Taehyung wakes up in Jungkook's arms late the next morning.
It was Saturday, they both agreed to take Saturdays off to have time to themselves at least once a week.
"You okay baby?" Jungkook's voice rasps from behind him.
Taehyung nods facing him and closing his eyes again.
Jungkook pulls him closer, running his fingers through his hair while they lay silently.
"We should probably get up." Taehyung speaks after awhile.
"Probably." Jungkook says without moving.
Taehyung smiles into his chest. "Now."
Jungkook chuckles. "Why? We have nothing to do today. Why can't we just relax."
Taehyung wiggles from Jungkook's arms sitting up and running his fingers through his hair.
Jungkook turns over on his stomach and closes his eyes.
"Come on Jungkook. We're supposed to be spending the day together not sleeping." Taehyung says nudging his fiance.
"Mhm." Jungkook hums.
Taehyung rolls his eyes standing from the bed. "Fine. I guess you're too tired to join me in the shower."
"I suddenly feel well rested." Jungkook says sitting up.
Taehyung laughs shaking his head. "Is that what it takes to get you to spend time with me?"
"No. It's a bonus though." Jungkook wink.
It takes them a good half hour to shower and get dressed due to Jungkook and his wondering hands but once they do they head out to have breakfast.
They had caught up all the bills this month so they weren't penny pinching too much so they figured they'd have breakfast out for a change.
"Have you talked to Hobi lately?" Jungkook asks as they sit across from each other in the restaurant.
Taehyung nods with a mouthful of food.
"How is he?" Jungkook asks.
Taehyung shrugs swallowing. "He sounded good. Taeil seems to be keeping him busy."
Jungkook laughs thinking about the unusual pair. "They're still together?"
"I guess they really like each other." Taehyung says smiling when he thinks of Hoseok being happy in his relationship.
"That's good I guess." Jungkook nods with his mouth full.
"Were you still interested in moving to Seoul?" Taehyung asks.
Jungkook nods and shrugs at the same time. "It all depends."
"On what?" Taehyung asks.
"If I get a job or not." Jungkook says. "I don't want us to move and I can't take care of you."
"If we're both going to be working I think we can do it." Taehyung says.
"I know. But I don't want you to have to work." Jungkook says.
Taehyung frowns. "What would I do if I didn't work?"
"I don't know. Whatever you want. I just don't want you to have to worry." Jungkook says.
"I have to work Jungkook. If I didn't work I'd just be home alone all day with nothing to do." Taehyung says.
"There'd be plenty of things to do~." Jungkook starts.
Taehyung puts his hand up. "Let's change the subject."
Jungkook shrugs not dwelling on the subject too much.
The rest of breakfast is nice and they both enjoy each other's company.
They leave and head to the store to get something for dinner that they could both participate in making. The whole goal of their Saturdays off was to be together as much as possible since their schedules were everywhere during the weekdays.
Jungkook stands in the kitchen cutting some green onions while Taehyung pokes at the chicken searing in the skillet.
"I meant to ask you something while it's on my mind." Jungkook says.
"Mhm." Taehyung hums turning the food down and joining Jungkook at the counter to help cut up the vegetables.
"We haven't really thought about a date for the wedding." Jungkook says.
Taehyung nods. "It's up to you."
"Up to me? Why don't we just both agree on a date?" Jungkook asks.
Taehyung shrugs. "It's just a date Jungkook. Every date is the same."
"But I want it to be a special day for us." Jungkook says.
"It will be. Because we're getting married. Any date is average until something extraordinary happens on it." Taehyung says smiling at Jungkook.
"Alright." Jungkook nods.
Taehyung returns to the stove. "Plus we have to think of the time it'll take to save up for it. Then the time it'll take to plan after we've saved. We have to send invites at least two weeks in advance. And we need the guest to RSVP at least a week in advance for a head count and~. Don't you just want to have a courthouse wedding?"
Jungkook laughs shaking his head. "No. We only get one chance to marry each other Tae, and you want to do it in a courthouse?"
"It'd be so much simpler. We can invite Hobi and Yoongi and the rest of them as witnesses and sign the paper and be done." Taehyung says turning to Jungkook.
"You don't seem to thrilled to be marrying me." Jungkook says smiling at him.
"You know I'm thrilled Jungkook. And I want to marry you. And I want us to have a good life together. It just seems like too much to have a big wedding. We don't even know that many people." Taehyung says.
"If it's what you truly want then it's done. We can have a courthouse marriage." Jungkook caves.
"And if you want to have a big reception we can always do that." Taehyung says.
"It's not about being big. As long as we're together I'm happy with anything." Jungkook says.
Taehyung nods. "Me too."
They finish dinner and the rest of the night escapes them quickly and before they know it they're preparing for work the next day.
"One day is never enough." Jungkook complains throwing his uniform on a hanger.
Taehyung sighs silently agreeing as he hangs up his white shirt.
Taehyung lays down after fixing his clothes sighing as his body relaxing in the bed.
Jungkook gives up on his uniform and walks over to the bed.
"What time do you go in tomorrow?" Taehyung asks.
Jungkook hums crawling onto the bed and positioning himself between Taehyung's legs, hovering over him. "7:30." He answers before kissing him.
Taehyung wraps his arms around Jungkook's neck kissing him back for a moment before pulling away. "You need to go to sleep."
"I will." Jungkook says kissing Taehyung's jaw before finding his way to his neck.
"You have an early morning Jungkook." Taehyung says, his eyes falling shut from the chill that runs down his spine.
"Mhm." Jungkook hums slipping his fingers under Taehyung's long sleeved pajama shirt.
"Jungkook." Taehyung says slowly losing his resolve.
"One hour." Jungkook says sitting up little to look at Taehyung.
"No." Taehyung says.
"Thirty minutes?" Jungkook asks in a low seductive voice as his fingers run down his sides.
A chill runs over Taehyung's body and before he could think about it he gives in.
"Fine. But it's on you if you're tired tomorrow." Taehyung says pushing Jungkook off and straddling his lap.
"Trust me. I'll be just fine baby."
