Sidd's POV:
I came into the house, it was all silent, except for the rustling of leaves outside. A servant came up to me.
"Sir, madam has left for the doctor sir."
I nodded. I walked up to my bedroom, thinking there was no-one there. Suddenly, I saw Tunisha wandering side to side. She saw me and almost jumped. I eyed her and then ignored her.
"Sidd..." she chased after me. I stopped, my back facing her face.
"What?."
"Look, I know you have some complaints about me but listen....." she tried to fit it all in one breath.
"The truth is.... I've learnt from my mistake. Me and Reem talked today. She let me meet you."
"That's her generosity that you're even standing in our house." He said acrimoniously.
"Sidd.... please just hear me out once." I pitied her innocent voice. I faced her again.
"I want to apologize." She gathered her courage together. "I want to apologize for all those times I've hurt you and your wife, all those times I tried to prove myself better. In the end, I got what I deserved." I looked up at her reminiscent face.
"Regardless of whether I'm alive or dead for you, you still stay in my heart. I remembered you every day; I remembered our short friendship." I suddenly felt a lump in my throat. Maybe she actually had learnt her mistake. I was being too harsh. I stayed silent.
"I know sorry isn't enough. But please; I can do nothing; I have nothing, I own nothing but your renewed friendship with me will help give a fresh start to my new life."
