Time skip~~~ 3 months

——

Things have been unusual quiet for the past few months in Seoul.

Jungkook's mother had left for good to stay in Busan so the stress he felt to keep her away from Taehyung wasn't as much but still there.

Jungkook had taken Taehyung back to Dr. Park and he was currently off the medication they prescribed him.

Which resorted in Taehyung slipping in and out of little space, as Jungkook had learned it was also called.

Haeun was now showing and the baby was healthy. Even though her and Jungkook's relationship wasn't exactly a close mother and father relationship they still made it work for the baby.

Taehyung has avoided meeting Haeun formally since he's off his medication and can regress at any moment.

His regressions have put a strain on both his and Jungkook life. Due to the regressions Taehyung hates going out in public, he even hates going to their friends house because he was embarrassed by it. And Jungkook had basically been working from home to avoid leaving Taehyung home alone.

Even though he was was slowly learning how to control it, Tae could still regress anytime.

It was a lifestyle that they both had to get used to, and even though it wasn't the worst situation to be in it still had its ups and downs.

Like when Tae decided to be a brat in little space and get into all kinds of trouble around the house, it was cute at first but now it just irritated Jungkook.

Jungkook and Taehyung were currently leaving one of Tae's sessions with Dr. Park. They were supposed to help Tae not become so dependent on the regressions but they usually just ended with him regressing anyways due to the heavy topics they discussed.

The two were at home having a normal day, Jungkook was in the kitchen working and Taehyung was in the living room trying to distract himself from his thoughts.

Even though Tae always told Jungkook he was fine and that he felt okay he was usually lying.

And lately he's been lying more and more.

Taehyung's been having some strange feelings, feelings that were too familiar yet so foreign at the same time.

The feeling of want, or was it need? The feeling of craving a release that only one thing could give him...he was craving someone's touch.

And the feeling seemed to linger longer and longer each time and he was worried he'd start feeling like he did all that time ago.

Like he needed sex, like it was the only thing left to keep him grounded.

So he had to talk to Jungkook, even though he knew Jungkook wouldn't understand.

It was the last resort.

"Jungkook?" He calls from the living room.

"Yes, Tae?" Jungkook calls back, Taehyung can tell by his voice that he's preoccupied with work right now.

Taehyung gets up and goes to the kitchen anyway. "Jungkook?"

"Yes? What is it, baby?" Jungkook asks without looking up, his phone balanced between his shoulder and his ear as he writes somethings down.

"I need to talk to you, Jungkook." Taehyung says looking down at his hands and fidgeting nervously.

"Oh, alright. I'm busy right now, Tae. In a second, okay?" He says glancing up momentarily.

"Jungkook~"

"Mr. Bin?" Jungkook says into his phone, mouthing an apology to Taehyung before continuing the conversation.

Taehyung sighs before turning and leaving the kitchen.

He disappears somewhere upstairs and Jungkook tries to rush the conversation a little bit.

After he hangs up the phone, almost half an hour later, Jungkook immediately goes to find Taehyung.

"Tae? I'm sorry, baby. I had a really important call. What did you want to~Tae?"

Jungkook looks inside the room and finds the other laying on the bed with his back facing him.

"Are you feeling okay, Tae?" He asks walking over to the other side of the bed. "What's..."

He trails off when he sees the medication Taehyung was prescribed lying open on the side table.

"Tae?" He says, looking at the other who seemed to be asleep.

"Hm?" Taehyung hums, his eyes fluttering open.

"What's this, Tae?" Jungkook says gesturing to the pills.

"It's nothing." Taehyung says trying to turn away only to be stopped by Jungkook.

"You aren't supposed to be taking these anymore, Tae. Why did you?" He asks looking down at him.

"I didn't feel good so, I thought they'd help." He says turning away successfully. "I'm fine."

"Tae~" Jungkook is interrupted by the sound of the doorbell. "We're talking when I get back."

"Don't come back, I want to be alone." Taehyung mumbles covering his head with a pillow.

Jungkook sighs and goes to get the door, when he opens it he's more than surprised to see Haeun standing there.

"Haeun?" He says. "What are you doing here?"

"So this is where you live." The girl states with a smile, her face and smile practically glowing due to the prenatal vitamin she was taking.

"Come in. Did you walk here?" Jungkook says letting her in. "The doctor told you not to over exercise."

"I didn't, Jungkook." Haeun says looking around the house. "W-Where's Taehyung?"

"Oh, he isn't feeling too well." Jungkook says. "What brings you here?"

"Where is he?" Haeun asks disregarding Jungkook's question. "What's wrong?"

"I'm not sure what's wrong, he's upstairs though." Jungkook says leading Haeun to the couch to avoid having her standing too long.

"Oh, good." She says making Jungkook raise an eyebrow.

"Why're you worried about Taehyung?" He asks.

"Can I not worry about someone?" Haeun shoots back, her demeanor alone making Jungkook more suspicious.

"Why're you acting so strange?" He asks as they sit down.

"I'm not, so um. I actually came to show you some things I picked out for the baby." She says quickly changing the subject.

"Haeun, you don't even know the gender, why are you buying things already?" Jungkook asks as Haeun hands him we phone.

"I know, but the clothes are neutral colors. They could be for a boy or a girl." She says.

Jungkook nods and swipes through some of the pictures. "They're nice."

"Yeah. So, I know Taehyung doesn't feel well, but could I meet him? I still haven't." Haeun says. "Formally I mean. I only want to say hello, then he can continue to rest."

"Um...he really isn't feeling well." Jungkook says. "I'll ask though, just wait here."

Haeun smiles. "Okay, I'll wait here."

Jungkook chuckles and stands up, rushing up the stairs.

"Hey, Tae. Haeun's here and she wants to meet you." He says knocking on the open door. "Do you want me to tell her you aren't feeling well?"

Taehyung pulls the pillow from his face and sits up, that dazed look in his eyes again. "Haeun? The girl you work with?"

Jungkook sighs. "You remember Haeun, Tae. She's having my child."

A look of realization comes over Taehyun's face and he smiles softly. "I remember now, how could I forget? And she's here to see me? That's nice, tell her I said hello."

"Why don't you come say hello yourself? It'll only take a second." Jungkook says.

"Right, yeah." Taehyung says getting up from the bed and skipping to the door, latching onto Jungkook's arm with a smile. "I hope she's nice to me."

"Why wouldn't she be?" Jungkook asks, not feeling as upset as he did before about Taehyung taking his medicine again.

He wasn't angry, he just was surprised to see him taking the medication after wanting to be off of it for so long. And he was getting used to having his Taehyung around again and not the drugged up version.

He leads Taehyung down the stairs to the living where Haeun sits looking around with an unreadable expression before she smiles when she sees them.

"Taehyung, this is Haeun. Haeun, Taehyung." Jungkook says, feeling really awkward about the situation.

Taehyung lets go of Jungkook's arm and holds a hand out. "Haeun, that's a nice name."

Haeun takes Taehyung's hand. "T-Thanks, Taehyung. It's nice to formally meet you."

The two stand there for a second, Haeun looking at Taehyung with a weird expression.

"Since we're all here, I'll go get you something to drink Haeun." Jungkook says, clearing his throat before leaving the two.

Taehyung takes his hand away. "Sit down with me."

They sit down, Haeun's eyes never leave Taehyung's face, like she's in either shock or awe.

"I can't believe I'm finally meeting you, Tae." She says, she might be blowing her cover but she couldn't help the tears forming in her eyes. "I'm so sorry it's been so long."

Taehyung tilts his head in confusion. "Did I say something to hurt you?"

"No, no. I just...I've waited so long to meet you a-and you're here." She chuckles. "I'm just really happy."

"I'm really happy too." Taehyung chuckles before looking forward with a smile that didn't match his eyes.

Haeun's smile falters, this must have been what Jaewook meant when he explained how Taehyung acted when he took the medication the doctors prescribed him.

"I'm so sorry, Tae." She whispers, tears falling down face.

"What happened?" Jungkook's voice says as he returns with a glass of water. "Why are you crying, Haeun?"

"She's really happy." Taehyung answers for her, twirling his hair around his finger.

"It's just hormones, weren't you listening when the doctor explained that?" Haeun chuckles. "Sometimes it just happens. It's no big deal."

"Alright, well as long as you're okay." Jungkook says looking over at Taehyung who stared down at Haeun's baby-bump as he twirled his hair. "Tae, maybe you should go and lie back down, you still aren't feeling well."

Taehyung nods looking up at Jungkook with his permanent smile. "Oh, yeah. I guess I should."

"It was nice meeting you, Taehyung." Haeun says, both of them standing. "I hope you feel better soon."

Taehyung laughs. "You too, Haeun. I like your name by the way."

"Thanks." Haeun says instead of pointing out that he's said that already.

Taehyung walks past Jungkook and goes upstairs.

"I'm gonna get going now." Haeun says. "I'm kinda tired and I still have some work to do."

"I thought you were gonna take a break from working." Jungkook says as he walks her to the door.

"I am, but I still have to provide for myself even if you refuse to let me do anything for the baby. It's not that bad." She shrugs. "Thanks for letting me waste your time."

Jungkook chuckles. "No problem I guess."

Haeun smiles as he opens the door for her. "Bye then, Jungkook."

"Bye, Haeun. Take care of yourself please." He says as she walks out.

"I will." She says walking a little and pretending to call a cab until Jungkook closes the door.

When he does she goes to the car Jaewook is waiting for her in.

"You see him?" He asks when she get in the car.

She nods as tears form in her eyes. "He looks just like his mother."

Jaewook nods. "Don't get too worked up. We'll figure something out, we still have five months."

Haeun nodded, they still had five months to find the Big Man and take Mrs. Jeon down before she killed Taehyung or worse.

In five months time they could all very well be dead.

But it was worth the risk to save a life.
