My first time celebrating this very special day

Is not the same without her in my life

I tried so hard not to weep for her everyday

But on this day it's becoming very painful for me

I still remember the past before she became ill

Weeping on this day makes my heart aches

Sadness for the realization that she's not there anymore

She was like a mother to me next to my real mother

It's not the same without her anymore this heartbreaking day for me

I'll be outside in tears and sorrow without her in my life

Without her smile and laughter

Without her words and quotes

Without her love and affection

This Mother's Day I'll be alone without my grandmother
