the air which you used to be in before you flew away. The queen suddenly exhaled a ton of smoke out of her nostrils, sucessfully blinding you.

You gasped and accidentally inhaled the smoke throwing yourself in a coughing fit. You suddenly felt yourself drop and begin plummeting.

"Crap!" you yelled as you inhaled more smoke.

You kept your mouth shut and when you finally exited the smoke you took in lots of air, you then felt yourself in somebody's arms, you looked up to find Natsu.

"You okay?" he asked, concerned.

"Yeah," you answered.

You then found yourself back to normal, you sighed and looked at Natsu who put you down. You glanced up at the queen and snarled.

"This is gonna take awhile, other than the fact that we put out her lava and her lava breath, she seems to be completely fine," you said.

Natsu smiled, "Then we just have to up our game, now won't we?"

You smiled and nodded before you looked back up at the queen, "Alright. Let's take this queen down."

You clenched your fist and all of a sudden it was engulfed in fire...blue fire. Two fiery blue wings sprouted out of your back and blue marks appeared on your arms.

"What the hell is with you and your modes that let you fly?! It's not fair!" Natsu whined.

You smiled and flew up, "I don't know. There are just so many possibilities with my magic, that's why it's so amazing. And no it's not fair, you have two heads while I have one, that's why it's fair."

Natsu looked at you, "But...fire? Isn't that a bad idea?"

"This isn't normal fire, this is beautiful blue fire. It burns even hotter than normal fire, this is why it's so amazing," you smirked.

You flew into the air and watched the queen, "Blaze of the Blue Fire Dragon!"

A vortex of blue flames appeared and you laid it down on the queen, she roared in anger and you quickly changed modes so you were back to your Lightning Sky Dragon Mode, you quickly let out a roar that hit the queen straight in the face.

You went back to your Blue Fire Dragon Mode and engulfed your body in blue fire as you tackled the queen and knocked her to the ground.

"Brilliant Flame of the Fire Dragon!" Natsu yelled.

You smirked and snapped and as Natsu's flames hit the queen it became blue fire which dealt twice as much damage. The queen roared and you heard a loud, deafening crack. You stared at Natsu and when the queen rose again it looked different, it's black skin peeled off of her and lay on the ground and now she had shiny, ash gray skin and silver talons.

It looked exactly like a snake that just shed it's skin, it was all shiny and brand new and crap.

"Natsu! The hide! It's off of her!" you cheered.

Natsu grinned, "Yeah but I suppose we have to deal with the queen first."

You nodded and snickered, "Let's end this with one final blow, Natsu."

Natsu smiled and the two of you hovered over the queen as you prepared the ending blow, fire swirled all around you and Natsu and you prepared to unleash hell upon the queen.

"Crimson Lotus Exploding Flame Edge!"

A swirl of blue and normal fire was unleashed upon the queen and because of the conjoined fire, there was an explosion. When the smoke disappeared the queen let out one last roar before collapsing to the ground, defeated.

You sighed in relief and landed on the ground, leaving your Blue Fire Dragon Mode. Natsu landed beside you and you allowed Ignis to take his well-deserved rest.

"You did great, Natsu, appreciate this because I rarely compliment people," you smiled.

Natsu smiled back, "You too. Y'know we look like crap, like seriously, we got our asses handed to us."

You smiled, "No need to remind me, our clothes are gonna smell horrible and all that fire crap."

"Let's just get this over with, I wanna take a shower as soon as possible," Natsu said, walking over to the massive piece of hide.

You shook your head and smiled, "You said it."

>>Some Time Later<<

Of course, as you guys were making your way back to the guild, it had begun raining, so you had to hurry the hell up or else you were gonna be burnt, tired, injured, and wet which was just great.

Oh, we would also get a cold if we stayed in the rain too long.

Life's great, huh?

The two of you ran the entire way when it had begun raining, though the rain did ease up the burns. When you did make it to the guild hall, the two of you stood in front of the door, catching your breath.

"Hey, Y/N?" Natsu asked.

You looked up, "Hmm-"

You were cut off as Natsu enveloped you in a hug, you immediately hugged him back because he was warm and comfy as hell, unlike the goddamned weather you were experiencing.

"Thanks for everything, Y/N," Natsu muttered.

You smiled, "Your welcome. Now let's get into this goddamned guild hall before I burn and freeze my ass off at the same time."

"Your swearing alot today, care to tell why?" Natsu asked.

"Well for one, i'm tired, burnt, injured, and now i'm wet and cold," you said.

The two of you finally walked into the guild hall and the first thing that happened was people bombarding questions on you two.

"Oh my god, you two look like crap!" Gray laughed.

You shot him a glare, "Ya think?"

"So how'd the mission go?" Mirajane asked sweetly.

You looked at Natsu, "It went...well, but we got burnt and seriously hurt and now we're cold from the rain...so, yeah."

"Do you want to go to the infirmary?" Wendy asked.

"Nah. I'm fine, i'll live," you answered.

"Oh really? Those bite marks on your arm and that gash on your stomach don't really say the same thing."

You gulped, not because of the fact that the person that pointed out your injuries made everyone look at you suspiciously and worriedly, but because the owner of the voice was the last person you wanted to see...especially in the state you were in now.

"...Sting."
