It was early morning, and Jungkook stood in the middle of a forest, the same from his dream. The memories of this forest still haunted him. He can never forget that day, no matter how hard he tries to forget it.

Jungkook looked around, and the past events flooded his mind, "You made me like this," he whispered, his voice shaky.

He paused, the memories of his Hyung's smile and his laugh flashing in his mind. A smile that once made him feel at ease.

"You took everything from me," he swallowed hard, the lump in his throat making it difficult to speak.

"You made me doubt everything, Hyung. You made me doubt myself," he continued, his voice barely above a whisper, "Am I not worthy of anyone's love? Can I ever trust anyone again?"

He thought of Taehyung- how that boy had been trying to get close to him, trying to break the walls he had built around himself.

"I don't know if I will ever be able to trust someone again," he said, his voice filled with sadness, "And that's because of you."

"I want to trust him, Hyung," Jungkook whispered, tears streaming down his face, "But how can I when I still can't forget the pain you left for me."

Jungkook was broken in many ways. He was just not mourning for the death of his Hyung but also for the person he used to be before everything happened.

"I'm scared he will betray me like you did," the tears continued to fall but he didn't bother to wipe them, "I'm afraid to care, afraid to trust others.

"I don't want to be like this anymore," he mumbled, "I too need people in my life. Is that too much to ask for?"

Jungkook stood there for some more time, crying his heart out. He gets this dream often, and always, all the memories are refreshed.

After a while, he turned to leave the forest. Today, he had to visit the royal palace. Even though he didn't care about the formalities, it was also not something he could avoid.

Jungkook took the turn to his castle as he had some records to look at first. Just as he was about to enter the castle, someone caught his eye.

Jury stood outside the castle. Her arms crossed as she leaned over a stone pillar. Jungkook was not surprised to see her there as she, most of the time, talked with him there only.

Jungkook thought to ignore her and walk by side but Jury was fast enough to block his way.

"Where have you been these days?" Jury said, her eyes narrowing.

Jungkook took a deep breath to calm himself, "And how should that concern you?"

Jury's lips curled into a smile, "We live under the same roof, so isn't it natural for me to ask you this question when I barely see you around."

"I said it shouldn't be your concern. Don't act like you care," Jungkook said.

Jury laughed, "Care? No, I just wonder what is keeping you busy... or should I say, who?"

Jungkook's expressions darkened immediately, realizing whom she was referring to, "Don't," he said in a cold voice.

Jury chuckled, "I can't ignore the prince's sudden interest in you and... yours also. Jeon Jungkook taking someone to show them the sunrise isn't what people expect... right?"

Jungkook clenched his fists, "Leave him out of this," he warned.

"I'm just curious. You seem to have a soft spot for him," she stated.

Jungkook took a deep breath, "What happens between us shouldn't be your concern."

"You are getting protective... aren't you?" Jury laughed.

Jungkook's eyes flashed with anger as he stepped closer, "I can finish you in the snap of my finger but the only thing that is stopping me are our rules. So better stay away unless you want me to forget all those rules," he said in a dangerous tone.

Without another word, he turned and walked inside the mansion. He knew talking with her would only waste his time. He could feel her eyes on his back but he cared less.

"Time to do your job, Jury," Jury whispered to herself as she watched Jungkook leave.

Jungkook was walking in the royal palace. The prior conversation was still roaming in his mind. He just wanted to go to a place where no one could disturb him. As soon as he entered the palace, he saw Taehyung standing in the courtyard.

Taehyung was standing in the courtyard surrounded by a few servants, ordering them around.

He quickly dismissed the servants when he saw Jungkook who walked past him as if he didn't see Taehyung.

Taehyung quickly walked behind Jungkook, "Wait," he yelled but Jungkook didn't stop. Taehyung fastened his pace to block Jungkook's path.

"What happened," Taehyung said.

Jungkook stopped and glanced at Taehyung, "Taehyung, I'm busy," he said and was about to walk again but Taehyung was fast enough to step in front of him.

"No, you're not. What happened to you?" Taehyung said making eye contact with Jungkook. Jungkook's eyes were so red that Taehyung couldn't help but ask this question.

"It's nothing," Jungkook said.

"Nothing? It doesn't look like that. If you want then I can help you," Taehyung said, concerned.

"I don't need your help," Jungkook stated, "I don't need anyone's help."

Taehyung sighed, "You always say that. You always try to be distant with people but I know you also want to rely on someone. Why are you always so harsh on yourself?"

"Leave it Taehyung," Jungkook muttered, "You won't understand.

Taehyung took a deep breath to calm himself. He held Jungkook's wrist and dragged him towards a room as he saw the servant looking at them.

"You always don't have to fight everything alone," Taehyung said.

"Taeh~," Jungkiok was cut off when Taehyung moved closer and hugged him.

Taehyung wrapped his arms around Jungkook's neck to hug him, "It's okay," he said softly, "You don't have to say anything."

Taehyung started patting his back to calm him. Jungkook wasn't used to this- the comfort and someone being so close. But he eventually began to relax in his touch.

Jungkook hesitantly wrapped his arms around Taehyung's waist, pulling him closer. He rested his head on Taehyung's shoulder.

"I'll tell you when the right time comes," Jungkook whispered.

Taehyung hummed in response and tightened his grip around Jungkook's neck.

"I'll wait," Taehyung whispered back.

Jungkook pulled back slightly, just enough to look at Taehyung's face. Taehyung's eyes were filled with concern and that made Jungkook's heart swell.

"Just wait for the right time and I'll tell you everything," Jungkook whispered. Taehyung nodded his head with an understanding smile.

Jungkook closed the gap between them before Taehyung could even say anything. His lips met Taehyung's in a soft, gentle kiss.

Taehyung froze for a moment but soon melted into the kiss. The kiss was gentle and filled with such emotions that they never said in words.

Jungkook's hands reached to cup Taehyung's cheeks to deepen the kiss, his thumb gently brushing against his skin.

Taehyung responded with equal softness. Their lips moved in perfect sync.

They pulled back after some time, their foreheads still resting together as they both smiled. Jungkook's heart felt lighter than he ever felt before.

"Thank you, Now I know what to do," Jungkook said, his voice barely above a whisper.

"So, you won't ignore me anymore, right?" he asked with a raised eyebrow.

Jungkook shook his head with a smile, "No," he said.

Taehyung smiled widely as he again hugged him in happiness. Jungkook laughed as he hugged him back, feeling as peaceful as he hadn't felt in days.

Jury stood at the end of a secluded forest. Her eyes were cold, staring at the person standing in front of him.

"This is the time to execute our plan," she said in a commanding tone.

"He's becoming an obstacle that needs to be removed. If not then he will cause us many problems," she said, her voice dangerously calm.

Jury smirked, "I can't let anyone ruin my plan."

"If anything goes wrong, then..." she said, gritting her teeth, "You know, I won't let it slide, and if anyone gets in our way, then you know how to handle them."

"Now leave," she ordered.

The figure disappeared into the darkness leaving Jury alone. She stood there, her expressions unreadable. The game had begun and she was determined to win.
