Episode 36~ Bonding
Upcoming in Today's Episode:
Sanyukta held Randhir's shoulder tighter. He leaned and hugged her tightly. His grip was uncomfortable, but she doesn't protest and held him. Randhir buried his face against her shoulder and continued to cry silently. Sanyukta held him closer and caressed his back. After a while, she held his shoulder and parted them.
'Randhir.' She breathed softly and held his face again. Slowly, she wiped his tears and once again they stared at each other. Then, Sanyukta leaned forward; her eyes closing. Randhir watched her lips approach closer to him.
Their lips were inches apart. But before their lips could touch Randhir leaned back. Sanyukta snapped from her trance. She blinked at him while he looked elsewhere. Embarrassed, she looked away too. An awkward silence between them. Some minutes passed and Randhir broke the ice,
- 'Thanks for coming.' His voice cracked and sounded hoarse.
Sanyukta smiled, - 'Always.' She said. Randhir looked at her, she kept smiling at him. He sighed and looked away.
'I don't deserve your support, your—love.' He looked at her and noticed her smile fade away. Sanyukta shifted little and began fidgeting with her fingers. Randhir looked at her fingers and then back at her. Slowly, she looked at him.
As their gaze met many beautiful memories flashed before their eyes. A minute later, Sanyukta broke the eye-contact and looked away. She felt Randhir rest his head on her lap and she was startled. After composing herself, she leaned forward and looked at him. He seemed to be a little relaxed; his eyes closed. She smiled to herself and began to caress his hair. Some time passed with them in each other's embrace. Randhir shifted and Sanyukta looked at him.
'Randhir.' She called him softly and shook his shoulder. He responded a minute later. He sat up and rubbed his face with his palms. Sanyukta placed her palm over his shoulder.
'I think we should go and see where Ma'am is... She needs you.' Sanyukta said. Randhir looked away as realization dawned upon him. He felt guilty for abandoning his mother alone. He looked at Sanyukta and held her palms tightly.
'Please come with me. I can't do this alone.' He pleaded. Sanyukta nodded and got up. She held his hand tightly and took him with her. Randhir kept looking at her and she kept looking at him.

Randhir looked at his mother who sat alone. The OT was locked, and the lights were all switched off. There was complete silence in the dark, deserted corridor. Only the moonlight from the windows illuminated the corridor.
As Randhir approached Renuka, he noticed she was completely still. He turned around and saw Sanyukta standing at some distance from them. Silently, she gestured him to go ahead. Randhir looked back at his mother. Slowly, he extended his trembling hand and placed his palm on her shoulder. He felt her stiffen.
'Mom.' He called her. She turned and looked up at him. Randhir felt a sharp pain in his heart as he noticed his mother's swollen eyes and dried tears.
'Randhir.' She cried and hugged him by his waist. He felt fresh tears prick his eyes as his mother broke down and began crying loudly.
At some distance, Sanyukta also had tears in her eyes. She watched Randhir caress Renuka's head. He leaned and engulfed his mother in a hug. Together the mother-son began crying. Randhir cried silently while Renuka was loud. Sanyukta wiped her tears and turned around. She hardened her heart and began walking away from them. She knew Randhir needed her the right now. But it was important that Randhir and his mother bond. Maybe this way they might sort out their difference. More than her, Randhir and Renuka needed each other the most right now.

Kishore walked towards Sanyukta's room. He was surprised noticing the door was open. He stood at the door and found Sanyukta was fast asleep inside her blanket. He smiled and walked in.
'Sanyukta.' He called softly. She doesn't respond. He held her shoulder and shook her gently.
'Wake up, beta. It's morning.' He said softly. She opened her eyes and looked at him.
'Papa.' She flashed him a weary smile. Kishore smile faded upon noticing his daughter's puffy eyes. He touched her cheek and asked with concern,
- 'What happened, beta? Why your eyes look so tried?'
Sanyukta shook her head as she sat up. 'Just work stress.' She lied, resting her back against the bed-post. Kishore eyed her.
'You have begun to lie to your father as well?'- He asked and Sanyukta lowered her head, Kishore let out a sigh, - 'I know you are worried for Randhir.' – Sanyukta looked at him, he smiled a little, - 'Go, get ready. After breakfast, we all will go to the hospital.' He said. Sanyukta nodded.
Kishore had just stood up when Sanyukta held his arm. He stopped in his track and looked at her.
'Papa, please don't take Adhiraj. Randhir might not like.' She requested. Kishore looked at her for a second before nodding. He held her hand and moved it away.
'Okay, beta.' Then he patted her head and walked out of the room. Sanyukta was relieved that her father agreed. She pulled up her leg and hugged her knees tightly.
I hope you are fine, Randhir. Please be strong – Sanyukta wished in her mind.

Randhir got two paper cups of coffee and walked towards his mother. Unlike last night, there were few people in the corridor along with them. Randhir sat beside her and forwarded a cup.
'Mom.'
Slowly, she turned her head and looked at him. Without another word, he forwarded her the cup. Silently, she took the cup from him. Together they sipped their coffee. With the warm coffee, Randhir felt refreshed and awake. The last night's tiredness slowly drained away.
'Your father wasn't always like this,' – Renuka spoke and Randhir looked at her, - 'when we had married he was a very calm and happy man. It was me who kept arguing with him. I wanted to work but he didn't want me to.' – Randhir looked away, - 'It would hurt his male ego if I worked because he believed I was his responsibility and if I worked then it would prove that he wasn't capable. Other than that we had no issues.' – Renuka sighed, - 'We were in love, we were happy. When you were born, our happiness meant no bound,' – She looked at him and smiled, - 'his business was doing great, we had a beautiful family and then, when you were around 2, his business partner cheated on him and took over his business.' – A sad expression appeared on her face as she continued, - 'Harsh was devastated and so was I. He got into alcohol abuse and things kept spiraling down after that.'
Renuka paused and took a sip of coffee, - 'Someone had to take over the economy of the house. I took it upon myself. This didn't get down well with him. And he turned into something he wasn't.' She sighed and looked at her cup.
'I am—at fault—I am everything he accused me off. Workaholic, selfish, heartless, cunning—' She stopped speaking as her lips trembled. She looked up at her son, - 'But you tell me, Randhir. What could I have done? Left you guys to die?' She cried. Before Randhir could reply to her a booming voice interrupted them.
Who could it be? *Thinking hard* Now, Renuka and Randhir have each other by their side and this could be a new beginning for their relationship. Will they be able to sort out their difference? Will Randhir get the love of his mother? Has Renuka realized her mistake? Will Randhir be able to forgive his mother and accept her?
Stay Tuned to find out.
Precap:
Randhir was shocked to see Sanyukta standing at his door-steps. She was in totally different attire. Plain pink, thick blue bordered saree and blue-white floral blouse. Red and gold glass bangle adorned her wrists. A modern, short and delicate Mangalsutra around her neck and a little peck of sindoor peeking from her hairline. She smiled widely at visibly confused Randhir. He looked away from her and looked behind her. Her driver coming towards them, dragging a wheeled bag.
'What happened?'- Sanyukta spoke and Randhir looked back at her, - 'Won't Mr. Shekawat welcome his Mrs. Shekawat?'
Randhir was even morebaffled now.
Interesting Precap... What do you guys think about the Precap? What turn will this bring in Sandhir's life?
