Chapter two: Promises

~Chapter 2: Promises.~

Ty walked with the guards out of the kingdom receiving sympathetic glances from the townspeople. Ty sighed as he thought of a plan. The entire kingdom was dependent on him. Sky was dependent on him. He couldn't back down now. He wouldn't back down now. His lover was in the clutches of his elder half-brother who would not treat the young prince with the compassion he needed, nor would he show any at all.

The guards stopped and led Ty out before returning to their posts. Ty brushed himself off before looking at the castle he once lived in. The castle he was supposed to live in with Sky.

Sky....

His name rang out through Ty's head as his eyes softened from their burning hatred to sorrow. God knows what horrid things Enderlox will put him through. But he couldn't think about that now. He needed to get to the other kingdoms to gather allies that will help him with his battle. He hardly walked an inch when someone called his name. It was one of the servants that Sky was good friends with, Jason.

"Ty!!! What happened?! I saw the castle change and-" He panted, he had obviously been running quite a bit to get to his friend.

"My elder brother has taken over and taken Sky as his own. I need to get to the other holds and gather an army of some sort. I know how to defeat Enderlox." Ty sighed.

"I'll go with you! Sky is my friend too." He said.

"No, I need you to stay here with Sky. He's too scared to be alone, he needs a friend. You have to be there for him. Enderlox will let you speak to him since your his personal servant." Ty told him.

"But-"

"Jason please!"

The younger male hesitated. "Fine. But be careful!"

"Don't worry, I'm the very soul of caution." Ty chuckled before heading off.

Sky flinched and stiffened as the door opened, but instead of the winged beast, he saw a friendly face. "Hey.." Jason smiled sympaetically.

"Jason...." Sky breathed, tears threatening to spill. Jason rushed over to him and wrapped him in a hug, letting the prince cry into his clothes. "I'm scared...wh-what will Enderlox do to me?"

"I don't know buddy...I don't know." After Sky finally calmed, Jason took a good look at his new 'attire.'

"Enderlox made me wear it...I hate black." Sky pouted.

Jason chuckled. "At least it looks similar to your old outfit, not counting color."

"True..." Sky said with a phantom of a smile. The door opened once more, Enderlox standing in the door way. Sky stiffened as he drew near.

"Alright servant, return to your quarters." Jason got up and left, shutting the door behind him. Enderlox wrapped his tail around Sky's waist and pulled the male towards him despite the squeaks of protest coming from the younger. The hybrid smirked at the prince's discomfort.

"It's been an awfully tiring day, hasn't it Prince Sky?" He snickered. Sky didn't respond, but he had to agree. He was physically and emotionally exhausted. But he was starting to feel very drowsy....God, why did he feel like this all of the sudden? He gasped softly as he realized he was leaning against his captor for support. He tried to move away from the hybrid, but his body was too tired an numb to do so. He weakly looked up as the hybrid smirked. "Tired?" He asked. Sky didn't want to answer, but his head nodded faintly. His mind felt so numb...all he could think about was sleep. It sounded so appealing. Sky realized why he felt like this.

Sky noticed Enderlox's hands glowing a soothing and calming blue. That's what was making him feel like this!! But...he was too tired too worry about it. Enderlox smiled evilly at him, like a predator smiling at his prey. He picked up his...'prey' and set him on the bed, Sky's eyes closing immediately. Enderlox smiled, "This is gonna be easier then I thought." He said before getting in the bed beside him. He wrapped his tail and arms around the small frame before falling asleep as well.
