chapter forty-nine

Haven didn't give him time to respond as she crashed her lips onto his; she wrapped her arms around his neck. Caught off guard, Milly didn't immediately start kissing her, but he fell into temptation as he always did with Haven. He lifted her onto the sink while she stuck her tongue into his mouth. She reached for his belt buckle, easing his pants down.

Being so into the moment, they didn't hear the door open.

"Haven, you couldn't possibly be serious right now." Flaire calmly declared, making both of them jump.

Milly backed up, pulling his pants back up, meanwhile, Haven jumped off the sink. Flaire faced the door, roughly wiping her eyes. There was no way she was seeing what she was. Hearing cheering outside snapped her into reality as she clenched her fist so tight her nails were digging into her palms.

"Are you fucking serious?!" She yelled.

"Flaire-"

"Milly, please get out. Please."

Milly looked between the sisters, then walked out of the bathroom while Haven began washing her hands as if everything was normal. Flaire began pacing, still clenching and unclenching her fist. There were a million thoughts and feelings clashing in her mind.

"Haven, what the fuck goes through your fucking mind?" She asked, walking closer to her.

"I'm going to break up with him."

"Him who? Ezra? Bitch, that should've been done before you decided to fuck another nigga. Bitch, are you fucking stupid?" She asked, putting her finger into Haven's temple, causing her to lose her footing a bit.

Flaire backed up, beginning to talk to herself, trying to connect all the dots. She hadn't been this infuriated in a long time, and she was having a hard time trying to control herself. She usually would mind her business regarding their relationship, but she wanted to hurt Haven just like she was hurting Ezra.

"This is not really your business. It's not your relationship."

"Everything regarding Ezra is my fucking business you idiotic ditsy bird brain bitch!" She yelled, coming closer with each word. "Go tell him right now."

She sighed. "It's Genesis's baby shower, Flaire."

"Did that matter when you was about to get fucked on a sink?!" Flaire tilted her head."I swear to God on my momma, walk out this door and tell him or I'm going to."

"Why do you want to rush to hurt him so badly? Trust me, he'll still feel it tonight."

Flaire looked at her as if she were stupid, then opened the door, speed walking towards Ezra. Haven chased behind her, yelling her name, getting some people's attention. Just as Flaire got around ten feet in front of Ezra, Haven pulled her hair, yanking her onto the floor. That got almost everyone's attention, including Keygan. He stood confused, looking at the scene, causing Tyke and Ezra to turn to see what he was looking at.

"The fuck?" Tyke stood as Keygan ran to them. "Oh shit!"

Yanking Flaire onto the ground, Haven used all of her strength to punch Flaire in her mouth. Flaire's anger was like a grenade, and unfortunately, Haven pulled the pin. She pushed her body off the ground and began swinging with both arms, instantly bloodying Haven's nose.

Flaire had a promise she would never fight her sisters how she would fight a random female, but that went out the window as soon as Haven touched her. She wanted to knock some sense into her.

Haven was still pulling on her hair and swinging, but she wasn't swinging as fast or hard as Flaire, who was using both hands. Haven fell, and Flaire kicked her in her face, which caused Haven's head to bounce onto the floor and stop swinging.

"Baby." Keygan grabbed her by her waist, taking the hit made for Haven, which probably would've been the one to knock Haven out.

"Stop stop stop!" Aziel yelled at Flaire, who was now getting held by Tyke and Keygan.

"Bff relax, relax." Brat stood in her face, shocked and confused.

"The fuck Flaire?" Ezra yelled, picking up Haven, whose face was bleeding; he felt his body shaking with anger as he sat Haven down. He walked towards Flaire, getting Keygan's attention, resulting in letting Flaire go.

"Aight nigga, you tripping." Keygan stood in front of her, pulling his pants up. "Fuck you think you finna do while I'm right hea'?"

"Flaire, you corny as fuck for doing her like that knowing she don't fight! I don't give a fuck if this ya sister, you a bitch-"

"Ezra, you're not making anything better!" Brat cut him off.

Keygan chuckled, taking his chain off, throwing it to the side. "Chill!" Tyke let go of Flaire and grabbed Keygan, stopping him from walking to Ezra.

"Stop fucking touching me fore I beat both y'all niggas up," Keygan pushed Tyke back.

"I don't know if I wanna let you look stupid or not since you're oh so ready to fight me, right?" Flaire laughed. "You wanna defend her so bad? Ask her why she snuck me. Go ahead, ask."

Ezra didn't say anything but looked over to Haven, who was getting her face wiped by Maicee. Haven knew everyone was looking at her, but continued looking at the ground, avoiding everything.

"Well? What the fuck y'all selfish asses ruined my baby shower for?" Devon asked. "Talk!"

"She was about to fuck Milly in the bathroom," Flaire confessed causing Tyke to gasp while Aziel shook his head and everybody else remained silent.

Ezra felt his heart drop to his feet. He wanted to continue yelling at Flaire, letting her know she was mistaken, but he knew. He always knew. Keeping the tears at bay, his eyes locked onto Haven. "Word?"

"I was not about to fuck him." Haven lied.

"Oh, you're so wrong." Indigo shook her head.

Ezra looked around, spotting Milly, Ron, and Martin standing by the wall. Keygan immediately started walking behind Ezra as Tyke joined him. Keygan don't give a fuck how mad he was at Ezra, he would never allow his brother to swing by his self.

"Ezra, don't do this!" Haven yelled out, jumping in front of him, holding him in place. He slightly pushed her, but stopped walking.

"You fucking Haven?"

"Nah," Milly said honestly.

"Fuck all this shit. Nigga, you fucking with her or what?" Tyke asked impatient with the bullshit.

"We were fucking with each other." Milly answered honestly again.

"Imma be real, she been dogging you out brah," Martin added, wanting to see Haven take accountability. "He cut her off like three weeks ago but before that they was doing everything but fucking. She even spent a night a few times."

"Word?" He looked at Haven, who had tears and blood running down her face. "The fuck could you possibly be crying for?"

"Ezra, I was going to tell you!" She whined. "I didn't want for us-"

"You touch me Imma make you eat this fucking floor," Ezra told her, then looked to Milly chuckling. "She ain't worth going to jail for, she's all yours bruh."

"Ezra!" She called out as he walked out the door. Getting up to follow him, she felt a little dizzy, causing Maicee to catch her sitting her back down.

Keygan and Tyke followed behind him without anything being said. Aziel was holding onto Flaire, who was still upset. She was upset at Haven for cheating but she was seething at her having the audacity to sneak her.

"I think we gotta take you to the hospital," Maicee said, seeing that the blood wasn't stopping from above her forehead.

"This is all your fault! You miserable ass bitch! You're so mad you with the wrong nigga! You've wanted Ezra for years and-"

"Daddy, tell your daughter to stop talking to me. I'm trying to calm myself down. I'm trying to have self-control, Daddy, please." Flaire said, tears falling down her face. "Daddy, I want to kill her. Please tell her to leave me alone."

"Come on, let's get out of here," Kael said, pulling her.

"We got you sis," Elias told her.

"You don't have anything going on for yourself, so you have to include yourself in some drama. This isn't going to get you, Ezra. He won't want you after this."

"Haven, shut up," Indigo told her, beginning to get annoyed. "Damn."

Flaire threw a glass cup at her, knowing Aziel wouldn't let her go, but she still attempted to. The glass hit Maicee instead of Haven making her suck her teeth getting mad.

"You throwing shit knowing people around," Maicee said. "Then you see her face and wanna throw shit like a cornball. You wanna keep picking, knowing you could beat her."

"You know it wasn't meant to hit you, so why are you talking?" Brat scrunched her face up.

She wouldn't get into Haven and Flaire's fight, so nobody else should either. It was sister business.

"You wanna fight for her?" Flaire asked Maicee.

"I've never been scared to take nobody fade." Maicee shrugged, putting her bag down while Haven smirked.

Haven knew Maicee would've given Flaire a better fight than her.

"Maicee, you better think before you get too close to me. Haven wants you to be embarrassed with her, both of y'all know you can't beat me." Flaire told her as Maicee walked towards her.

"Maicee, sit your ass down!" Gina called out, glaring at her. "You go over there to fight and Imma fuck you up!"

Maicee listened to her mother, but she looked at Flaire, letting her know it was smoke between them now.

"Sissy, I'm so sorry. I'm going to make this up to you." Flaire told Genesis, who was sitting disappointed. "Daddy, I'm going to find my best friend."

Brat and Flaire walked out the door with Elias and Kael behind them. Everyone was now talking about everything but Genesis and Devon.

"I just want to leave," Genesis said, holding back her tears.

"Baby, don't-"

"I want to leave." She repeated more slowly.

"Then that's what we'll do. Go sit in the car, I'll transfer all these gifts to the car."

Genesis stood without saying anything to her guest, she was so disappointed in her sisters. It was a day to celebrate her difficult pregnancy, and they made it about them. She could never be selfish. She could never have the spotlight even at an event centered around her.

"We want to thank everybody for coming, but we're just going to end it early. I would appreciate it if some people helped with gifts and cleaning." Devon announced.

People stood getting extra plates, helping clean, and helping put the gifts into the car. He couldn't hide his disappointment in his sisters either, but he'd rather comfort Genesis than allow his feelings to show.

Haven woke from her nap and felt like crying, so that's exactly what she did. She covered her mouth, crying to avoid the sound coming out. She cried so hard her head began pulsating while her eyes felt swollen. She stood looking in the mirror, looking at the bandage above her eyes.

Due to Flaire punching her in the same place multiple times, the area split open. She had to get eight stitches, and her nose had to get bandaged. It pissed her off, but Ezra's ignoring her angered her more.

She grabbed her phone, attempting to call his phone, but this time it didn't go through. Her eyes watered, knowing he blocked her. She felt so down and couldn't understand why. She was going to break up with Ezra, so why did his ignoring her make her feel like she should jump off a bridge?

Walking downstairs, Indigo, Flaire, and Aziel sat in the kitchen eating breakfast. Haven made her a plate of food then sat down next to Indigo who was going through her checklist.

"When's your flight?" Flaire asked.

"At twelve."

"You're really leaving me for three weeks, you gon miss me, twin?"

"I'll miss Daddy."

"Oh, girl fuck you."

"Flaire," Aziel warned.

"I'm just playing, I'll miss everybody, but it's a well-needed break."

"Girl, I heard that. We're thinking of going with Ezra to Hawaii to get a break."

"Ezra's going to Hawaii?" Haven asked, making Aziel and Indigo look at her, but Flaire didn't spare a glance.

"You just be making plans without informing me," Aziel said once he noticed Flaire wasn't going to answer.

"Speaking of making decisions, does something seem different?" She smiled, faking to rub her eye.

"What are- Oh my god sissy! Keygan proposed to you!?" Indigo yelled, standing to grab her hand.

"He proposed before the baby shower yesterday." She recalled the smile never leaving her face. "Don't worry, we're going to have a five-year engagement."

"Congrats." Aziel smiled.

"You knew, didn't you?" Flaire squinted.

"He might've asked me for permission first." He drank his coffee.

"Congratulations," Haven said, which got ignored again.

"You're going to Hawaii with Reg, right?" Indigo asked.

"We're trying to see, Reg has to speak to her man to see if she can get us a discount at his family hotel. Daddy, you should come too."

"To Hawaii?"

"Yes, Esha and Nigel are going too. It'll be fun."

"I'll see about it."

"Well, I have to get to work." She was going to wash her plate. "Sissy, who's taking you to the airport?"

"Milly and Martin are going to take me before their shift."

"Come give me a hug." Flaire held her hands out, making Indigo go into them. "I'm going to miss you, be safe, and don't let anything alter your focus. I love you."

"I love you." Indigo smiled, letting her go.

"I'll see you later, Daddy. I love you." She kissed his forehead and walked out before he could respond.

"Is Milly coming here?" Haven asked.

"Yep, he'll be outside in a few."

"Do you think you can ask him to come inside to talk?"

"You can go outside and ask him to talk, they here now." Indigo said, looking down at her phone.

Aziel and Indigo both went upstairs to grab her bags while Haven walked outside. She saw Milly in the driver's seat and sighed. Martin saw her first and smacked his teeth, causing Milly to look at Haven. He shook his head, then got out of the car, meeting her halfway.

"Damn, you had to get stitches?"

"My sister hits hard." She chuckled. "Are we good?"

"I told you where I stood, Haven."

"I just wanted to be sure you don't hate me like I know he does."

"Nah, I'm not gonna dog pile on you. I knew what we were doing, I'm not a victim."

"Thank you." She nodded. "I know you don't wanna be with me right now, but is that at all?"

"Haven, I wouldn't mind being with you, but a healthier version of you." He shrugged. "I don't feel comfortable putting my heart in your hands right now."

"I can understand that. Based on yesterday, I realized I'm a terrible person." She said, tears pooling in her eyes. He hugged her, rubbing her back.

"You're not a bad person, you just have character flaws. There's nothing wrong with that as long as you're doing the work to change."

"I'm going to start."

"Good." He stepped back. "I know we're still going to be around each other due to Ron and Maicee, so don't ever think you can't speak to me. It's no bad blood between us."

"Understood."

She nodded just as Aziel and Indigo walked out with her bags. Milly stepped around Haven, taking the bag out of her hand. Haven hugged Indigo then watched her father hug her as well.

"Have a safe flight sissy, I love you." Haven smiled, watching her get in the car.

Indigo waved goodbye as Aziel and Haven watched the car until it disappeared. He put his arm around Haven's shoulder, kissing her forehead.

"Do you want me to stay home with you?"

"No, it's fine, but do you mind giving me a ride to Ezra's house?"

"You sure you want to do that?"

"No, but I have to face the noise."

"Are you ready? I'm leaving in five minutes."

"I'll be."

Going up the stairs, Haven sighed, putting on a simple sweatsuit. She knew she wouldn't be staying with Ezra anyway.

~

"You told me, bro." Ezra shook his head, throwing the ball into the air. "You told me this bitch was going to break my heart and I had a nerve telling you I never loved you when I should've directed that energy to her."

"Cheating doesn't mean she didn't love you, E."

"I know that, her stupid ass probably did love me in the beginning."

"Have you spoken to her?"

"The fuck are we speaking for? I don't got shit to say to that bitch. Lucky, I don't get my cousin to fuck her up."

"You're talking out of anger, you wouldn't allow anybody to put their hands on her."

"Desiree, let me be mad. When I did this shit to you, you beat everybody ass and tried to hit me with a car. I'm just talking shit, let me be."

"You're right."

"I just wanna know why, brah? What the fuck did I do to make this girl cheat on me? I thought I was a good ass boyfriend. I fed her, gave her anything she ever wanted, I always got off the game as soon as she wanted attention, I dedicated so much time to her, brah. I did everything in my power to show her I love her."

"Don't equate your actions with hers. She wanted to cheat, so that's what she did. I told you Haven haven't had any real attention before but once she started wanting to look more cuter for you, niggas started noticing the effort and wanted what you had. She didn't know how to direct all of it."

"Before me that bitch was wearing Jersey dresses as shirts and fucking Pastry sneakers."

"Ezra!" Brat yelled, dying. She felt like she couldn't breathe.

"I'm not laughing, brah, I created all that confidence she got. She used to cry to me about not having a voice and I gave her that shit to talk to other niggas. Ain't this bout a bitch."

Brat, still laughing with tears rolling down her face, made Ezra look at her with a blank expression. He just got his heart stepped on, it wasn't shit funny.

"You bout to piss me off."

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry." She tried to stop laughing, but it made her cheeks blow up until the sound of released air came out.

"Then I got Flaire mad at me and shit." He shook his head.

"She'll get over it, she understands you were trying to look out for Haven. She just needs a minute."

"Look out for Haven." He scoffed. "Looking out for her and she ain't never look out for anybody else. Selfish ditsy bitch."

"Seriously though, I know you're angry right now, but that anger is going to turn into sadness, and when it does, don't sit here alone. Call one of us, we're always going to come. Don't cry alone."

"Not going to lie, this shit already hurt." He shook his head. "I keep getting myself angry because I don't wanna sit here and cry about no bitch who could be so fucking grimey."

"It's just like death, Ezra. You have to mourn it, you can't skip through the sadness of it."

"Let's talk about you, how you been since your breakup?"

"Sad." She shrugged. "I'm going to get past it, though, I'm going to have the summer of my life."

"It be the loneliness at night that make it real." Ezra mumbled to her, making her nod.

"So let's have a sleepover." She smiled, jumping on him, making him smirk. "We're going to order food, play the game, possibly cry, then go to sleep without being alone."

"Fuck it." He shrugged.

Brat was going to say something, but began to hear yelling. They both furrowed their eyebrows, standing up, going to the source of the yelling. Regina and Haven were outside yelling in each other's faces.

"Bitch, I don't give a fuck!" Haven called out.

"You broke my best friends heart, fuck you! You're not coming in here!"

"Man." Ezra sucked his teeth then opened the door.

He felt his stomach drop a little just by seeing her swollen nose and bandage. Even being mad at her, he couldn't fathom her pretty face being beaten up. He sighed, shaking his head. This wasn't his problem anymore.

"Why you hea?" Ezra asked.

"I think we should talk."

"Of course you think that, cause that's all you think about. You."

"That's fair." She nodded. "I didn't come here to make excuses for my actions or to beg you back or anything. I want you to know I'm genuinely sorry."

"It ain't a fuck thing genuine about you." He scoffed. "But you apologized, appreciate it. See ya later."

"Shouldn't we have a conversation?"

"About what? You think I wanna know how many times you cheated on me? You want me to ask if that nigga ever touched yo pussy? You gon tell me why you lied to my face time and time again when I always just asked for the truth?"

"I have no excuses, I just liked someone." She shrugged.

"You liked someone enough that you just said fuck me and everything we were building?" He asked, walking out the door, making her back up from his towering body. "Every fucking problem in this relationship has been because of you. Lying on me like I'm a gossiping bitch, blaming your insecurities on Reg, Lying to me multiple times, breaking up with me, about to fuck Don, like the list goes on."

"Exactly, we had problems."

"Are you fucking listening? Problems that you fucking caused." He raised his hand, looking at her with disgust, then chuckling. "One thing Imma say I'm not going to miss this shit playing stupid shit."

"I'm trying to be nice-"

"Nah, I'm trying to be nice. We don't have shit to talk about brah, leave my property before I show you sumn."

"We should have a conversation, I don't want you to hate me, Ezra."

"I. Don't. Give. A. Fuck. Haven." He said, pinching his fingers together. "I got shit to do, you wasting my time."

"I'll see y'all tomorrow, Ezra. I'm going to call you after speaking to his mom." Regina smiled, running past them to get into Don's car.

"Where you wanna eat? We might as well go pick sumn up since we're out here." Brat asked Ezra, scrolling through Google to find a restaurant. "I would love some oxtails right now."

"Oxtails do sound fire, whe-"

"You know he doesn't want you, right?" Haven asked Brat, who ignored her.

"Blaire introduced me to this place over by his hood so-"

"He's playing house with you, which is cool, but he doesn't want you. He told me I was his only relationship, he doesn't even claim you. That's why you're out here telling everybody he cheated on you, holding onto the past. You'll never be his girl."

"He doesn't want you, he doesn't want me." Brat shrugged. "Guess we have something in common."

"You can't compare to me when it comes to Ezra."

"You right because you wouldn't dare catch me doing this. I'm not going to any bitch to tell them I'm more important. I haven't been with Ezra in two years, I would hope his current relationship is more important than ours."

"This shit is dragging out brah, leave what the fuck?" Ezra said. "This shit corny as fuck."

"I'm trying to be honest and-"

"It's too fucking late Haven!" He raised his voice. "I don't give a fuck about your honesty after being a disloyal ass bitch. You had three months to be fucking honest. I don't give a fuck about it brah I don't give a fuck!"

"You don't have to be disrespectful."

"You didn't either." He shrugged. "Can't take it back now, huh?"

"Ezra, this is just petty." She sighed in frustration. "I probably should've given you more time to cool off before coming but I know I fucked up. I knew all them times I was with him, I should've told you. I just liked him, and being honest, he made me happy. I didn't have to worry about ex-girlfriends or him seeing me as the girl who was bullied. He understood me every time, but also never was mean when he disagreed. I didn't want you out of my life, I still don't, but I know I'm wrong and I will always hate myself for hurting you."

"I gave Brat head in Aruba." He admitted, as tears came to her eyes, feeling her heart drop. She felt like she had been punched in the stomach with how breathless she felt.

"No, you didn't. We spent so much time in Aruba, we barely saw Brat."

"When we were drunk as fuck and you disappeared to go drunk call niggas for almost a forty-five minutes I was eating non-stop for thirty minutes."

"You wouldn't do that to me." She spoke, trying to blink away the tears.

"That's why I don't give a fuck about you cheating." He chuckled. "You need a ride home? We finna dip."

Haven attempted to swing on Brat, but Ezra grabbed her up while Haven cried, yelled, and tried to get out of Ezra's grip.

"I'm about to sit in the car." Brat yawned, not caring about what was going on. She was ready to eat.

"Haven, if I let you go and you hit her, she's going to make your face worse. Chill out." He said, letting her go, when she just pushed him.

"You've had sex and you're making me feel like shit."

"You should feel like shit." He shrugged. "Do you need a ride home? I'm not finna keep asking."

"You're fucking stupid if you think I'm getting in the car with y'all."

"Shit cool with me. Please don't come back or try to contact me again."

"You don't ever have to worry about that."

"Bet, get home safe my heart."

Ezra walked off, getting into his car, he pressed the button, then looked at Brat. She entered the address on the GPS, then looked to Haven, who was crying into her hands.

"You don't wanna-"

"Not my problem anymore." Ezra shrugged, pulling off, leaving her behind.

"You didn't have to lie to her."

"She's about to tell everybody I cheated on her to make what she did perfectly fine, and she gon be so hurt, she's never going to contact me again. It's a win for both of us."

"And what about me?"

"What? You want head fahreal?" He glanced at her, smirking.

"Don't piss me off." Brat frowned.

"I'm just saying."

"We're not going to do this all summer," Aziel stated, looking at his daughters. "Let's talk this out."

"Daddy, respectfully Genesis and I had our private conversation. She expressed her feelings, I apologized, and that's that." Flaire said.

"You have another sister at this table."

"Just because we're sisters doesn't mean I have to tolerate the toxicness that comes with her. I've had so much growth, and I know I'm not at my full potential, but being around her and all the drama she comes with makes me feel like I did all this work for nothing. I mentally cannot take Haven."

"Because you're such a good person," Haven mumbled.

"Daddy, I just need a break from all my sisters," Genesis spoke. "I moved so I can put my family I've created first. They are the most selfish, inconsiderate people I've met, and I want to be like that. I'm going to be like that."

"As she should." Flaire shrugged, not disagreeing.

"Daddy, I'm fine being by myself." Haven shrugged. "I've never been close to Flaire, and it shows. She allowed Ezra to cheat on me, but she told on me immediately. I don't want anybody like that in my life."

Flaire began laughing, clearly amused. "Daddy, my man wants to take me to dinner. Are we done?"

"Everybody good?" He asked, as everybody nodded. "Guess so."

"You wanna come daddy?"

"Nah, enjoy your date. I'm going to walk Genesis home."

"Okay, I love you. I'll be back so we can watch a movie."

Flaire stood from the table going to the living room where Keygan sat scrolling onto his phone, he looked up as soon as she walked into the room then stood up stretching. He followed her out the front door, ensuring he sped a little so he could open the door for her.

"Why did Ezra's stupid ass tell Haven he cheated on her in Aruba?"

"Who could he possibly have cheated with?"

"Desiree dumb ass." Flaire laughed. "You know Haven was going to believe Ezra because she has a victim complex. She couldn't wait to unload that from the chamber to make herself feel better."

"Haven gon get it together, she just needs a little guidance. Hopefully this situation shapes her into the best version she could be."

"I wish nothing but the best." Flaire shrugged. "I want to give you something."

"What's that?" He asked glancing back at her then the road.

She held a ring box, making him double-take, his face instantly converted into a smile. He pulled over on the side of the road, gently snatching the box, then looking at Flaire, whose smile was bigger than his. He chuckled, finally opening the box, seeing a 14K White Gold engagement ring for men.

"I had to guess your ring size."

"Perfect fit." He held his left hand up, allowing her to see it.

"I know men don't usually get engagement rings, but we've always followed our own rules." She smirked, kissing his hand.

"I love it baby, you too." He kissed her just as both of their phones began ringing.

Keygan began driving again as Flaire answered the group chat FaceTime. Tyke was on the call, and as soon as she answered, Brat and Ezra popped up.

"Where y'all at?" Tyke asked.

"Ezra's house." Brat answered, eating rice.

"We're on our way to dinner."

"Ooh, where y'all going?" Sage asked.

"Man, sit yo greedy ass down." Tyke smacked his teeth.

"We're going to Marshall's," Keygan answered.

"Oh, y'all are grimey." Brat frowned.

"You're eating fat ass," Flaire told them then smiled at Keygan. "We have something to tell y'all."

"NOOOO!" Brat yelled, making Ezra jump.

"The fuck you doing allat for?" He glared at her.

"Why would you get pregnant? Why do you want me to be a miserable ass bitch? Keygan, we got beef from this day forward!"

"Ayeee, my son gon have a lil cousin close to his age." Tyke smiled.

"Congratulations. Pregnancy is hard, but worth it, though." Sage sighed.

"So we're not pregnant." Flaire rolled her eyes.

"I knew you wasn't bff, this our year." Ezra told her.

Turning on the dome lights so they could see, Keygan and Flaire both held up their hands while smiling as big as the sun. "He proposed to me! He proposed with a diamond ring!"

Flaire saw they were taking pictures and screenshots, making her chuckle, rolling her eyes. Her friends were so messy.

"This the most simpest shit you could've did." Tyke sucked his teeth. "You be in competition with yourself just thinking how you could outdo the corny shit you do. Man, I'm mad as hell."

"The fuck are you mad for?" Flaire laughed.

"Congratulations, I can't wait for y'all's wedding." Sage smiled.

"Suck my dick, Tykeem," Keygan said.

"I'm going to cry." Brat fanned her face.

"I can't wait for this wedding." Ezra smiled.

"It's still going to be in a few years, but we're going to enjoy our long engagement."

"Man, we finna meet y'all at Marshalls. This a celebration." Ezra smiled.

"Ooh, can we go?" Sage asked Tyke.

"Yeah fat ass."

"Get a table for six and you know my drink." Brat smiled.

"We'll see y'all when y'all get here."

Hanging up, Flaire leaned back into the seat, still smiling. Keygan placed his hand on her thigh while she looked out the window. This year has been testing for her, but she wouldn't trade in the struggles she went through. It helped her become a better, loving person and she got her man back.
