(What's up guys.. This may not be a normal opening to the normal chapter. This is the last chapter to the entire book. Now... Unlike the SCP story I wrote, this story is the first story I published on Wattpad. It has a special place in my heart, along with the people who read it. I remember the first chapter I put out. It was around July or August and I was scared out of my mind to even upload something like this. So its been a year since I've started this book and it's finally come to a close. I couldn't have done it with all of you and a couple other special people. I want to thank every single soul that has supported me throughout this book and im proud to say that with this chapter... It is fully complete. Thanks again and lets get this mother fucker rolling shall we?)

"Um... Excuse me?" Ruby spoke to the two. Y/N came in behind her.

"Sorry for interrupting." Y/N followed.

"Ah. Miss Rose and Mister L/N. Join us. We were just about to gather everyone to discuss our next steps." Ozpin smiled.

"Oh, uh, great."

"Something on your mind, Kiddo?" Qrow looked up at Ruby.

"We were wondering if the Relic at Beacon is safe?"

"Yeah... Does... Cinder have it?" Y/N asked.

"Very astute you two. I was wondering who would be the first to ask. No. Thankfully, she does not. It's true that the relic at Haven is very much at risk, and for now, that should be our primary focus. Let's just say I made finding the relic at Beacon a... Bit more challenging than at the other schools."

"Oh, That's good to hear." Ruby was relieved.

"It is. But let's not forget the challenges that lie before us. Now, is there anything else we can help you with?"

"I have a question." Y/N raised his hand.

"No, my cane is not a relic." Ozpin answered. He put his hand down. He then put his hand up again.

"No, I do not have the relic with me."

"Dang-it!"

"This cane is very important and precious to me. While I admit it still has a few more tricks up its sleeve, I can firmly say that being a relic isn't one of them. Now why don't you run and get the other students." Suddenly, Qrow's scroll rang. He reached into his back pocket and answered.

"Yeah......Okay.... Yeah, we'll be there." He then hung up.

"I'm going to assume that was Leo, he would be the one to randomly call out of the blue."

"Yeah, it was. Said he had a breakthrough with the council. Thought he might be able to get together a small raiding party for the bandits. He wants us to meet up at the school tomorrow night to walk us through it." Qrow explained, taking a swig of his alcohol. Ruby gasped in happiness.

"Really? Oh that's great! I'll go get the others! You coming along, Y/N?" She asked.

"No, I don't think I will."

"Alright, See you in a bit!" She went back upstairs to find her friends. Qrow took another swig of his drink. Y/N held out his hand as Qrow gave him his flask. Y/N took a swig and immediately coughed it out, spitting out the bitter alcohol. He handed Qrow his flask back, wiping his mouth.

"That sounds drastically different from your original conversation, does it not?"

"It does.."

"Interesting...

"I'm thinking we're being set up... Put into a trap." Y/N scratched his head. Qrow looked at Ozpin.

"Things aren't looking good, Oz."

"I know..."

(Time skip to The next evening, before they head to Haven.)

It was the evening of the next day and everyone was together in the living room with their weapons ready, their boots strapped, and their guards up. They were about to head to Haven Academy to confront Leo about the council.

"You guys ready?" Ruby asked. Everyone nodded. They set out and walked a good while before standing in the Haven courtyard. Y/N walked in front of everyone.

"This may be a trap.. So everyone, be on your guards, but act like there's no problems at all."

"How... Do you know this could be a trap?"

"Remember when we talked to the man? He knew shit wasn't going to work, and yet he miraculously pulled something off. I don't believe it for a second. I personally think he's working with Salem or Raven." He crossed his arms.

"We wont find out unless we go in there. Now let's move." Qrow walked past him. Y/N and everyone were following him inside the main hall of the academy. It was a large hall. It had a set of stairs that went into the 2nd floor balcony, overlooking the hall. In the middle, there was a large, white statue.

"Why... Hello. Thank you for... Coming. There... seems to be more of you than last time." Leo greeted us.

"Well you know what they say, The more the merrier. So what's going on with the council?"

"Why.... Did you bring your weapons?"

"uh.. Leo, we're huntsman. Are you okay?"

"Sorry! Yes, I'm Sorry. I Just haven't had my evening coffee." Leo chuckled. Yang looked around, and so did Y/N. They looked to the upper right and saw a black raven perched on the railing.

"Raven?"

"Mom?" A shot was immediately fired at the bird. The bird flew behind Leo and out came... Raven.

"Raven.." Ruby said angrily..

"They... They really are magic." Nora was surprised.

"If you're going to shoot me, shoot me. That was insulting."

"Damn... She got you, Qrow."

"Shut it, kid. What are you doing here?!" Raven started to walk down the stairs.

"I could ask you the same thing. You've been scheming little brother. Planning to attack your own sister..." Raven spoke.

"Leo... Leo what have you done!?"

"Leo did what any sane person would in his position. He looked at all the information he had in front of him, assessed the situation, and made a choice. And it seems you all have too."

"You have the spring maiden."

"I do."

"Then hand her over and let's work together! We can beat Salem!"

"All that time spent spying for Ozpin and you still have no idea what you're dealing with. There is no beating Salem!" Raven argued back.

"You're wrong. We've done things that people would think were impossible, and I know the only reason we were able to do it is because we didn't do it alone! We had people to teach us, people to help us, we had each other. We can work together... So please... Join us..." Ruby held her hand out to Raven... Raven hesitated for a moment before making her choice.

"You sound... Just like your mother." Suddenly, a portal appeared next to her as a fireball flew out and hit Ruby in the gut, sending her back.

"Ruby!" Yang and Y/N yelled together. Then, Cinder, Emerald, Mercury, and Another woman came through the portal.

"Hello Boys and girls." Cinder smiled evilly. She then looked at Y/N and remembered him from Beacon. Her face went from a smile to an angry grimace. She soon went back to her evil smug self.

"C'mon guys, is that an way to greet you old friends?" Mercury taunted them.

"Ehh I dunno, You still got bits of rubble in your ears since the last time I whooped your ass, Mercury?" Y/N asked him. Mercury just scowled at him.

"Everybody stay calm!" Qrow held everyone back. They were antsy to get to fighting the evildoers. The doors to the hall opened as a man walked through, closing them behind him.

"The White Fang is prepping demolition and securing the school grounds. No one is getting in, and no one is getting out." The man said.

"This was all... just a trap?" Weiss asked. Everyone then looked at Y/N.

"Always has been... It was kind of obvious." Y/N shrugged.

"Raven... Tell me... How long have you been with them..."

"Aww, don't take it personally little bird. Your sister was a recent addition. The lion on the other hand... Entrance to the Vytal Festival was a real treat. but Leonardo's been sending Salem all sorts of information for a very, very long time. Isn't that right, professor?" Cinder asked him.

"Stop it!"

"It was you... You sit on the Mistral Council, You had information on every Huntsman and Huntress in the Kingdom, and you gave it all to her. I couldn't find any of them, because you let her kill them!"

"Don't beat yourself up about it Lionheart. I'm sure Tyrian and Hazel would've found them on their own eventually." Cinder smirked.

"What... is wrong with you?" Jaune said in a serious tone.

"Jaune.. calm down buddy."

"No... How can you be so broken inside.. To take so many lives, And then come here and rub it in our faces like it's something to be proud of?! ALL WITH THAT DAMN SMILE ON YOUR FACE!!" He started crying. Everyone got their weapons out. Y/N summoned his rebellion.

"I'M GOING TO MAKE YOU PAY FOR WHAT YOU DID!! YOU HEAR ME!? SAY SOMETHING!!"

"Who are you again?" Cinder asked. Jaune got super pissed off. He ran right at her, attacking her, only for her to block. Ruby went in to help, but Emerald dragged her down to the floor.

"Ruby!" Y/N ran after Emerald, only to be stopped by Mercury. Oscar went up to fight Leo, while Raven and Qrow were already duking it out.

"Ah ah ah. Sorry, but your sweetheart is going to have to wait. Your fight is with me." He and Y/N circled each other.

"Man, just like old times, ey Mercury?"

"Yeah, but this time, I'm going to kick your ass." He grinned, running at the boy. The two exchanged a bunch of blows to each other. Y/N looked around and saw that Raven kicked Qrow around. There wasn't a specific enemy he could fight, so he had to float around to help the best way he could. He threw his sword over to Qrow, who was on the ground. Y/N blocked an incoming attack from Raven.

"Kid?" Qrow looked up.

"Hands off my future uncle!" Y/N yelled at the woman, kicking her back a bit.

"You have no clue who you're messing with, boy." Raven sheathed her sword, changing the element to it.

"Qrow, you help the others, I'll try my best to take her on."

"You sure you can handle her?"

"Shouldn't be too much of an issue." Y/N stated. Qrow nodded, and ran past Raven. Y/N made his rebellion disappear, as his katana manifested to his side.

"You said... Future uncle.. Are you actually thinking about marrying his niece?"

"Maybe at some point. I dunno. Maybe when all of this is over." Y/N stayed ready, his hand over the Saya (Japanese Scabbard to the katana).

"Let's see what you're made of, kid. You gave Cinder a run for her money at Beacon." She dashed forwards, unsheathing her sword. Y/N unsheathed his as well. The satisfying clang of the two metals were definitely present. They exchanged successful blocks on each others attack. Raven was definitely more skilled and in all accounts, stronger than Y/N.

"So... When are you going to tell them?" They pushed each other back.

"Tell them what?"

"That you're the maiden." She was taken back by this, but her face went back to a serious one.

"How... Do you know this?"

"Well, back when we talked to Leo, we knew you had the maiden. I proposed the idea that you could have just killed her and took her power, and it looks like I was right on the money."

"..." Raven stayed silent. Something just clicked in his mind. He has never seen that other girl before.

"You're using that other chick as bait to kill Cinder off, aren't you?" Y/N had a smug look on his face that made Raven angrier and angrier.

"Shut up!!" She changed the element to her sword again. When she pulled it out, It was on fire. She swiped in mid air, creating several portals that shot fire balls out of them. Y/N reflected them back while running at Raven. After jumping in the air, he did an over head attack. Their swords stayed connected as they looked each other in the eyes, one pair with anger, and one pair with confidence. Y/N looked around again, seeing most of his teammates losing the fights they were engaged in. He grit his teeth in a worrisome fashion.

"You want to help your friends, go fight with them, I'll keep Qrow busy again." She averted her eyes.

"You never intended to kill him in the first place, did you?"

"Just shut up and go." Raven immediately turned into a bird and flew over to Qrow, interrupting his match with Mercury.

"Sorry, little brother, but we aren't finished yet." She interjected. Yang went over to Mercury as they then started fighting. Y/N was alone again. He ran over to Ruby and Emerald. Emerald quickly used her semblance to change into Ruby as Ruby was changed into Emerald. Y/N, as the dumb idiot he was, attacked the fake one, hitting Ruby.

"Ow!! Hey!!"

"What?! I swear I just... I'm so sorry!!" He yelled. She realized that Emerald tricked him and nodded at Y/N. Emerald smirked and laughed a bit. Y/N went forward and started to attack Emerald. Ruby stayed in the back and tried hitting her with sniper bullets. Suddenly, the sound of Jaune yelling got their attention. He and Cinder ran at each other as Ruby got worried. Her eyes went white as snow as a light beamed from them. Y/N shielded his eyes from the light before it faded. Emerald smacked Ruby with her weapon, causing her to be knocked out for a bit.

"Ruby!" Y/N turned to her. He then looked up at Cinder, who was walking towards him, but wasn't looking at him. She manifested a fiery spear into her hands before throwing it past Y/N. There was a loud gasp, then silence. Y/N, and everyone else looked over to see Weiss, impaled by the spear that Cinder threw. Weiss stood, terrified by what she was looking at. Her mind couldn't even begin to imagine what just happened. She then fell to her knees as the spear disappeared. Then, she fell to the ground. Ruby woke up and saw Weiss on the ground, tears leaving her eyes. Everyone was beyond shocked. They went over to Weiss. The large statue in the middle of the building sunk into the ground as Cinder, the other chick, and Raven hopped on. Y/N was mad... He got up and walked over to the sinking statue when Ruby stopped him.

"No..."

"I'm going to kill her... If it's the last thing I do."

"I'm not losing you again..."

"I don't care... I am going down there, and making sure she suffers for what she's done. Not just to Weiss, but to everyone."

"Y/N..."

"Take care of Weiss. Make sure she lives." Y/N kissed Ruby's forehead before he jumped down the elevator-like statue after the three others got off. After a bit of walking, he ended up in a huge chamber under the school. It was massive. There was a large walkway that led to a tall, golden door surrounded by rocks with a glowing tree behind it. Under the glowing walkway, was a straight abyss into nothingness. On the walkway, Raven stood with a fiery aura around her. The other lady was on the ground, dead.

"I AM!" Raven yelled angrily. Y/N walked forwards behind Raven.

"It seems we have an uninvited guest." Cinder stated, looking behind Raven.

"Raven... I'm fighting her." Y/N said with a serious tone.

"What?! What are you even doing down here, kid?! Get out of here. This is none of you business."

"This is all of my business!"

"..."

"That wretch killed my friends, killed tons of others, and hurt my teammate. This has everything to do with me! I'm going to make her suffer. I'm going to get back at her for what happened at Beacon."

Cinder just smirked evilly.

"Go on, Raven. Let us have our rematch. It shouldn't be a problem. I'll come murder you for stabbing us in the back when I'm done murdering this bastard, then I'll just take the relic for myself."

Raven just sighed. She walked to the gate and opened the door, revealing a desert like terrain with a floating lamp like object. Cinder then put a wall of fire around it so no one could go in.

"Whatever. Whether the kid dies doesn't matter to me. Whether Cinder dies, does." She walked back to the elevator and went back up. Y/N turned towards Cinder. Cinder and Y/N paced back and forth, looking at each other from each side of the walkway.

"It's been a long time, Cinder."

"Yes. It has... How are you still alive? I remember your body disintegrating in front of me before little red interrupted..."

"To be fairly honest, I have no clue how I came back." Y/N stood and lied to her while shrugging.

"Whatever..." She rolled her eyes in frustration.

"So... Your plan was to get the relic of knowledge with Raven's help? Seems like it's not going well."

"Shut up."

"You took so much from me and my friends... I'm going to make sure you suffer... I'm going to make sure you regret ever coming across me, or my friends. I am going to make you cry for your life." Y/N put his katana away. He reached into his pocket and pulled out the ring, expecting Cinder to react negatively to it. Unfortunately, She only grinned and held her hand up, fire forming in her palm.

"You think that scares me anymore? I have trained and honed my powers for as long as I've had them. Even if you have that, it wont be enough to stop what I've become." Cinder floated in the air with a vortex of flame surrounding her, demonstrating her control over her powers.

"We'll see about that!" Y/N put the ring on his finger as a surge of Aura came to him. His weapons circled around him as the newest one, translucent as it was, stopped in front of him. The boy reached out and grabbed it, the weapon came into color as the others disappeared.

He revved up the chainsaw to the gun as Cinder landed back onto the ground. Y/N ran forward and started shooting at the woman. She blocked each round with her hand. When he got close, he started the chainsaw and tried attacking Cinder. She blocked it with a sword made of hard glass with flaming engravings. The glass was almost as hard as steel. The sparks went flying as the teeth of the saw grinded against her sword. It somehow managed to withstand the chainsaw. She was only using one hand as the boy used two. She grinned as she put more pressure on her blade, pushing the boy back. He quickly moved out of the way from under her, switching out his lancer for his rebellion. He swung at her as she ducked under the attack. She dashed backwards turning her sword into a bow. She melted dust into glass and made an arrow. She fired several arrows at the boy as he blocked them.

"So, can you tell me why your old team name sounds a lot like seme-" Y/N asked. He was talking about her team which comprised of Cinder, Mercury, Emerald, and Neo. C-MEN.

"Shut it!!" She just got angrier and angrier. She put three arrows to her bow as Y/N took out his ace of spades revolver, making his rebellion disappear. He spun it in his hand as she shot the arrows at the boy. He quickly fired three shots, taking out the arrows. What he didn't realize, was that there was a large orange circle under him, which soon exploded, causing him to fly backwards onto the ground. He quickly got up and threw the revolver at her, and as he got out of the warp, he had his dagger in his hands. It was easier to handle, and quicker to attack with. He and Cinder connected many blows with each others weapons. He threw his dagger into the air while ducking under one of her strikes. He then grabbed it with the other hand with it upside down (blade facing the ground), rather than right side up, continuing the attacks. She grew tired of the constant close quarters combat and blasted the boy backwards again. Y/N stood, breathing heavily. He slowly walked, ran, then threw the dagger into the air high above Cinder. When he got out of the warp, he held a scythe. Cinder narrowly dodged the attack and kicked his side, sending him back again. When Y/N looked at Cinder, he saw that the part of her outfit covering her left arm was ripped off. His eyes widened to the horrid sight. Cinder's left arm was Grimm... He was taken back by the sight, but didn't speak. He fell on a knee as his Aura and the power from the ring was gone... but the ring still stayed on his finger. He breathed heavily, clenching his heart. Cinder walked over slowly with an angry look on her face.

"You... Have been a thorn in my ass since the Beacon battle. Salem has been keeping a close eye on you and your stupid fucking girlfriend. I swear, when I get my hands on that bitch, I will take her eyes, and gouge them out..." Y/N slowly stood up and he was not happy. His lack of power and his strength didn't matter to him. He clenched his fists as he tried throwing a punch, only for her to slowly and easily dodge it. Cinder then extended her grim arm and grabbed Y/N by the chest, slamming him against the elevator door. As he was slammed, something fell out of his pocket. He didn't notice. The Grimm arm holding him hurt. It stung. Felt like the life was being drained from his body painfully. Cinder noticed the object that fell out of Y/N's pocket. She walked over and picked it up, inspecting it. Y/N looked at her and noticed she was looking at his phone. He immediately got worried.

"PUT THAT DOWN!! GIVE THAT BACK!! IT'S MINE!!" He squirmed around in her grasp angrily trying to break free. She managed to turn on the device to see a picture of his friends back on Earth.

"ohhh.... Who are these people?" She grinned.

"Fuck you! Give it back!" He struggled more.

"Oh well..." Her smug face turned into a bored, and serious face. She wrapped her hand around the device and held it in the air, crushing it into pieces. Y/N stopped moving, seeing the only thing left from his home.... die in front of his eyes. His eyes widened, as tears started to flow from them.

"No....." He cried to himself. Cinder only grinned and laughed internally, knowing what she did. She then released Y/N, only to grab him by the neck with the Grimm arm, choking him.

"I'm going to take what's mine, and I will not let a weak, pathetic, piece of shit like you stop me!" She squeezed his neck harder. He held his hand out as the light from his eyes faded. His vision faded as he went limp,his arm falling to his side. She kept his neck held to make sure he was fully dead.

Y/N awoke in a dark room where he could see nothing. He knew he was dead, but he wasn't in heaven. It was different.

"Y/N." He Heard a voice call to him. He turned right to see Ruby, but she was the younger version of herself, with her original combat outfit.

"It's me." Another voice came to his ears. He looked to his left to see another version of Ruby. She wore modern street clothes; The heaven version.

"Y-You... " He kept looking left and right at the two girls. They both smiled cutely.

"Y/N, you can die and see me again... We can do what we used to. We could play video games, and go to school, and live the life you should have lived in the first place, but with me. I love you so much, and I miss you..."  The boy looked to his right as the heaven version of Ruby smiled at him.

"I..."

"Y/N. You cant die.... Not again.. I can't lose you... I need you.. No, the team needs you... We all need you. We already lost Pyrrha, and Penny, and I'm not going to lose you again. Please stay alive. We can beat Salem, together. After all this is over, we can relax and be together with everyone, happily ever after. Just like in a fairy tale." He looked to his left to see the real Ruby smile at him with tears in her eyes.

"Y/N" The heaven Ruby grabbed his hand pulling him towards the light.

"Y/N...." The real Ruby held his hand, pulling him towards the darkness. He looked down and thought to himself. He could just end it all, let it go, and spend the rest of his eternity in heaven with the perfect girlfriend and all of his friends and family.... Or he could just go back to the adventure, and to the real love of his life. He could fight to stay alive and kill the evil that this planet was being consumed by along with his teammates and friends. Y/N pulled his hands away from both of them,. clenched his fists and grit his teeth. He had to make a choice.

After ten long seconds, he made his decision.

Suddenly, the ring on Y/N's finger broke apart into pieces and landed on the ground below him. Cinder noticed it and looked back up at Y/N's eyes to see that they were open, and they were silver. A silver-like Aura surrounded Y/N. Tiny bits of what seemed like starlight twinkled around him. He grabbed Cinder's Grimm arm as he yanked it towards him, sending her flying at him. He let the arm go and stepped forward sending a punch into the face of Cinder so hard, that it rocked the entire school. Everyone in the main hall almost lost their balance. Cinder slid on the ground before hitting the wall of fire she put up. She got up, looking at the boy. All of his weapons were behind his body, in a somewhat ready position.

"What the hell?!" She created another bow of glass out of sand and shot five arrows at once at Y/N. All of the weapons went to the front of him to block the shots. The arrows were immediately destroyed when they touched the weapons. Y/N just walked forwards towards Cinder. her breath quickened as she got angrier and more serious. She then used a fuck ton of her power to create a huge sword of fire. She flew into the air as Y/N did the same. Their weapons clashed as a serge of power rocked the school again, causing large rocks from the ceiling to fall. They flew around the entire vault, attacking one another. Bright colors of blue and red flashed around. They landed on several different rocks that were falling, hitting each other with a single strike on each one, causing each rock to break and crumble into small pieces. Y/N then held his hand out as his weapons were thrown at Cinder. She tried to dodge them all, soaring throughout the chamber. Small explosions in the rock marked where some of the excess weapons hit.

They clashed several more times before landing back on the walkway. Cinder was on her knees, breathing heavily, her Aura broken. Y/N took the opportunity and warped to her without even throwing a weapon. She looked up, scared. She scooted back slowly, trying to get away. Y/N then reached down and grabbed her neck and lifted her off of the ground. He walked over to the edge of the walkway. His dagger penetrated her stomach twice. She screamed in pain. His hand then turned her entire body into ice, minus her head. He then leaned in to her ear and whispered:

"You... Will never mess with me, my friends, or my girlfriend... ever again.. You will die, you will be forgotten, and nobody will remember you for as long as this planet still exists..." Her eyes widened in fear as her head was flash frozen.

"Goodbye... Cinder Fall." He then threw her off into the abyss. Her body fell and there was no thud. His eyes went back to their original color and he stumbled backwards. His vision grew blurry as hell.

"N-No... I'm not going to pass out.... Not now... I got.. To get up and get the relic..." He turned on his stomach and slowly stood up. He had barely any strength left to do anything. He summoned the rebellion once more to use as a cane to help him walk. The fire wall at the gate to the relic were already extinguished. He sighed and looked at himself. There were so many cuts and bruises to the point he didn't even know how he was even standing. He went into the desert, seeing the gold and blue relic not to far from the gate. He rubbed the sweat and blood off of his forehead. When he got to the relic he marveled at it. He reached out and grabbed it. It was lightweight, and pretty. He then fell to his knees to think about all the shit that just happened. After a while, he got up and walked back to the elevator. He pressed the button as it slowly went up. When he reached the top, everyone stopped fighting and looked up at the boy. Everyone's eyes were in shock to see his condition, both beaten and battered, but alive and with the relic no less. Ruby's eye's were in tears, not sad tears, but tears of joy.

"Y/N..." She smiled, wiping her tears. Y/N looked to see Weiss all up and healthy again. Raven was gone. Blake somehow made it there as well. Emerald, Mercury, and Hazel looked up at Y/N and the relic. Emerald's eyes widened in shock to see that Y/N had beaten Cinder. Tears flowed from her eyes as she screamed loudly. A large dark cloud spiraled into the room. Salem appeared out of the cloud, and then screamed loudly, scaring everyone. She then disappeared, along with the three others. Y/N began to walk down the steps, only to fall over and down the stairs. The relic hit the ground, but was safe and sound. Ruby ran over to Y/N to check on him.

"Do not worry about him. He is only asleep... I bet I know what happened in the vault." Ozpin spoke up.

"Let's go back to the house. Our job is done here.." Qrow said. He went over to Ruby and picked up Y/N. Everyone from the main hall went out and went back to the house. They all then went immediately to bed.

The next evening, Y/N woke up to warmth on the right side of his body. He opened his eyes to the afternoon sunset light peeking through the window. His entire body ached, but, he was very much alive and well. He looked down to see an asleep Ruby resting her head on his chest. He put his hand on her head, ruffling her hair gently to wake her.

"Mmmmm..." She nuzzled into his chest more, causing him to cough loudly. She swung her head back, startled by the sudden loud noise.

"Wahhh!!" She fell backwards in her chair. Y/N only laughed. She got up and fixed the chair.

"Yeah. I'm glad to be alive. I'm happier to see your cute face again.."

"Stop it.. you're making me all embarrassed." She looked away, her face tinted pink. She then regained her composure and looked back at him.

"Oh yeah! Blake's back!" She smiled happily.

"Oh, right! I guess I should come down and see everyone."

"Yeah. They're kind of waiting for you."

"Waiting for me?"

"I mean, yeah? You were the one that saved the day by taking down Cinder and getting the relic."

"No.. It wasn't.. It was all of us... We were there together as a team. I only finished the mission. "

"Riiiiight." She giggled and shrugged.

"What am I gonna do with you.." Y/N smiled, ruffling her hair again. She moved out of the way for the boy to get up. He slowly got up, Ruby helping him.

"You okay?" She asked.

"Yeah, I'll be alright." The two went downstairs to find everyone in the living room.

"Seems someone is finally awake." Ozpin looked over at Y/N, who scratched the back of his head with a grin on his face.

"Well, well, well. The man of the hour." Qrow crossed his arms, chuckling a bit.

"C'mon guys, Im not that important... Heheh.. Hey, Blake." Y/N looked over at Blake.

"Everyone told me what happened what happened after Beacon...." She looked away and then back at Y/N.

"I'm... happy youre alive, Y/N."

"I'm happier that youre back." His words surprised her, but brought a smile to her face.

"I'm... Glad to be back."

"Can I say it Y/N? Can I say it? I really really wanna say it." Ruby hopped up and down.

"Hmph You wanna say it?"

"Please, please, please~!" She tugged on his outfit.

"Alright.. Go ahead, Ruby."

"YEAH! TEAM RWBY AND Y/N ARE BACK TOGETHER FOREVER!!! GROUP HUG TIME!!!" Ruby cheered holding her arms outward. Weiss, Blake, Yang, and Y/N got together and hugged each other. Tears were shed in that moment, as the five ex-Beacon students were all together again after an entire year. After the hug, they broke apart and sat back down, before Y/N was able to sit, Jaune came up to him, a couple tears in his eyes.

"What's wrong, Jaune?"

"Y/N... I wanted to thank you..."

"For what?"

"You.. You avenged Pyrrha..." Y/N was surprised to hear Jaune say that. He put is hand on Jaunes shoulder.

"Jaune I could never be more proud of you. You went in and attacked Cinder with all of your might. You were brave. You stood your ground against a maiden. If I were still the same person I was when I first got here, I would have pissed myself and ran away like a coward."

"Thank you... Thank you so much.."

"I gotcha Jaune." Y/N nodded.

"Ruby.. Can I... Speak to you for a bit on the balcony outside?" She looked up to him.

"Oh! Um, sure." The two went outside to the balcony, closing the door behind him.

"So... What was it you wanted to ta-mmm!" Y/N immediately kissed her lips, and pulled her tightly close to him. After a bit, They separated with her face in a flush.

"W-What was that for?" She tapped her index fingers together.

"I love you, Ruby Rose.. Ive loved you since the night we danced together."

"I love you too, Y/N L/N... Since that same night.."

"I don't know if youve noticed, but... Today marks the same day.."

"H-Huh? How... did you remember?"

"I kept a small booklet I bought in Vale. I used it to write some of the most important things I've done in this world and the day I did them." He held up a booklet and flipped through the pages, showing dates and every important thing hes done since he first went to Vale.

"Woah..." Ruby looked at the booklet, then back at Y/N who was holding his hand out to her.

"Ruby Rose..."

"Y-Yeah?"

"Would you care to take this dance? There will be no music, but we can just imagine it in our heads."

"I.... I'd love to.." She took his hand as they both slow danced together as the sun set over the horizon. With one large step hurdled over, another step remained: Killing Salem, but Y/N wasn't going to do that alone. He had friends, mentors, a girlfriend... But most importantly, he had a team since the beginning, and in the end, thats all he was happy for.
