"Oh!? A visitor?" A young voice came from inside.

"I'll get it." An older voice came closer. The girl in blonde opened the door.

"Hello? Oh, it's the guy." She said to her teammates.

"Oh! The alien?!" Ruby asked.

"Dang it, Ozpin. Had to tell everyone." Y/N muttered under his breath.

"Come on in." Said Yang. Y/N walked in slowly.

"Everyone at beacon got a message from Ozpin, talking about the alien at the school. He also said you'd be joining us." Blake said.

"Y-Yeah..." Y/N tried not to speak much. He was shy to actually meet them.

"S-So, uh. I think I know your names from the ceremony." He said. He then pointed out each person with their names. He got them correct.

"So what's your name? Ozpin didn't put that in the message." Yang asked.

"Oh, it's Y/N, Y/N L/N. Nice to meet you."

"Likewise." Blake Said. Everyone took their weapons and set them down.

Y/N stepped back a little. Ruby noticed and turned towards her team.

"Hey, he's scared and confused. We should make him feel welcome to our planet and to us." Ruby said.

"Look, I'm just not used to seeing outrageous weapons, in a school even more so."

"You don't have weapons in school back on your planet?" Blake asked.

"Uh, nope. Weapons are looked down upon. And we had an age of swords and knives and stuff, but then we got guns. What you do, is just put them together to create a killing machine." Y/N said.

"Oh. It's natural to be scared. I want you to trust us. You're a part of our team now. We'll protect you." Blake said.

"Thanks, Blake. I'll get used to it sooner or later." Y/N said.

"It's Friday. Maybe we should show him around Vale tomorrow." Ruby said.

"Good idea, he can get a grasp of the city." Blake said.

"He also needs a weapon. He won't go anywhere in Beacon without a weapon." Weiss said.

"Hey. Can you guys give me a minute? I'm being bombarded with thoughts and ideas and it's too much to take in at once. Can you give me a minute to collect everything that's happened in the past 4 hours?" Y/N asked holding his forehead.

"Oh, I'm sorry. Sure, go ahead. We have to go get our scrolls, we'll be back in a minute." Ruby said. The four of them walked out of the room. Y/N sighed and paced the floor.

"I died. I met God. I am now on a new planet like Earth, but with large ass monsters. I am at a school for killing these monsters called Beacon Academy. I'm in a team with 4 girls with weapons that could kill me easily. Yeah. A big change to what I was used to on Earth." He took another big breath and sat on the floor.

"I guess I gotta get used to it. The hardest part to get used to is the weapons." Y/N said.

A knock came to the door.

"Excuse me? Is This team RWBY's dorm?" A female voice spoke through.

"Oh. Yes! Come in." Y/N Said standing up. The red haired girl, Pyrrha came in with Jaune, Ren, and Nora. Jaune has blonde hair. Ren had short black hair, and Nora, short orange hair. Pyrrha looked to be well suited for battle having somewhat of a Roman princess armor on.

"I wanted to come by and see you and welcome you to Remnant." Pyrrha Said.

"As well as the rest of us." Jaune said.

"Thanks guys. I appreciate it. Really. I remember you from the ceremony. My name is Y/N L/N by the way. It's great to meet you." Y/N smiled at them.

"If you ever need help, just tell us, or your team. Alright?"

"I will Pyrrha. Thank you."

"We are right in front of your dorm if you need us." Ren said walking out.

"Have a great night." Y/N said as they walked back into their dorm. Y/N closed the door to his dorm.

After a little while, the team came in.

"We're back." Yang said.

"Good. I met team JNPR while you were out and I collected my thoughts."

"I'm glad." Ruby said.

"Now, if it's okay with you, we can go to Vale tomorrow and walk around, maybe get you a weapon." She added.

"That would be nice, first, I got to get my supplies from my teachers in the morning."

"That's fine." Blake said.

"Now, we have to get dressed in our pajamas. So, get out!" Weiss snapped at Y/N. Y/N walked outside the dorm and Weiss slammed the door shut. Y/N sighed.

"I am in a team with a bunch of girls it seems." Y/N facepalmed and chuckled a little bit.

"What dumb luck I got." He added. After a while, Ruby opened the door.

"You can come in now." She smiled. She seemed like a really nice and pure girl. Y/N walked in.

"So, how old are you guys? It's, kinda hard to tell." Y/N scratched the back of his head.

"Well, most of us are 17. But the dolt here is 15." Weiss said pointing at Ruby.

"Oh, you got in the academy early?" Y/N asked.

"I stopped a robbery at a dust shop and I was found by Glynda and then Ozpin let me in." Ruby said.

"Dust...?" Y/N was confused. Weiss started rummaging through her suitcase. Ruby facepalmed.

"Please don't get the pamphlet Weiss." She said in disappointment.

"No, I must!" Weiss exclaimed. She gave him a pamphlet called Dust for Dummies. Y/N laughed

"Back on my planet, we had books like this." He said. Y/N skimmed through it. It seems Weiss is the heiress to a company that sells and distributes dust. Dust is like element crystals on this planet. Fire crystals use fire powers. Lightning crystals can help with electricity. So on and so forth with the other element crystals. They can be used to power weapons and ammo as well. That's how Weiss shielded Ruby from the Scorpion with that ice wall.

"Thanks, Weiss." He handed the pamphlet back. She put it away.

"With that outta the way, there's something I want to talk about." Blake said.

"What is it Blake?" Ruby asked.

"You do realize that we have 1 guy in a room of 4 girls, right?" Blake said.

"Good call, Blake. How can we trust him not to do anything to us when we sleep?" Weiss asked, folding her arms.

"Come on guys. What could he possibly do?" Ruby asked with a shrug.

"You're such an innocent child, Ruby!" Weiss snapped and facepalmed.

"I'm gonna be honest with you. I'm more scared of you guys than you are of me. I'd rather NOT get near you. No offense." Y/N said.

"None taken. It's only natural." Blake said.

"Well, with that outta the way, we have one more problem." Ruby said.

"What's that?" Yang asked.

"Where's he gonna sleep?" She asked.

"Oh... right. We have 4 beds." Yang Said. (This is all before they make the bunk beds)

"He can sleep outside!" Weiss suggested angrily.

"Ouch. A bit harsh." Y/N said.

"No, Weiss. I'm not letting a teammate of mine sleep outside." Ruby retaliated.

"Hmph." Weiss grunted.

"Wait, Ruby, are you a leader by any chance?" Y/N asked.

"Yeah, I'm the leader of team RWBY. That's why the R is first." Ruby said.

"Oh, and so Jaune is the leader of JNPR?" He asked.

"Yep!" Ruby said.

"Now back to the matter at hand. He needs somewhere to sleep." Blake said.

"Hold on. Be right back." Y/N walked outside the door and went over to JNPR's dorm. He knocked and Ren came to the door.

"Hello Y/N. What brings you at such a late hour?" Ren asked.

"I'm so sorry to bother you, but do you have any sleeping bags by any chance? My team has 4 beds and well, you know, I have nothing to sleep on. Weiss wanted me to sleep outside." Y/N Said. Ren laughed.

"I think we have a spare sleeping bag. Jaune! Can you get the sleeping bag for Y/N please?" Ren asked Jaune.

"Yep!" Came a voice in the back of the room. A sleeping bag was tossed and Ren caught it. He handed it to Y/N.

"Thanks Ren. It means a lot." Y/N said.

"No problem. Have a great night." He said.

"You too." Y/N replied. He went back to his dorm holding the sleeping bag.

"Good to have people in this school to go to." Y/N said happily. He rolled it out by the door.

"I'll be sleeping by the door, away from you guys. I'm getting up early tomorrow to see my teachers for supplies. You'be already done that when you got your scrolls." Y/N said.

"Then we can go to Vale when you wake up." He added.

"I'm excited." Ruby said.

"Crap!" Y/N shouted.

"What!?" Weiss asked surprised.

"I left my money at home... and even if I brought it, it wouldn't work. I was hoping to buy a weapon and some new clothing." He said, sad. Then, a beep came to his scroll.

"Huh?" He looked at it. It had a balance.

"No way." It had a balance of 1,000,000 Lien.

"God, you son of a gun. I love you." Y/N murmured while looking up to the ceiling. All Y/N needed to do is go to a store and transfer his electronic balance into physical Lien.

"Never mind. Problem averted." Y/N said happily. He set his scroll down.

"Oh I almost forgot." He pulled his phone and charging equipment out of his pocket. He found the outlet next to his bag and plugged it in. Sure enough, it worked.

"Hey, Y/N." Ruby said coming up to him.

"Yeah, what's u...pfp!" Y/N started to say when a pillow hit him straight in the face, making him fall to the floor. Ruby busted out laughing along with the rest of the team.

"That's your pillow for the night." She said.

"Thanks, And ouch." Y/N said jokingly. Everyone shared a good laugh. Then they turned out the lights.

"Night team." Ruby said everyone shared good nights and they drifted to sleep.

Y/N on the other hand, woke up around midnight. He got up and walked to the window. He opened the blinds, letting the moonlight shine through. He saw the moon. He couldn't believe what he was seeing. The moon was shattered. Two thirds of the moon was whole, while the other third was in large chunky pieces next to the moon. He looked into the stars while leaning on the low bookshelf. He couldn't help but think...

"Y/N?" He heard a voice.

"Can't sleep?" Y/N looked to his left to see Ruby in her bed, awake.

"Not really. Everything is so different here. You know?" Y/N asked.

"I kinda get what you mean. I skipped 2 years of Signal Academy, my high school. I had to leave my friends to come to Beacon, the school I wanted more than anything to go to. Now that I'm here, everything is different. Everyone is older and more mature than I am. I also have to cram so much more work now." Ruby said, sitting up in her bed.

"I'm sorry."

"No. Don't apologize. It's fine. Really." Ruby smiled.

"I know I am going to do great things here. I have my older sister and new teammates to have my back. I want you to feel that way too. I have your back as well as Yang, Weiss, and Blake. Even JNPR has your back. I want you to know you're welcome here, Y/N." Ruby smiled.

"Thanks Ruby." Y/N Said. He was taken back by what she said. But it made him realize that he has teammates now. He has people to help him.

"Good night, Y/N." Ruby said, laying back down.

"Night, Ruby." He said walking to his sleeping bag and going back to sleep.
