Kaneki's POV

Hinami was fine and most likely Hide too. And everyone else at Anteiku would be just fine too. I didn't smile at the thought as I faced Ayato ready to fight. I stared at him as he smirked and let out a chuckle.

"Nice hair Kaneki!" He chuckled and I glared at him as we both lunged at each other at each other at the same time. Kagunes met Kagunes and fists met flesh as blood dripped around and we both jumped back.

"You're stronger now too!" He smirked as his wound healed quickly and I sighed and realized why I kept fighting...

"Hide," I whispered out on accident and Ayato smirked at me as he heard me say my boyfriends name.

I panted as I gripped the wound on my side as blood welled out heavily. I looked at the fighting that was occurring, CCG and numerous ghouls,some I never knew

"Shit," I breathed out as I dropped my hand And faced the ghoul.

I was to weak to fight anymore... I stared at him and coughed out blood as his kagune went up and I closed my eyes. I would die without Hide with me... My eyes snapped open at a warm feeling and blood dripped down my face as the kagune impaled someone. My eyes widened at the dirty blonde hair as his blood splattered and I yelled out as I caught him in my arms and fell to my knees.

"Hide!" I cried as he smiled at me, blood dripping from his mouth and I gripped him.

"Hide please hold on I can get you to a doctor!" Tears dripped down my face and he held his bloodied hand up and I grabbed it as our fingers intertwined.

"Kaneki... There's no use," he took a shuddering breathe and I cried Harder.

"Hide," I whispered.

"I love you," he smiled.

"Hide... I love you too," my voice cracked.

"Kiss me," he whispered and I leaned down and pressed my lips to his,a mixture of tears and blood took away his usual sweet taste. I pulled away as he let out his last breathe and his eyes closed forever as a soft smile remained on his lips and I screamed.

I kneeled down on his grave and set the flowers down gently And touched the stone.

"Hide," I whispered.
