"Mr Nigam, we were slightly worried about this but...... congratulations, you have a new member joining your family!"
Sidd's worried face somehow transformed into a silly laugh and I was shocked. How? Could it be the consequence of the nights I spent with him? I couldn't help but smile. Sidd helped me get up and he kneeled down to kiss my stomach. "The two most important people in my life," he said.
The news spread quickly around the country and we were receiving many cards and gifts.
It had been 6 months and I had a cute baby bump. Sidd was working on his laptop when he noticed me checking myself out in the mirror. He smiled and came up from behind me.
"How many times will you look at yourself in the mirror baby?"
"I'm getting fatter!"😂
"Hmm, that you are...." he teased.
I looked at him suddenly.
"Okay okay sorry!😂" he said, still laughing.
*phone beeps*
"Hello?" Sidd asked.
"Oh..... hi.....yes....okay sure....yep, be right there."
"Who was it?"
"It was my client. There's the Tez raftaar wrap up party at the Grand Hyatt this evening. I'm gonna have to go baby."
"Awh that's nice, wish I could come."
"No way, you're to rest at home. But babes, there's gonna be a belly dance!" He whispered and winked.
Reem's mouth dropped ajar and she slapped him friendlily on his arm.
"Ouch!" He said😂.
He kissed her on the lips as he left. "Take care!"
"I will," Reem rolled her eyes and smiled. She had such a loving husband.
