After a few months, Sidd and Kiara grew closer through work. She spent time at his house, for work and for free hours; they went on tours together and had lunch on certain days of the week.
Sidd asked her out on a date, and was hoping to propose to her. He sighed and was sweating. Quickly, he sprayed some deodorant as he saw her appear through the door. He still remembered the date he had with Reem years ago; she still couldn't leave his mind. Kiara reminded him of her by her looks; the same long silky hair and piercing eyes.
Kiara smiled faintly as she sat down at the table. She was wearing a beautiful, ebbing black dress whose sleeves were netted and ran down her arms.
"Hey Sidd,"
"Kiara......" Sidd began and took out a ring box out of his shirt pocket.
"Will you marry me?" He did the cliched kneel and kissed her hand.
Kiara was astonished; she was confused and had a slight strain on her forehead.
"Err...Sidd,"
He looked up expectingly.
She pulled her hand out of his and a tear dropped down her face.
"I can't...."
"Why!" Sidd asked, comforting her.
She began walking around the room slowly.
"Because.... I can only give you sorrow and remind you of your past. Reem was and is your wife."
"How do you know that?" Sidd looked shocked.
"Sidd, what I'm about to tell you might end our friendship..."
"I want to know,"
"A few years ago, I was pregnant, but my husband cheated on me."
"You had a husband?" Sidd looked dismayed.
"He interacted with another woman, so I aborted my child."
Sidd widened his eyes as this was exactly what happened to Reem.
"KIARA SPEAK!"
"And.... I was heartbroken so... I left him."
Sidd pulled her suddenly and his angry eyes stared into hers. His head was almost shaking of fury.
"I changed my identity, my real name is not Kiara, I'm a made up person - I'm actually....."
"ACTUALLY WHAT? KIARA!"
"My name is......"
Sidd's blood pressure was rising.
"Reem." She said quietly.
