The young prince had to go on a long quest

to prove he was 

worthy to be king.

Along the path to his quest,

a man told him

he had Courage,

but he would also need

Strength

and

Magic.

Merlin,

like a dog to its owner,

loyally followed Arthur.

Gwaine came along to help

his friend.

"Ah," the man that had spoken with Arthur said.

"And here are Strength and Magic." 

Gwaine looked at Merlin, 

knowing that he had no magic, 

making Merlin the only possible choice for Magic,

but asked no questions.

They completed the quest.

Then Strength and Courage 

left Magic.

Leaving him all alone.
