Ok, time for some exciting things in the world of Half Wylde! First of all, thank you for your patience as I've been working to get other projects done and off my plate so I could give Wylde Magic the attention it deserves. I am happy to announce that it begins posting next Wednesday!

That's right, Wylde Wednesdays are back ;)

My other bit of Half a Wylde news is that I will be officially editing Half Wylde this year! What you've read so far has all been a first draft, so it really deserves a makeover.

If you've  already seen the announcements from the Wattys, you know what I'm about to say. Half Wylde will be eligible for entering the competition this year! The year I could enter it before, it wasn't quite finished and it only got as far as the short list. But this year I plan on making it the very best it can be. This will probably mean some story changes as I clean it up and make it the best version of itself that I can. The core vibe of the story should stay the same, but some changes will have to be made in order to make it better.

Don't worry, if you want to go back and read it again as it is now, you still have time. I won't be updating it until later in summer once I'm done with all the editing. That way the story isn't odd where I've uploaded the new version but haven't finished with the first version yet.

So, if you have now or have ever had feedback on Half Wylde, tell me now! I could use all the advice o can get!

As an added note, even if I do not win a Watty 2020 on this story, the idea behind this editing is that I can start to query it to publishers. So I either win a Watty, or I take my first steps in the traditional publishing world! (And yes, I'm super nervous either way haha)

Well, I had better get back to work if I'm going to have Half Magic chapter one ready for next week.
