Jungkook sighs looking over at Taehyung who was still asleep but already wearing his seatbelt. He had refused to take it off the entire flight.

He smiles a little before gently shaking the other awake.

"Tae, the planes about to land." He says earning a small groan from his fiancé. "Come on Tae wake up."

Taehyung's eyes flutter open and he looks out the window before looking at Jungkook.

"The plane's landing." Jungkook repeats.

Taehyung frowns sliding the shutter over the window and taking Jungkook's hand.

"You really don't like planes?" Jungkook chuckles to which Taehyung pouts a little.

The plane starts to descend and Taehyung's grip tightens on Jungkook's arm and not loosening until the plane hits the runway.

They take down their carryons and get off the plane.

Hobi and Taeil said that they'd meet them at the airport since the apartment they were going to be living in now wasn't too far away from Hobi and Taeil's.

Taehyung was excited to see his best friend after so long but for some reason he felt a little uneasy about seeing Taeil.

Jungkook called Hobi before hand and explained to him that Taehyung hasn't been speaking lately.

"Tae! Jungkook!" Hobi's voice calls as they are getting their luggage.

Taehyung finds Hobi right away and nearly runs over to him leaving Jungkook to grab his luggage.

"Kim Taehyung." Hobi says tackling his friend in a hug while Taeil catches up with him.

Jungkook gets over and the smile on Taehyung's face nearly melts his heart.

"I thought I would die waiting for this day." Hobi laughs pulling away and hugging Jungkook as well.

Taehyung and Taeil make eye contact but Taehyung can't read the older boy's expression.

"Why are guys acting like you've never met before?" Hoseok laughs look at the two.

Taeil initiates the hug and Taehyung hugs him back.

"It's been a long time Tae."

    "There's so much going on in my life right now and I just don't know what to do."

    "Like what?"

    "My mom's been diagnosed with cancer."

    "Alright enough of that let's get out of here. You guys must be tired from the flight." Hoseok says taking Jungkook's suitcase for him. "Tae grab that."

Taehyung and Taeil both reach for the suitcase at the same time making Hoseok and Jungkook laugh.

    "I got it." Taeil says to Taehyung grabbing his suitcase.

They all head out and to Hoseok's car, loading in their luggage before piling in.

    "I know you guys just got into town so I'll just drop you off and let you be for today. But after today we have to meet up with everyone else and get drunk legally for the first time." Hoseok says as he drives.

    "It's a deal." Jungkook chuckles rubbing small circles into Taehyung's hand. "How's work been Hobi?"

Hoseok groans. "Don't even get me started."

After graduating with a degree in journalism Hoseok got a job as an editor for some of the big magazines in Korea.

    "I'm basically a fucking assistant." He continues. "It's because I'm new and they think I won't say anything but I'm literally this close to spazzing."

Jungkook chuckles looking over at Taehyung who stares off blankly ahead.

    "It'll stop after a while they're just trying to see how far they can push you." Taeil says.

    "Yeah whatever." Hoseok says looking at Taehyung through the rear view mirror. "They're gonna get what's coming for them."

Jungkook looks at Taehyung with worried expression but doesn't bother him.

They get lost a few times but they finally find their apartment complex after almost an hour.

    "Thank you guys so much." Jungkook says as they get their things out of the trunk.

    "Do you want us to help with your things?" Hoseok asks.

    "No it's fine, we got it. Thanks again, it was nice seeing you guys again." Jungkook says handing Taehyung his bag.

Hoseok hugs Jungkook before hugging Taehyung as well. "We'll have to have a day for just the two of us, okay?"

Taehyung nods pulling away the hug.

    "Bye, call me if you need me for anything." Hoseok says.

    "See you guys." Taeil smiles following Hoseok back to the car.

Jungkook turns to Tae who has that same blank expression. "You okay, Tae?"

He looks up and smiles with a little nod.

Jungkook smiles back. "Let's go then."

The complex is nice and located deep in the city unlike their last one.

They take the elevator up to the fifth floor and look for apartment number 39.

Once they find it Jungkook unlocks the door and lets Taehyung in first.

They are both in awe with the inside of the apartment.

Downstairs is the living room and the kitchen and the spiral staircase leads upstairs to the two bedrooms and bathroom.

This apartment was much nicer than their last one.

    "Woah." Jungkook says looking around before looking to see Taehyung's reaction.

Taehyung looks around with an unreadable expression.

    "You like it?" Jungkook asks.

Taehyung nods making himself smile.

It's not that he didn't like it, he just didn't know how to react.

All his life he's lived in small rundown places and this was something he wasn't used to, how much was the rent? Would they be able to cover it with just the two of them working? What about utilities and electricity? What about~

    "Lets put our stuff up. The moving truck should be here by tomorrow evening they say but we should be fine until." Jungkook says leading Taehyung to the stairs.

Inside the master bedroom is a king sized bed and a large flatscreen is mounted on the wall.

They didn't even have a tv in their last apartment.

    "What's wrong?" Jungkook asks when he sees Taehyung's frown.

Taehyung takes out his phone and types a message before sending it to Jungkook.

Are you sure we can afford this place??

Jungkook pulls out his phone and reads the message. "Don't worry about that Tae, I'll take care of you okay?"

Taehyung isn't content with the answer but he doesn't push it.

    "I have a meeting first thing in the morning so I might be gone when you wake up." Jungkook says pushing both their suitcases in the corner.

Taehyung nods wondering over to the wardrobe that sits in the corner.

    "You hungry?" Jungkook asks, Taehyung had been eating very little the past few days and it was worrying him.

Taehyung shakes his head and pulls the wardrobe open.

Jungkook sighs. "Alright. Do you want to meet up with Jin and Namjoon?"

After two weeks of hearing nothing but his own voice Jungkook thought he was going to go crazy.

Taehyung shrugs looking at himself in the mirror that was on the door of the wardrobe.

Jungkook walks over and hugs him from behind. "You're worrying me, baby."

Taehyung looks at him through the mirror with a confused expression, as if to ask why.

    "Why don't you want to talk?" He asks for the first time since he's noticed Taehyung's unusual silence.

Taehyung's expression changes and he steps out of the hug and walks away.

    "Tae." Jungkook says as the other walks out of the room after snatching his phone off the bed.

He follows him and sees him close himself in the bathroom.

    "Taehyung." He says trying to open the door only to find it lock. "Tae. Did I upset you?"

There's no answer.

"Tae~"

Jungkook is interrupted by his phone going off in the other room.

He huffs going to grab it and answering the unknown number.

"Hello?"

"You are one low down dirty piece of shit Jeon Jungkook." Yoongi's voice comes from the other line catching the younger completely off guard.

"Yoongi?" Jungkook asks.

"I'm your hyung you brat!" Yoongi yells. "Who do you think you are? First you disappear after your engagement then you come to town without a word to me? You're lucky I don't know where you are or I'd come beat your ass."

Jungkook can't help but laugh at him. "I'm sorry Hyung. I would've called but I don't have your number."

"You can call Jin but you don't once think about asking my roommate for my number? You're as dense as they come." Yoongi scoffs.

"Are you done insulting me?" Jungkook asks.

"Yeah. Now when are you going to come over? Jin has been driving us crazy talking about you guys coming to Seoul."

"Um, soon." Jungkook says. "I just have a few things to sort out tomorrow and maybe we'll be able to see you guys."

"I'm holding you to that." Yoongi says.

"Alright. I'll see you soon hyung."

"See you soon Jeon Jeon-jackass." Yoongi says.

"What'd I do to deserve that one?" Jungkook asks not getting a reply as Yoongi ends the call.

Jungkook laughs a little before walking back into the hall to see that Taehyung was still in the bathroom.

Jungkook sighs, maybe he just needed some time.
