(I'm here with another chapter. Hope everyone enjoys.)

The rest of the week was really easy to go through. It was just extra work and not much else to do. It was finally Friday afternoon and Weiss wanted to go around Vale. Team RWBY+_ went on the bullhead down to Vale. As they were walking down the streets, Weiss was acting strangely happy. This was a rare sight to see. There were festive balloons and banners everywhere.

"The Vytal festival! Oh this is absolutely wonderful!" Weiss said happily.

"I don't think I've ever seen you smile this much, Weiss." Ruby said.

"It's kinda weirding me out." Y/N followed.

"How could you not smile? A festival dedicated  to the cultures of the world. There will be dances, parades, a tournament. Oh the amount of planning and organization that goes into this event is simply breathtaking." Weiss explained. Yang crossed her arms.

"You really know how to take a good thing and make it sound boring." Yang Said.

"I can agree to that." Y/N added.

"Quiet you." Weiss said. A ship horn blew from the docks.

"Remind me again why we're spending our Friday afternoon visiting the stupid docks?" Yang asked, bored. Ruby and Y/N held their noses.

"Ugh, they smell like fish." They both said at the same time.

"I've heard that students visiting from Vacuo will be arriving by ship today, and as a representative of beacon, I feel as though it is my solemn duty to welcome them to this fine kingdom." Weiss said. They walked a little more.

"She wants to spy on them so she can have the upper hand in the tournaments." Blake said.

"Ah, you can't prove that!" Weiss scoffed. Ruby turned to her right to see a store closed off by police tape.

"Whoa." Ruby said. Everyone walked over. The place was trashed. Two police guards stood there looking at the damage and jotting notes down. Y/N looked at their badges. They read, 'Actually Useful'.

"What happened here?" Ruby asked with a frown.

"Robbery. Second dust shop to be in this week. This city is turning into a jungle." One of the officers said.

"Ugh... that's terrible." Yang Said.

"Yeah. I hate seeing bad things happen to good people." Y/N Said.

"Hey. They left all the money again." The other officer said.

"Huh?" Ruby looked at the officers.

"Man, this doesn't make a lick of sense. Who needs that much dust?" The other officer continued.

"I dunno an army?"

"I'm thinking the white fang?"

"Yeah I'm thinking we don't get paid enough."

"Hmph. The white fang. What an awful bunch of degenerates." Weiss said.

"What's your problem?" Blake asked.

"My problem. I simply don't care for the criminally insane." Weiss said.

"The white fang is hardly a bunch of psychopaths. They are a collection of misguided Faunus." Blake argued back.

"Misguided? They want to wipe humanity off the face of the planet."

"So then they're very misguided. Either way, it doesn't explain why they would rob a dust shop in the middle of downtown Vale."

"Hmm. Blake's got a point. Besides, the police never caught that Torchwick guy I ran into a few months ago. Maybe it was him." Ruby stated.

"Hmm. If it was a crook, that makes sense. Question. What do the police do here anyways? If we have protectors like huntsman and huntresses, then why have the police?" Y/N asked.

"To put the criminals behind bars, to stop small crimes, theft. Stuff like that. Also law stuff." Ruby answered.

"Oh. Okay."

"That still doesn't change the fact that the white fang are a bunch of scum. Those Faunus only know how to lie, cheat, and steal." Weiss said.

"That's not necessarily true..." Yang Said.

"HEY! STOP THAT FAUNUS!" A man yelled from the boat. Everyone ran back to the docks. Then, a blonde haired boy with a monkey tail ran off the boat.

"Thanks for the ride guys. Hehe." The boy hung from a light post from his tail.

"You no good stowaway!" The man from the boat yelled. The boy started peeling a banana.

"Hey! A no good stowaway would get caught. I'm a great stowaway." The boy said.

"Get down from there this instant." The man said under the monkey Faunus. The boy threw his banana peel on the guy's head. He was mad. He ran up the docks and the guards followed him. He ran passed Blake with a wink and turned the corner.

"Whoa.. a monkey Faunus. Interesting." Y/N Said.

"Well, Weiss, you wanted to see the competition, and there it goes." Yang Said.

"Quick! We have to observe him!" Weiss said, running to chase the Faunus down. Everyone followed. After Weiss turned the corner, she ran into someone, knocking both of them down. Weiss looked up to see the monkey Faunus flee from the guards.

"No, he got away!" Weiss whined.

"Uhhhh, Weiss..." Yang pointed at the girl who was knocked down by Weiss. The girl had orange hair, green eyes, and a pink bow. She looked kinda futuristic in a way. Weiss looked at the girl and she got up in shock.

"Sal-U-Tations!" The girl on the ground said, holding her hand up.

"Umm... Hello." Ruby said. Y/N didn't say anything.

"Are you.... okay?" Yang asked.

"I'm wonderful! Thank you for asking." The girl said. Everyone looked at each other, then back at the girl.

"Do you.... wanna get up?" Yang asked.

".... Yes!" She then hopped up with ease. Everyone took a step back.

"My name is Penny! It's a pleasure to meet you." She greeted.

"Hi, Penny. I'm Ruby."

"I'm Weiss."

"Blake."

"Are you sure you didn't hit your head?" Yang asked. Blake hit Yang.

"Oh, I'm Yang." She quickly restated.

"Name's Y/N." He said.

"It's a pleasure to meet you." Penny Said again.

"You already said that" Weiss told her.

"So I did."

"Well, Sorry for running into you!" Weiss apologized.

"Take care, friend." Ruby said.

"Yeah, See ya, friend." Y/N Said. Everyone walked away from her.

"She was.... weird" Yang Said.

"Now! Where did that Faunus riff-raff run off too?" Weiss asked before being face to face with Penny again.

"What did you call me?" Penny asked. Weiss had an expression of disbelief. As she was wondering how the heck Penny got there faster than anyone else.

"Oh, I'm sorry! I didn't think you could hear me!" Yang apologized.

"No. Not you.... You." Penny walked to the back of the team where Y/N and Ruby were.

"Me?" They Said at the same time.

"You both called me friend! Am I really your friend?" Penny asked.

"Uhhh." Ruby was thinking. She looked at her friends to see them signaling an obvious, 'NO'.

"Sure! Why not." Y/N Said. Everyone fell to the ground in disappointment.

"Sen-Sational! We can paint our nails, and try on clothes, and talk about cute boys!" Penny Said, happily. Ruby turned to Weiss, who was dusting herself off.

"Is that what I was like when you met me?" Ruby asked.

"No. She seems far more coordinated." Weiss said.

"So, what are you doing in Vale?" Yang asked.

"I'm here to fight in the tournament." Penny stated.

"Wait...You're fighting in the tournament?" Weiss asked.

"I'm combat ready!"

"Forgive me, but you hardly look the part."

"Says the girl wearing a dress." Y/N roasted.

"It's a combat skirt!" Weiss crosses her arms, defending herself. Ruby ran to the side of Weiss.

"Yeah!" Ruby gave Weiss a low-five.

"Wait a minute, if you're here for the tournament, does that mean you know that monkey-tailed rapscallion?" Weiss asked Penny.

"The Who?" Penny asked, confused. Weiss pulled up a badly drawn picture of the monkey Faunus they saw earlier.

"The filthy Faunus from the boat!" Weiss yelled.

"Why do you keep saying that?!" Blake asked. She seemed mad.

"Huh?"

"Uh oh..Hey uh, look... Penny, was it? You might want to leave. Things are about to get bad. It's for your sake." Y/N said to the girl. Penny nodded took her leave.

"Stop calling him a rapscallion! Stop calling him a degenerate! He's a person!" Blake said.

"Oh, I'm sorry. Would you like to stop referring to the trash can as a trash can? Or this lamp post as a lamp post?" Weiss argued.

"Stop it!"

"Stop what? He clearly broke the law. Give him time. He'll probably join up with those other Faunus in the white fang."

Blake clenched her fists.

"You ignorant little brat!" Blake walked away.

"How dare you talk to me li....." Weiss followed.  They argued all the way back to the dorm. And they still argued in the dorm. It was giving Y/N a headache.

"I don't know why this is causing such a problem!" Weiss continued. Y/N, Ruby, and Yang just watched this argument.

"That is the problem."

"You realize you're defending organization that hates humanity, don't you? The Faunus of the white fang are pure evil."

"There's no such thing as pure evil! Why do you think they hate humanity so much? It's because of people like Cardin. People like you, that force the white fang to take such drastic measures!"

"People like me?"

"You're discriminatory!"

"I'm a victim! You want to know why I despise the white fang? Why I don't particularly trust the Faunus? It's because they've been at war with my family for years. War... as in actual bloodshed. My grandfather's company has had a total target painted across its back for as long as I can remember. And ever since I was a child, I watched family friends disappear, board members executed, an entire train car full of dust stolen. And every day, my father would come home furious, and that made for a very difficult childhood." Weiss slammed her hand into the low bookcase. Ruby came over to comfort Weiss. Weiss turned away, back to Blake.

"No! You want to know why I despise the whi—"

"EVERYONE, SHUT UP!!" Y/N yelled, interrupting the conversation. Everyone stopped talking and turned to Y/N with surprised eyes. Y/N held his temples with his fingers.

"You're giving me a freaking headache with your nonsensical arguments."

"What?! How dar—"

"I don't wanna hear it. Weiss, I understand that you feel hatred towards the Faunus for mistreating your family and being at war with you. Blake I get that the Faunus are so mistreated that they have to go with violence to show that they need respect. But what is going to be gained from this argument? Does it matter. I believe everyone is equal. I had the same problem on my planet. Just... knock it off." Y/N Said. He has had it. He was tired. He was done.

"They're still a bunch of terrorists!" Weiss said.

"WELL, MAYBE WE WERE TIRED OF BEING PUSHED AROUND!" Blake yelled as everyone went wide eyed. Blake confessed that she was not only a Faunus, but a member of the white fang.

"I...." Blake then ran out the door.

"Blake!!" Ruby tried to run.

"Leave her be... She needs some time to be alone and think. We'll search for her tomorrow." Y/N Said. Everyone then went to bed. Blake ran off to Vale with the monkey Faunus.
