"gianna breakfast is ready" i heard my mom yell.

"coming" i yelled back as i finished trying to dry my hair. i grabbed my phone and walked downstairs to the kitchen.

"good morning baby" my mom said making me smile.

"morning mommy" i said sitting down.

"how you feeling ?"

"okay i guess" i said. she nodded and came around the counter grabbing the ponytail holder from my wrist.

she put my hair up in a bun & we heard someone knock on the door. "come in" my mom said. i watched as my moms teammates walked in.

"we should go to the club" aunt aja said.

"aja always thinking about the club.. what bam think about that ?" aunt chelsea asked.

"i can't i have a kid" my mom said making me giggle.

"she can come with us she know how to dance" aunt syd said trying to twerk.

"syd don't play with me . im not taking my child to a club." my mom said.

"relax guys im kidding" she said making us laugh.

"it be them studs that's always tryna twerk" aunt aja said.

"ouu jack you getting thick girl" aunt tiff said making her stick her tongue out.

"period. iktr cus yeah" aunt jackie said making me snicker.

"aht what's so funny gianna ?" aunt jackie asked.

"nothing" i said hiding my face in my moms stomach.

"she laughing at you" my mom said making me shake my head.

"so jack how does your body feel ?" alysha asked.

"better.. i really didn't wanna tell becky i was feeling off but ik if i got in there not 100% i was probably gonna cost us the game" jackie responded.

"well we're glad you did.. cus you could've collapsed or something" aunt chelsea said.

"ohh mom guess what ?" i said smiling.

"what ?" she asked.

"i was voted for homecoming" i said making her smile.

"omg i thought you weren't running ?" she asked.

"i didn't but most people voted for me because the people that were running was getting on their nerves" i said putting quotes around the last part.

"lol im happy for you my love. your gonna look beautiful".

"lemme get my camera ready" my aunt jackie said making me smile.

"yeah we finna have you looking like the baddest b-"

"AJA" my mom yelled stopping her.

"oh right my bad" she said.

"so we have training tomorrow at 5 a.m. right cus i need to set my alarm" i said.

"gigi don't you think you should take a break ? i mean you been training, going to school, and having regular practice none stop" aunt jackie asked.

"i mean i have but im good. i think my body needs this big push" i said.

"well don't push yourself to hard baby. lmk if it's too much cus your body and health comes before basketball" my mom said and i nodded.

"wait so if i got voted for homecoming.. who's gonna walk me ?" i asked. i watched as my moms facial expression changed.

this is the main reason i hate that my dad isn't present, it's things like this he's missing out on. idk why he didn't want me.

i sighed and rubbed my forehead as i held back my tears. idk why i cry so much but the emotional attachment have to my mom and ik for a fact i would have to my dad if he stayed.

"baby it's not your fault, so stop thinking that" my mom said moving my hands from my face.

"i wanna whoop his ahh. ik how hard it is for your dad not to be here for your most important moments in your life" aunt jackie said.

"hey ik this sounds crazy but his brother could do it.. ik your dad ain't in your life but your uncle has and he loves you" my mom said.

i smiled and nodded because although my dad left my uncle adores me.. he's like the dad I always wanted and he supports me so much.

"okay we can ask" i said.

"good no tears my baby i promise your okay. yk i gotchu & so do they" my mom said as i hugged her.

"AWW GROUP HUG" aunt alysha yelled as we hugged.

"im so hungry" aunt chelsea said.

"yo back so big it's ridiculous" aunt aja said laughing.

kelsey🌸.

"you okay ?" i asked my daughter.

we came to disney world and she just threw up. im not understanding why cus she didn't eat anything but i guess her stomach is sensitive.

"yess my stomach feels so nauseous" she whined.

"lol let's take a break.. we can get you a ginger ale to help with your stomach" i said as she grabbed my hand.

we got her something to drink and took pictures. ik for a fact that gigi always wanted to come to disney world as a child. but i was always working so i didn't have the time to take her.

and being able to bring her makes me happy that i get to spend quality time with my favorite person.

"mommy look" gigi said. i looked at her phone and she took selfies.

"would you guys like pictures ?" a women asked with a name tag assuming she worked here we both said yes.

she took our picture and we thanked her. "ouu i look cute" gigi said making me smile.

"and what about me ?" i asked.

"ehh you'll do" she said shrugging her shoulders. my mouth dropped because girl be so fr.

"gianna fr ? you wrong just know ian paying for nun else you can buy your own tickets" i said making her laugh.

"mommy im kidding lol" she said wrapping her arms around my waist.

we decided to head home cus i could tell gigi was sleepy. after getting home we showered and she went to bed we decided to get lennox tomorrow.
