chapter thirty-eight

Indigo walked into the house from school; she wasn't in the mood since all the seniors were talking about prom and their graduation. She knew Sevyn would've destroyed prom and planned to be right by his side through everything.

"You okay?" Aziel asked, seeing his youngest daughter standing by the door in deep thought.

"How did you get over Mommy dying?"

"I'm not over your mother dying; I'll never get over that."

"How could you be so happy then? I remember you being exactly like this before she died."

"I'm happy because I'm not rotting in a jail continuing to miss out on my daughters and granddaughters' lives. Your mother was the love of my life. I couldn't imagine my life without her."

"So, how are you coping?"

"By this." He hugged his daughter, making her smile. "My beautiful wife created four beautiful daughters, and I get to see her in them every day. I could've given up, especially while in jail, but I know your mother wouldn't dare want me missing out on anything, so I'm living life for her."

"Before Sevyn died, we talked about what would've happened if he died; he said he wanted me to live my life and continue to find happiness, but I just don't know how to anymore. I see myself trying to be happy, and it just feels wrong."

"Baby, you don't owe no happiness to anybody but you. You've been in a dark place, and you're the only one who can find the light to get out. The happiness is there; you just have to let it in."

Indigo didn't say anything, but she just nodded.

"But you also can't rush grieving baby." He told her. "I've had two years to do nothing but grieve; you have to take your time. It's only been two months, Indi, and you can't get over a breakup, let alone death, in two months. Stop rushing the process; you cannot move on until you understand he's gone."

"But I don't understand it because why is he gone?!" She yelled, tears welling up in her eyes. "He was going to get drafted into the NFL and propose to me on draft day. Once he won a championship, we were going to have our first kid. We had our life planned out; nothing in the plan included this! This wasn't the plan!"

Aziel sat down on the arm of the chair, allowing Indigo to vent as her sisters came into sight. They heard her from outside the door but decided not to say anything as she continued yelling in pain. Flaire eyes begin watering; she wish she could take all the pain from Indigo. She'll do it every day all over again.

Genesis was about to say something, but Aziel held his hand out, letting them know not to say anything. He waved them upstairs so he could have this time to Indigo.

"If I would have just listened to what he said, he would've been with me; there would've been no shooting."

"Baby-"

"But it was meant to happen because if he was hiding a whole girl behind my back, then what else? Maybe he was in some beef? Maybe I can't grieve properly because I don't have closure; I don't know why he's gone."

"And you have to be okay if you don't get that answer because sometimes you just won't ever."

"I want to find out."

"Sometimes the answer isn't what you're looking for; it could do more harm than good. Just don't get yourself into anything, and be safe. There wouldn't be a world worth living if one of my girls got hurt."

"I won't. Thank you, Daddy. I know we've been working on our relationship, and lately, it feels like the last two years didn't happen. I love you so much."

"I love you more, my precious gem." He kissed her forehead, holding her tighter.

"Get off my dad," Flaire said as she walked down the stairs. "Every time I come around him, one of y'all always around. Y'all can't sit with us."

"Well, I'm here, so?"

"You'll always be a backup, baby." Flaire blew a kiss towards her, making them laugh.

"Get ready. We're going to the fair in a few."

"Oooh, yes, I love that idea."

~

Maicee looked at all the clothes on the floor, then looked at the clothes on the bed and sighed. She screamed out in frustration, not understanding how she had so many clothes but nothing ever to wear.

"Why are you in here moaning and groaning?" Her mother asked, leaning on the doorway.

"I have a date and nothing to wear."

"Are you and Tyke back together?"

"Tyke's having a baby; we're never getting back together."

"Is he okay?"

"Momma, are you here to help?" She rolled her eyes.

"Where are y'all going?"

"To the fair."

"I have this skirt I ordered, but it's way too small on me. Do you want to wear a mini skirt?"

"Momma, what you doing with a mini skirt?"

"Girl, you're asking the wrong questions, and you're in the wrong business." She said, walking away. She came back two minutes later, handing her the skirt; Maicee twisted her lips to the side then stepped into the skirt, seeing it hugged her like a glove.

"Do I look like a whore?"

"You look like you can get rid of one and replace them quickly."

"I like the way you think, momma."

Looking back and forth between the bed and the floor, she picked up a white graphic tee that had three different split designs pairing it with the double belt loop distressed mini skirt, which stopped an inch below her butt. She grabbed the Rick Owens and an orange shoulder bag from Shein.

"Yay, or nay?"

"Yay, you look pretty. How are you doing your hair?" She looked at the bonnet on her head.

"Indigo actually just did my hair." She pulled off the bonnet and then the tights to release the burgundy loose wave wig.

"The hair color with this shirt is just going together; you look so beautiful, baby."

"Thank you, Mommy; I'm actually pretty nervous." She chuckled. "I haven't had a crush on a dude in five years; what if he doesn't like me?"

"His loss. If he sees you like this and doesn't like you, then he is nobody I want with you."

"You're right." She nodded, fluffing her hair with her hands. She brushed through her lashes.

"Here, take this just in case." She handed her two fifty bills.

"Thank you, Mommy; I love you."

"I love you more, be on your best behavior."

"Of course."

Maicee looked at the time, seeing she was right on time; she grabbed her bag, putting everything that she would need. Just as she was leaving, her phone began ringing; she looked at the caller ID seeing Mac was calling her. She waited for the automatic voice to shut up before she pressed 0 to accept the call.

"Hey, Mai," Mac said as soon as the line connected.

"Wassup? You got three more days in there. Going to miss it?" She joked, turning her key to start her car.

"Girl, bye; this place could burn to the ground. I'm going to miss the friends I made here, though; I'll keep in contact with them."

"Well, at least you'll be out for the summer. This our first summer single, we finna ball out."

"Word, I can't wait to come out and get everything done. I ain't get a wax in a while; I need everything done."

"Bitch, what? You ain't been shaving since you have been in there?"

"I'm not a shaving girlie." She chuckled. "Imma get bumps if I shave, so I have been rocking out, but it's cool cause Imma book a full body wax."

"You probably musty." Maicee joked, texting Ron, she was on the way.

"Bitch bye, your mother fucking musty."

"Shit, I don't give a damn unless she brings her musty ass my way." She said, pressing the brakes since a car tried to cut her off. "What the fuck is your dumb ass doing? Dumb white Crayola ass bitch!"

"Where are you going, angry ass?"

"On a date." She smirked.

"Tyke?"

"Girl, I told you he was having a baby. You thought we were getting back together? Absolutely not."

"So, who's this nigga?"

"A friend of Indigo; he's cool and fine as hell."

"Hmmm."

They talked the whole fifteen minutes it took her to pull up to his apartment on the other side of the city. When she pulled up, she got out of the car, leaning against it.

She told Ron she would meet him at the fair because she didn't want him to know where she lived yet, although he could just look it up on the system at work. Ron respected her decision. but instead suggested they meet at his house so she could let her guard down.

He went to the door, letting her in as she felt her heart skipping a few beats. She walked down the long hallway, looking at all the family pictures. She noted he was a family guy, and that was a pro.

She turned to say something to him, but he was already grilling her. He looked her over multiple times, captivated by her beauty; he couldn't get over how fine she really was.

"Stop staring at me." She shyly said, making him chuckle as he grabbed her hand, kissing it.

"Before I run off and finish getting dressed, are you allergic to dogs?"

"No, you have one?"

"Yeah, are you scared of dogs?"

"Depending on the dog."

"Astro." He called out as a medium-sized Pit Bull strutted into the living room. "This is Astro, Astro, this is Maicee. She respects boundaries, so she's not going to come to you until you tell her it's okay."

Maicee bent down, calling the dog over, who was excited to meet someone; she jumped onto her, almost knocking her down. The dog was very friendly, and Maicee could tell she loved people.

"I'll be right back; I just have to finish getting ready."

"Okay."

Maicee sat on the couch as Astro followed her around; she was still a bit nervous, but seeing him calmed her down. She just decided to play a game on her phone until she was ready.

~

Haven and Ezra walked around the fair, tension obviously in the air. Everyone noticed it was a weird energy surrounding them, but they didn't want to be in their business, so they didn't say anything.

"Are you okay?" Ezra asked Haven, getting tired of the bad energy.

"It's been weird since we got back together as if we still have hidden tension with each other."

"I don't, do you?"

"I do because we've been together two weeks, and I only see you in school or at night when I have to come second because Tyke put himself into a situation."

"I realized that the night I went out with them, I shouldn't have. You're right; I pushed aside your feelings and treated you like anything. I apologize, pretty girl; I never want you to feel like that."

"This probably isn't the best place to tell you this, but since we're talking." Haven nervously swallowed, making Ezra raise an eyebrow. "When we went bowling, this boy was flirting, and I was flirting back."

"What the fuck does that mean?"

"Exactly what it sounds like; there was no kissing or even anything inappropriate said, just a few looks and conversation."

"I know him?"

"You know of him, but that doesn't matter because I felt so bad. At the moment, it was like I liked the attention, but after, it was like it wasn't the attention I wanted. I wanted my boyfriend to tell me how fine I was, looking at me like he could eat me right there and then."

Ezra opened his mouth to say something but closed it back. He thought about what she said; he didn't want this to end in an argument, so he listened to what she said.

"You didn't have to tell me, so I accept your apology," He paused again because he was still taken aback. "We gon drop it. We both admitted our wrongs, so we gon get over it. The minute we feel like we are back to this point, we talk to each other like we used to."

"I love the sound of that."

"C'mere." He mumbled as she sat on his lap, putting her head on his chest. "We surrounded around too much love for us to be on the sidelines in our relationship. We're bigger than any problem surrounding us 'cause ain't no muhfuckin body coming between you and me."

"For lifersss." Haven smiled, holding her pinky out, looking up at him and making him chuckle.

"And after that." He locked pinkies with her and then kissed them.

"Haven!" They heard, making her look towards the name-calling her.

She looked towards Maicee and Ron, who were holding hands while she had a big pink carebear. She looked so happy, making Haven smile; she hadn't seen a smile that big on her face in a long time.

"Maicee!" Haven hugged her like they hadn't seen each other in the past few hours. "We have a lot to talk about, I see."

"Yes indeed," Maicee smirked, making Ron chuckle. "Hey Ezra, this is Ron. Ron, this is Haven's boyfriend, Ezra."

"How you doing, man?" Ezra held his hand out.

"Wassup?" Ron shook his hand.

"We're going on the Ferris wheel; y'all wanna come?"  Maicee asked.

"Baby?" Haven asked, looking towards him and making him nod. "Let's go."

They walked to the Ferris wheel, skipping the line since they had a fast past. They waited two minutes before Maicee and Ron were loaded on; it was their time.  Haven didn't want to admit it, but she was very scared. Ezra knew she was scared of heights, so he grabbed her shoulder, holding her tightly.

"What's your favorite color?" Maicee asked Ron.

"White."

"Excuse me?" She pushed her head back, making him laugh.

"What's wrong with white?"

"I have never in my life heard of anyone saying white is their favorite color."

"White is such a versatile color; shit, I got your ass with a white tee."

"You ate that one lil thing." She squinted, making him laugh.

"So tell me, why are you single?"

"I was hoping we never had to talk about past relationships." She chuckled.

"That bad?"

"Worse." She rolled her eyes. "I've only been in a relationship once, and that just recently ended."

"How recent?"

"Like four months ago, but officially three weeks."

"Why y'all officially end?"

"He got a girl pregnant."

"That's a lot to unpack; you okay?"

"I wasn't, but now I'm fine. The breakup was my fault; I shut him out a lot of time. When there was a problem, he was willing to talk it out, but I would ignore him. I literally broke up with him through social media and ignored him every time he tried to get me back; he just gave up. He gave up and had sex with multiple girls, getting his favorite ho pregnant."

"Why did you push him away so much?"

"I don't come from a family that talked; whenever we had a disagreement, we would just ignore each other around the house until we suddenly weren't mad anymore. My momma never talked to me, just yelled at me. I realized I had to break a generational curse, but I realized it too late. I couldn't get Tyke back."

"Do you want him back?"

"I did, but now I don't. I probably shouldn't be saying this to you, but he's the most amazing person, and I didn't deserve him."

"I appreciate you being honest with me 'cause I'll never wanna step on another man's toes. If you say it's over, I'll believe you, but I hope you'll let me know if that ever changes."

"I know it never will, but I'll always be honest with you." She reassured, making him nod. "What about you? How come you're single?"

"Truth is, I have never made it to the relationship phase." He chuckled. "I'll talk to a girl, then something would turn me off about her, so it'll be over."

"Oh, you're picky?" She chuckled.

"I'm not picky, but I like my women a specific way."

"That sounds like a red flag." She raised an eyebrow. "You controlling? The jealous type?"

"Neither," He chuckled. "I'm not controlling; I just have standards. You can't be my girl, thinking it's cool to be in other men's faces or using niggas to make me react. I don't like to play games with anyone. I'm real straightforward, and I expect my girl to be as well."

"That's actually understandable, but if you want that for your girl, I would hope you like that as well. Don't nobody want a for everybody ass person. If I'm with you we locked in."

"And that's how it is with me."

"Hmm, I think I need to get three references." She said, making him bust out laughing.

"I'll send them to your email."

Haven was looking into Ezra's lap to avoid looking down, making Ezra chuckle; he didn't understand why she wanted to get on the ride so bad if she was so scared.

"Take a picture with me, pretty girl."

Haven glared at him and then looked at the phone that he was holding out; she fake smiled, making Ezra bust out laughing.

"Baby, what you come up here for?"

"I didn't think I was still scared."

"Your prom dress ready?"

"Yes, and it's so cute stink."

"I can't wait to see you in it. Tyke having an after-prom party at the lake house; you wanna go?"

"As long as the end of the night, it's just me and you."

"Always." He kissed her forehead. "We decided to go to Aruba for our graduation trip."

"Am I invited?"

"Fuck I look like going to Aruba without bringing you?"

"You're so sweet; I wish I could bring Maicee. Ugh."

"Why?"

"Because it is awkward around y'all." She rolled her eyes. "Y'all always have y'all inside jokes or sometimes leave me out of the conversation."

"I didn't notice we do that; I think because we've known each other so long, we don't even be peeping."

"I know, it's aggravating then if I ask what's the joke or something, y'all look at me like I'm ruining the joke."

"Baby, we did that once." He chuckled. "Because you really did ruin the joke by having us break down everything, and you didn't even laugh after."

"It wasn't funny."

"To you." He mocked Redd from Bad Girls Club, making her squint and smile.

"Why is this fucking Ferris Wheel so long? We've been up here for like fifteen minutes."

"Baby, stop being so damn scary."

"Mac's getting out of jail in a few days."

"And how do you feel about that?"

"I don't know." She shrugged.

"Do you think you wanna get back friends with her?"

"She kicked my head into a tire." She frowned.

"Yeah, but you're obviously not on that, so what do you think? You wanna settle the differences because of Maicee?"

"She hasn't been out in three months, so I know Maicee's going to want to be with her a lot, and I don't wanna seem like I'm making her pick between us."

"Haven, Mac chose her side, so choose you. I love Maicee, but if she trying to push Mac on you, then she is not your friend. It's deeper than her jumping you with bitches; you forgive but never forget. If this were Sapphire trying to come back into your life, Maicee would have a fit, but since it's her sister, she wanna make excuses. Nothing excuses what Mac did, point blank."

"You're right." Haven nodded her head. "I'm going to drop the restraining order so she can come back to school, but I don't want her to say anything to me."

"Exactly. Maybe further in life, you can revisit this conversation, but her ass ain't even give you a reason she worthy of being in ya life."

"Period."

They stayed on the ride for a few more minutes before it finally became their time to get off; Haven damn near jumped out of the ride. She wanted to kiss the ground, promising never to get off of it; she walked to the food truck wanting fried Oreos.

"This where you disappeared to." They heard, making them turn around to see her sisters, Devon and Dad.

"Daddy, Ezra made me get on the Ferris wheel." She ran into his arms, making Ezra's mouth drop in shock.

"You're a liar, yo!" He said, still in shock.

"Ezra, you know she's scared of heights. Why you have my baby in the air?"

"She is lying!"  He held his arm out, pointing, making them bust out laughing.

"Welcome to my world." Devon coughed.

"I can't believe yo ass just lied like that."

"My babies don't lie," Aziel said, kissing Haven's forehead.

"Shittt." Devon and Ezra said together, then laughing.

"If she says you did it, you did it."

"That's insane."

Ezra mushed Haven as she tried to cuddle under him, making her laugh as the man handed him the fried Oreos and the banana shake. He put his arm over the shoulder as they approached the basketball game.

"Oh, watch me fuck y'all up. Baby, which bear do you want?" Devon asked, moving his arm from Genesis's shoulder.

"The purple teddy bear." She pointed to a lifesize bear.

"Bet, my man, gimme that bear. Let's go." He smacked money on the counter, being dramatic.

"Nah, nah, nah, which two y'all want?" Aziel asked, pulling back his sleeves.

"I want the yellow banana." Flaire smiled.

"I'll take the plush football." She smiled, she'll name is Sevyn.

"Why are you just standing there? Ask what I want." Haven hit his arm.

"You just lied on me the fuck? Ask me what the fuck I want." He said, making all of them laugh.

"This is insane; what bear do you want, princess?"

"I'll take the green cow." Ezra smiled.

Haven, Devon, and Aziel waited until the man gave them the basketballs before they started shooting. Haven was missing all of her shots, making Ezra gently push her so he could take her place, making her laugh.

"Yeah, sissy, just sit there and look cute." Flaire laughed with Alana.

"I was trying, okay?"

Haven smiled, so content and happy nothing could go wrong. She loved this.

~

Flaire looked through the videos of her and Keygan, not having the courage to delete everything as of yet. She couldn't believe she went through all of that to go back to not being with him again. The thing she hated the most was that she couldn't even talk to him because she was so hurt.

Her phone started ringing as she looked at the unknown number, although she deleted the number she knew it very well.

"You in the house or at work?"

"I'm home."

"Come outside."

She hung up as she got out of bed, grabbing her blanket to put around her body; she grabbed her phone and walked down the stairs. She walked to his car as he was scrolling on his phone, listening to Lil Durk lowly. He put his phone down, looking her over.

"You literally just crossed my mind."

"Word? What were you thinking about?"

"If I should've moved forward with our relationship."

"And what did you figure out?" Ra asked.

"Still undecided."

"Gimme a hug, beautiful; I miss you." He smiled as she melted into his arms; he smelled so good and looked even better.

"I miss you." She remarked, still holding onto him for another minute, then let go.

"Why you look like you so sad?"

"We not together no more."

"Damn, old boy fucked up?"

"I think we both did."

"What happened?"

"He got accepted into far colleges, and life started hitting us. Imagining the long distance and overthinking killed us."

"I'm sorry you going through this; I know you love em'. Dude ass seemed like he wouldn't let you go."

"I feel like I shouldn't be saying this to you, but I thought Keygan would be the one who I'll be loving for the rest of my life. When we were talking, I liked you so much that I didn't think about Keygan as much, but he was still a thought. I compared y'all a lot, and sometimes I just wished Keygan would've fought for me harder then and now."

"Why don't you fight for him then?"

"Because he's going to choose me instead of his dreams, and I couldn't live with that."

"You ever thought you were his dream?" He asked. "You say you don't want him to feel like choosing between dreams, but who said he can't have both?"

"Apparently us." She sadly chuckled.

"You'll be alright, kid; you always make a way for something."

"Let's forget about my sad ass life, how's everything? How's your kid?"

"She's good, sassy as fuck, not knowing when not to say shit. Shit with her mother is better, I don't see her, but her counselor says she's making good progress with her program. She wrote me like a six-page letter, but I still haven't had it in me to read that shit."

"Why?"

"Mya a weird subject; I feel like she has a small spot in my heart, so if I get to reading shit while she is in the right state of mind, it might lead me to forgive her for the shit."

"Maybe you should?" Flaire questioned. "Just because you forgive her doesn't mean you have to disregard her forever; it'll be like the book ending."

"I started messing with somebody, too." He smiled, making Flaire roll her eyes.

"Don't get too happy talking about another bitch to me now." She pointed, making him chuckle.

"After telling me you were thinking about another nigga while with me? Don't play wimme."

"But somewhere deep down, you're still my boyfriend who never got the chance to be my boyfriend, and you trying to make bitches feel how you made me feel?" She rolled her eyes. "Like you're mad disloyal."

"You actually chose another nigga over me and claimed him with yo chest after too."

"Anyways, you like this girl?"

"She cool; I met her dropping baby girl off at school. We be talking for hours and shit, and she real considerate of me being a full-time dad while having a full-time job. She not no bird, she real different."

"And she not Flaire."

Chuckling, he grabbed her hands, kissing them. "And she not Flaire."

"And she not as beautiful as Flaire."

"And she not as beautiful as Flaire."

"And she'll never make me feel how Flaire made me."

"And nobody would ever make me feel how Flaire made me feel because she's the one who got away, and I'll always regret it."

"That sounds about right; you're so sweet." She chuckled, rolling her eyes. "Honestly though, I hope she's the one who makes your personality shine so bright because you deserve to get the happiness you give to everyone else."

"And vise versa. I hope you know how much you really mean to me, kid."

"I do."

"Give me a hug, beautiful."

He reached over as she met him halfway through, holding each other tighter; Flaire really needed a hug like this lately, but she couldn't bear to ask anyone. Ra kissed her cheeks multiple times, letting her know he understood.

They heard two car doors close; Flaire wasn't paying attention, but Ra was. He watched Keygan and Tyke get out of the car, looking directly into his car as Keygan furrowed his eyebrows, obviously attitude apparent.

"Flaire, yo mans looking like he wanna fight."

"Huh?" She asked, pulling back and looking at Key stare directly at her before he walked into her house.

"I gotta go anyway; my baby girl gets out of her after-school program."

"Don't wait months for us to catch up again, stranger."

"And you do the same; make sure I see you a few times before you move for college."

"Of course." She smiled as he kissed her hands again.

She smiled one last time, then got out of the car and walked into the house, seeing her dad, Key, and Tyke sitting on the couch having a discussion.

"Where you coming from with a damn blanket on?" Aziel asked.

"Just in the car."

"Who car?"

"A friend."

"What friend?"

"We can have that conversation later."

"Why later?" Keygan asked.

"Because I don't feel like explaining myself as of now, I want to get some snacks and take a nap."

"What got you so sleepy?"

"Keygan, please stop trying to insinuate things and just ask me so I can tell you to mind your business. You walk around, not saying anything to me, but now you decide you want to be in my business because you see me in the car with another nigga."

"What nigga you was in the car with?" Aziel asked.

"It's not the fact that you in the car with another nigga, you in the car hugged up with a nigga you used to mess with like a bird. You broke up with me so you could be free to explore? You wanted that nigga all along?"

"Keygan, I'm not doing this with you!" She raised her voice, slightly annoyed.

"And why the fuck not? You got me fucked up if you think another nigga about to have you again!" He yelled, standing up. "You got out here and be a ho ass b-"

"Chill." Tyke stood up grabbing his brother to cut his sentence off. "You know this not y'all; y'all don't do this arguing shit. Y'all both hurt and acting irrationally. You love him, and he probably loves ya ass more, don't do too much to defer that."

Keygan didn't say anything as he rubbed his hand over his face; Flaire didn't say anything, walking past and going up the stairs. He sighed, plopping down and putting his head in his hands; he had never been as stressed as now.

"Imma let you slide with calling my daughter out of her name because you're heartbroken, but don't ever think you could call her anything less than a queen or talk to her like a bitch off the street again cause we could have a different conversation." Aziel stated as Keygan nodded.

"Go talk to her," Tyke said. "Ain't nothing worth losing the love of your life forever."

"Take it from a man who has no chance of ever getting his wife back; go have that conversation."

Keygan sat there for another minute, then stood up and went up the stairs; Flaire's door was locked. He sighed, knocking on it. He knew she wasn't going to unlock the door, but he decided to try anyway.

"Daddy, I don't want to talk anymore," Flaire called out.

"It's me." Flaire walked over to the door, touching the doorknob but not opening it; she just held the door as the tears ran down her face. "Baby, please."

She wiped her face, opened the door then walked away so he wouldn't see her face. She laid down in her bed, pulling the cover to cover half her face. She coughed to mask her sniffle, sighed, and then got the remote to surf through apps on her TV.

"I apologize; I don't want you to think I really think that shit."

"I know you don't."

"I don't want you to hate me."

"I could never, and trust I have tried."

"Why you tried to hate me?" He asked, sitting on the bed.

"So it won't hurt so much that I'm not with you." She admitted as her eyes watered up.

"Oh baby," He mumbled, pulling her into his chest.

"I don't want to lose you,"

"You will never lose me."

"But I have; we're not even talking. I miss you so much. I barely touch my phone, so I won't have to call you because I know I will. I've been so miserable, Key, but I've also realized this is why we broke up. We can't handle being just friends; we have to be together or not at all."

"So let's be together."

"I just need to think a little longer."

"To continue crying and being sad?"

"To just think of everything."

"I'll be here." He stated, kissing her forehead about to stand up, but she pulled his sweater.
