(KEPT YOU WAITING, HUH!! YES. I'M FINALLY BACK AFTER SO LONG. I'm sorry it's been a while since I've done a chapter. I have been dealing with college work and other stuff. I've been watching other anime and playing games too. But, it's almost time for everything to start going downhill. I'm excited. I have a good plot in mind and it's going to be extra cool. Well, let's get this shit started, shall we?)

The morning sun broke through the windows once more as the rays of light hit Y/N's eyes perfectly, waking him.

"Jeez... Why is it that I have to wake up first? Oh right, I sleep on the floor." Y/N got up from his sleeping bag and stretched, yawning in the process. Next came a very young and feminine yawn from the top left bunk, which could only mean that Ruby was awake. Y/N snickered to himself and tiptoed over to her bunk.

"Psst.. Ruby, you up?" He whispered.

"Mhmm." She sounded half asleep. She lifted the curtain to her bed and rubbed her eyes, her hair all messy from sleeping. She was wearing her usual pajamas.

"Morning, sleepy head." Y/N smiled at her.

"Morning, silly...whoaaAAAAA" She started to get out of her bed, but lost her footing, falling on top of Y/N. The boy opened his eyes a couple seconds later to see the girl on him as they were on the floor. Not only did he see Ruby, but he also saw probably the most horrifying thing in existence: An Angry Yang. She pulled her foot back.

"Oohhhh Shi-"

(SMALL BLACKOUT LATER)

Y/N was sitting on the floor next to Ruby. Yang was standing in front of them with her arms crossed and an angry expression.

"Can you please explain why my little sister was on top of you? You better give a good reason or things are going to not be okay for you."

"It was an accident! I swear! She fell out of her bed!" Y/N tried to save himself.

"Yeah, I slipped when I was getting out of my bed and I fell on him. Please don't be mad at him! It was my fault, not his." Ruby defended Y/N. Yang dropped her arms and sighed.

"Good. I thought you were trying to pull something on my sister." Yang smiled. After a while, everyone else woke up. The next battle was going to start soon so everyone got dressed.

"Alright, everyone. Are we ready to go?" Yang asked team RWBY+_. Y/N and Ruby looked at each other.

"I.. would like to... uh... a-announce something." Ruby stammered, hanging her head down. She was sweating nervously. Everyone turned to her. Y/N was right next to her, smiling.

"What is it, Ruby?" Yang asked.

"I... I.. uhh. Y/N a--" Y/N noticed that Ruby was having trouble. He held her hand and smiled, looking at everyone. Ruby looked at him.

"R-Ruby and I are dating." Y/N said plainly. Yang smiled.

"Ruby, you got a boyfriend before I did? Totally not fair." She said.

"Yang, we talked about it before it happened. Don't act like you didn't already know." Ruby said.

"Congratulations, you two." Blake smiled at the two children.

"I hate to say it, but you two make a great couple." Weiss crossed her arms.

"Thanks, guys." Ruby said cheerfully.

"You guys head on to the bullheads and wait for us, I'd like to speak with Y/N first." Yang said walking over to Y/N. Everyone else walked out the door. Y/N ruffled Ruby's hair.

"I'll see you in a bit, Ruby." Y/N said waving her off.

"Alrighty!" Ruby ran out to join the rest of her team.

"So, it seems last night went well then?" Yang asked, starting the conversation.

"Yeah. I'm happy. I've liked her for a while now. It feels good to, y'know, be with her officially. She's like the perfect girl in my eyes. She makes my heart burn with a fiery passion. She just pulls those strings, y'know?" Y/N explained. Yang giggled.

"Awe, how cute. I believe you two will be great together. Now, being the older sister, I'm going to have to give you the talk. Couple things... 1. Do not hurt her in any way, shape, form, or fashion. I will hunt you down and strip you limb from limb. 2. Do not do anything sexual with her. You are both fifteen years old and too young to do anything like that. Ruby isn't into anything like that either. She gets grossed out by that stuff. Don't try anything. 3. Protect her. Keep her safe." Yang explained.

"Is that all?" He asked.

"That's all there is to it. Just, show her a good time and take things slowly." She smiled and held her hand up. Y/N high fived her.

"Thanks, Yang." He said. The two walked down to the bullheads to meet up with the crew.

"Everyone ready to go?" Yang asked the crew.

"Actually... hold on a sec. I'll meet you guys there, alright? I have something to do." Y/N Said to them, waving them off. Ruby ran to him and hugged him from behind. He looked back and ruffled her hair, hugging her back afterwards.

"Don't worry, I'm going to pay a visit to someone and get something. I like you, Ruby." Y/N said. Ruby let go and smiled.

"I l-like you too, Y/N." Y/N walked to the other bullhead that was headed to downtown Vale. He got on, the bullhead lifting off the ground, flying down to the city. Once he got to Vale, he went to the Weapons and Weapons Accessories store. He walked in, smell of iron and gunpowder clouded Y/N's nose.

"Oi, Iwai, you here?" He asked out loud. The man sat up from his lounging behind the counter.

"Well, I'll be damned. It seems you came back. What're you up too?" He asked putting his magazine down. He had a small smirk on his face with the usual lollipop.

"Vytal festive is in town and so I thought I could spend my time trying to stock up and upgrade before classes start back up again." Y/N explained, putting his sword on the counter carefully. Iwai picked it up and unsheathed it.

"Hmm, you kept good care of it, huh? Not bad." He said, inspecting the blade.

"Of course. I need to keep a blade well cleaned and sharp."

"Where's Ruby at?"

"Oh, she's at the tournament. Did you know that she and I are together now?"

"Hmph, look at you, big shot. So what are you looking for?" He asked. Y/N slapped a piece of paper on the counter. Iwai looked at it.

"Ah, some mods? That shouldn't be hard to do." Iwai said with his small smirk.

"How much'll it cost?"

"Hmm, 100,000 lien should be enough." He answered, holding out his hand. Y/N handed Iwai the lien card.

"How long'll it take?"

"Not very long. I'm pretty good at what I do, so it shouldn't take too long."

"I was thinking about hitting up the bakery to grab a bite, think you'll be done by the time I get back? I'm pretty hungry."

"Most likely. See you in a bit, kid."

"Alright!" Y/N walked out of the store and walked down to Ignis's bakery. He found the store and the bell jingled when he walked in, the smell of fresh baked goods overpowering the previous smell of iron and gunpowder. There in the kitchen, stood the man, the myth, the legend, Ignis.

"Ah, what a pleasant surprise. How are you, Y/N?" Ignis greeted with delight.

"I'm doing great, Ignis. Can I get the usual?"

"I'm on it! And where is Miss Rose?" Ignis prepared to make cookies.

"She's at the Vytal Festival Tournament. Oh! While you're at it, can you make a batch for her and put it in like a present bag of some sort?"

"Ah, do you have the sweets for Miss Rose?"

"We are actually together. We got together recently and I know I'm happy about it. She is too."

"That's wonderful!! Congratulations. I'll make her cookies on the house." He got right to making more cookies. He and Y/N sat and talked while the cookies were baking. After a while of waiting and talking, they were done. Ignis got up and got them out to cool. He then put half of them in a bag, and the other half of them into a small red box with a ribbon.

"Thanks for coming by, Y/N. Tell Miss Rose I said hello." Ignis waved to Y/N as he left the store to go back to Iwai's. After the walk back to the store, Y/N went in, the bell jingling.

"Ah, just in time, kid. The mods are complete." Iwai said, putting the sheathed sword on the counter. The blade to the sword was more defined and had weird symbols and runes on the side. Y/N grinned eagerly.

"Thanks again for the help, Iwai."

"No problem, kid. Now get out and go to the tournament and see your girl." Iwai said getting back into his lounging position with his magazine. Y/N left the store and walked to the nearest bullhead. It took him to the colosseum. He looked for his team until he found them. He sat next to Ruby and tapped her shoulder.

"Im back. Sorry if I took too long." Y/N said to Ruby, holding out the small red box.

"Ooh, whats this?" She asked curiously, holding the box.

"A little gift from Ignis and I." Ruby opened the box to find a bunch of chocolate chip cookies. Her eyes went up in sparkles as she ate them. After she finished them, she gave Y/N a hug in happiness.

"Thanks so much, Y/N!!" She smiled.

"It's no problem at all." Y/N said hugging her back.

"Where are Yang and Weiss?" He asked.

"Oh! Theyre up next!! They are going up against..."

"...Flynt Coal and Neon Katt!" Professor Port on the intercom finished Rubys sentence. Just then, Yang and Weiss appeared on the arena floor.

*To Weiss and Yang*

Out of nowhere, a long, fast streak of rainbow flew past the two fighters, only to stop beside another snazzy looking gentlemen. The rainbow settle to show a very... bright... girl on roller skates. She had a cat tail.

"Hey!" The man tried to get Weiss's attention. She turned her head to him quickly.

"You're Weiss Schnee, right? The Heiress." He continued with a sarcastic tone.

"Yes, I am." Weiss smiled.

"I take it you're pretty good with dust then?"

"I do my best."

"Yeah. My Dad was good, too. Owned a little dust shop of his own... Until your Father's company ran him out of business." His happy face turned into a sour, angry face.

"Oh... I'm.. sorry to hear that."

"Sure you are."

"Hey! Why don't you--!" Yang tried to butt in.

"--Hey! Why don't you! That's what you sound like!" The other girl said rudely to Yang.

"uhh."

"Hey! Where did you get your hair extensions?"

"This is just my normal hair."

"Jeez, the fight hasn't even started and they're arguing. C'mon." Y/N said to himself.

"You should try roller blading sometime. It's like super fun. It might take a while for you though, since you're... you know, top heavy" Yang looked down at her chest.

"Excuse me?!" She retorted in anger.

"Oh my God that is so priceless!" Y/N was laughing his ass off.

"Oh here we go." Ruby sighed. The arena changed to the same one that Coco and Yatsuhashi were on.

BEGIN!

Flynt blew into his trumpet weapon with a great amount of force, sending somehow visible soundwaves at the two girls. As they get hit with it, they were being forced back. Weiss used her glyph to keep her in place as Yang was rushed and pushed back by Neon. It was now Weiss vs Flynt. Weiss ran forward at Flynt. He blew another loud sound out of the trumpet. Weiss used her glyphs to keep her to the ground as she steadily, but slowly, got closer to him. After the blast ended, she charged at him only to get roundhouse kicked into a magma crystal. Yang was trying her best to shoot Neon which wasn't going so well. Neon was basically going Tony Hawk Pro Skater on Yang's ass with roller blades. She kept dodging the shots Yang put out and started doing flurries of attacks on her. Then, she cracked her nun chucks and they turned blue. She smacked Yang in the leg, freezing it.

"Hey, now you're bottom heavy too!" Neon taunted. Yang stomped her foot, breaking the ice. Neon then hit her in the arm, freezing it as well.

"You should chill out, you know, because you're angry." Neon continued to taunt Yang as she broke the wall behind her. Weiss summoned 4 shards of ice and launched them at Flynt. He then used a magma geyser to melt the ice shards.

"Too bad all that money can't buy you skill." He roasted the fuck out of Weiss.

"DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMNN!! I like that guy." Y/N was losing it laughing. Weiss got really mad. She then summoned a number of glyphs surrounding Flynt. Each shot a number of ice shards, hitting him simultaneously. He then split into four separate people of a different tie and hat color. He did a giant blast, sending Weiss far away.

"You know, you're actually kind of pretty when you're angry." Neon teased.

"Shut up, SHUT UP, SHUT UP!!" Yang blasted herself forward. Weiss tried to reach for her rapier, but Flynt put his foot on it and looked over to Neon who was still messing with Yang.

"I wasn't saying you should go on a diet. I was saying you really need to go on a diet." Neon said rolling around Yang. Flynt split into four again only for Weiss to tackle him into a magma geyser, trying to eliminate herself and Flynt at the same time. Flynt stood up out of the smoke. He was still in it. How? Y/N looked over at Yang, who was really furious. She then activated her semblance and started to go at it.

"Oh somebody turn on some sweet Black fucking Sabbath. GO YANG!!!!" Y/N yelled from the stands, cheering Yang on. Yang shot at Neon and Flynt. Flynt blew his trumpet, boosting neon forwards and Yang backwards. Yang shot backwards to propel herself back to Neon. They exchanged a couple blows and Yang jumped into the air, shooting the ground to try and trip Neon. Yang went flying at Flynt as he split into four again. She kept shooting the air backwards to get closer to him. She got close enough and held the end of the trumpet, causing a backfiring effect to Flynt, sending him flying away. He was eliminated. Neon was trying to keep her composer as she skated, but she ended up tripping and rolling into a water geyser. Yang shot the air and the shot hit Neon, eliminating her from the match. The winner was Yang Xiao Long and Weiss Schnee. She ran over to Weiss, who was covered in ash to check and see if she was okay. Ruby and everyone from the team cheered for Yang and Weiss's win. After the match was over, Y/N got up from his seat. Ruby looked at him.

"Where are you going?" She asked curiously.

"Oh, You'll see in a little bit." Y/N smirked.
