When I was twelve,

I said I can't go across the county

to rescue my mom

and

save the world from WWIII.

You said you couldn't pass Math class.

I did, and you didn't.


When I was thirteen,

I said I couldn't

save my best friend from

a flesh eating monster

and 

get over my brother's death.

You said you can't ask that girl to the dance.

I did, and you didn't.


At age age fourteen,

I said I can't

find my girlfriend before she was killed

and

find the end of the Labyrinth.

and 

find the dam snack bar.

You said you couldn't deal with your life.

I did, and you didn't.


When I was fifteen,

I said it was impossible

to save the world from the Titans,

and 

survive to tell the tale.

You said you couldn't beat the next level of Temple Run.

I did, and you didn't.


When I was sixteen,

I said I couldn't find the girl named Annabeth

and

get my memory back.

You said you couldn't  deal with life.

I did, and you didn't.


When I was seventeen, 

I said I couldn't save the world

agian.

You said you couldn't ask that one really cute girl to Homecoming.

I did, and you didn't.
