Naruto Uzumaki was upset. He wasn't angry or sad. He was just upset. You would think that defeating a dangerous mercenary (albeit with help) that he would be elated. But everything felt wrong at the moment.

Team 7's dynamic had been off (not that it had ever been particularly solid). Sakura-chan treated the two of them like ticking time bombs, Kakashi-sensei hadn't taught them anything at all. Even Sasuke seemed anxious.

You would think that that after risking their lives for each other the two boys would have become friends. Of at least allies. But their stubborn pride got in the way.

And so after failing at showing up Sasuke once again, he was simply upset. Then when their sensei made a simple comment about their teamwork being off Naruto couldn't help but explode.

And Sakura's comment didn't help at all. Especially with what Sasuke said soon after.

"Then get stronger than me, dobe"

And he would do just that. Dattebayo.

Well it's up now. Tell me if you like it or not. I love feedback and I try to fix stuff you guys tell me about. I won't change the whole story though so keep that in mind.
