Dans POV

(What's with this dude!?) I was on a quest to hunt a slime for one of the towns folks when I herd something rustling in the trees. "Yes a slime!" It looks like it's right behind that tree. I slowly pick up my  sword and prepare to attack. 

"AHHHHH" 

Wait that's- that's not a slime, or a monster at all. Right in front of the there was a boy who look around my age, at sixteen. " "ummm hi?" The guy looked terrified. Like I was going to kill him. Then he blurted out " I-IM a tree! Y-you can't see me!" Before covering his eyes.  "Pfft, ha ha ha!" I couldn't help but chuckle at the outrageous statement. "W-What are you laughing at...?"he asked. Fear and confusion evident in his voice. "Hey, hey calm down. My name is Daniel. It's nice to meet you" I held out my hand to help him up.

"O-oh I'm Hosuh, it's good to meet you to" he said quietly twisting his hands together. I-I'm sorry for screaming...." he whispered 

" oh no need to be sorry Hosuh!" "But why are you out here alone in the woods it's dangerous!" 

"I just wanted to explore, I'm umm new here..."  

"hmmm, then let me come with you! I was already traveling through here so we can just stick together!"

"Okay..." 

I wanted to help this odd boy, he seemed nice but dose not look very strong. It's almost as if one push could kill him. So bringing him through the forest myself seems like the best cores of action! And who knows maybe they could be friends.

Hosuhs POV

How did he know I'm not a tree!? This person seemed very smart, maybe I can trust him. "So umm, h-how come the trees re not green....? The boy looked very surprised this question. " oh my gosh I-I'm sorry was that mean!"I said. " no no no I'm just surprised that you have never seen fall before..." 

"Don't worry" he said "it's all normal the trees turn different colors then fall of for winter." The trees did look very pretty. They walked through the forest in a comfortable silence after that. Walking through the forest watching the leaves fall around them it was nice.
