"It's about time you guys showed up!" Jin says excitedly as he opened the door to the apartment.

"Thanks for inviting us over hyung." Jungkook says letting Taehyung in before himself.

"Nonsense, you guys are always welcomed here, invited or uninvited." Jin says hugging Taehyung.

"That's kinda pushing it baby." Namjoon says appearing from down the hall, followed by Yoongi.

Jin rolls his eyes and hugs Jungkook. "How have you guys been? How's Seoul so far?"

"We haven't really looked around." Jungkook says after pulling away from the hug.

    "We'll show you around later. Come on we have a lot to catch on." Namjoon says putting an arm over Taehyung's shoulder. "Hobi and Taeil should be here any minute."

Jin leads them into the living room and Jungkook notices that Jimin's not here.

    "Where's Jimin?" He asks taking a seat next to Taehyung.

    "Oh, he had to go up to the studio. They called saying something of his was left." Yoongi says sitting on the other side of Jungkook.

Jungkook nods looking over at Taehyung who looks down at his hands, chewing his lip.

    "So, Jungkook." Yoongi starts. "Care to explain to me why you disappeared for all this time?"

    "Come on,Yoongi. They just got here." Namjoon says.

    "It's fine. It's just a long story." Jungkook says. "I'll tell you guys another time. How's the music thing going, Yoongi?"

    "Hyung." Yoongi reminds before continuing. "It's going fine. Me and Joon are working from home now and it pays well."

There's a knock at the door and Jin jumps up to get it. "That's Hobi and Taeil."

Taehyung's heart beat quickens at Taeil's name. He doesn't know why but he's nervous around his old friend.

Jungkook taps Taehyung who had remained sitting after everyone had stood up.

    "What's wrong?" Jungkook asks quiet enough for only him to hear.

Taehyung shakes his head and holds onto Jungkook's arm for comfort.

Jungkook is worried but he doesn't question him further as Hoseok comes in with Taeil.

"Hey, hey, hey." Hoseok greets everyone enthusiastically.

Everyone greets the couple as they come in, Taehyung smiling at them and hugging as well despite the uneasiness that he feels.

"Let's get the drinks going, your hope has arrived!" Hoseok holding up the bags with the different alcoholic beverages in it.

The oldest four go to the kitchen to get glasses and whatnot while Taehyung, Jungkook, and Taeil in the living room.

"So, what are you majoring in Taeil?" Jungkook starts as the take their seats.

"Oh um, political science." Taeil answers sitting on the couch across from the other two.

"Ah, sounds interesting." Jungkook nods.

The front door opens getting there attention and ending the dreadful small talk.

"Oh, you guys are here already." Jimin says as he enters the apartment and closes the door behind him.

The other three stand to greet Jimin who smiles and hugs them.

"It's been so long since I've seen you guys, how have you been?" Jimin addresses the couple.

    "We've been good." Jungkook answers with a smile.

    "Hey, Taeil." Jimin says hugging the younger as well.

    "Park Jimin?" Yoongi calls from the kitchen.

    "Min Yoongi." Jimin calls back to his boyfriend.

The other four come back from the kitchen holding glasses for everyone.

Yoongi and Jimin share a short, sweet kiss that makes Taehyung smile a little.

    "Good thing you showed up Jims, we were just about to toast to Jungkook and Tae reuniting with the group." Hobi says pulling Taeil up my the arm.

Taehyung and Jungkook stand as well as Jin carefully fills each of their shot glasses with alcohol.

    "I'll make the toast." Namjoon volunteers after everyone has their drink. "Today we celebrate being one again, after several trials and tribulations, ups and downs, ins and outs, highs and lows~"

Jin clears his throat cutting off Namjoon's rant.

Namjoon clears his throat before continuing. "We celebrate Tae and Kook, for sticking together and joining us again after such a long time. To you guys, cheers."

    "Cheers!" Everyone exclaims clinking their glasses together and drinking the bitter alcohol.

The rest of the night consists of casual drinking and catching up with what's happened with the other two over the six months since the engagement.

During the eventful night Taehyung takes a moment to sit back and look at how much everyone has grown up.

Namjoon and Jin's relationship is remarkable, not that it hasn't always been, Hoseok and Taeil seem to love each other and it's crazy how much each of them have matured in four years, Jimin and Yoongi seem to be going strong and they look genuinely happy together.

"You okay?" Jungkook asks putting his arm around Taehyung.

He nods leaning into his touch and closing his eyes.

Just when the night seemed to be winding down, Jin and Jimin have the wonderful idea to do karaoke, which sets Hoseok off immediately.

Namjoon in his tipsy state thinks it's an incredible idea.

"Let's do it!" Yoongi exclaims as well, jumping to help the others set it up.

Jungkook shakes his head as he sips his drink, he didn't plan to get drunk tonight since he was driving, but he did enjoy watch everyone else.

Especially Taehyung who seemed to be the tired type and just kept snuggling into him.

Everyone seems to enjoy the karaoke and it goes on for ages until they drop out one by one.

Hoseok and Yoongi are the last ones standing and they aren't even really standing, just leaning against each other as they sway and sing the upbeat song.

When the song does come to and end they call a truce and end then karaoke.

They had already arranged for everyone to stay there but since Jungkook is in good shape to drive he decides to take Taehyung home.

"It was so good seeing you guys, you have to come back soon, okay?" Jin, who had been holding off on the alcohol as well, says hugging them.

"Yeah, come back soon, don't go disappearing for years okay guys? That's not cool." Namjoon says, way past the point of a little tipsy.

Jungkook laughs hugging them both. "We won't go away for that long."

"Bye TaeTae." Namjoon says hugging Taehyung who hugs back with a smile.

"Alright, later guys. Good luck with them." Jungkook says referring to the other drunk couples.

Jin laughs. "Bye guys."

Jungkook carefully leads Taehyung down the stairs, trying to keep him from tripping over himself.

"Did you have fun, baby?" He asks holding him tightly by the waist.

"Mhm." Taehyung answers obnoxiously. "I love my friends."

Jungkook can't help but to laugh at his slurred words. "They love you too."

"You love me?" Taehyung slurs as they get to the bottom of the stairs and to the car.

"Yeah, you love me?" He asks unlocking the door.

"So much." Taehyung says laughing for nothing.

Jungkook smiles helping him into the car and buckling his seatbelt.

He gets into the car himself and heads back to their apartment.

By the time they get there he thinks Taehyung is asleep but he stirs when he calls his name.

"Come on Tae, I'll help you." Jungkook says getting out and rushing to help.

They take the elevator to the fifth floor and Jungkook gets Taehyung into the apartment.

Going up the stairs is far more difficult than coming down.

Taehyung trips multiple times, laughing when Jungkook comes down with him.

When they make it in Jungkook sighs in relief as he lays Taehyung on the bed and removes his shoes and the uncomfortable jeans he's wearing.

When Jungkook goes to turn away Taehyung stops him by the arm.

"What's wrong baby?" Jungkook asks as Taehyung pulls him down closer.

"Don't laugh." He says.

Jungkook nods. "I won't."

Taehyung's hands move from Jungkook's arm down to his belt.

"I want you, Kook."
