Happy August everyone! This year is kicking my ass. 

But that's true for all of us, isn't it? Let me try to make the rest of this post more positive. 

New in my life: I'm getting it together sort of?

Some of you know I left my full-time work last fall in order to stay home with my kiddo. It's been about a year now, and I'm glad I did it. None of us deserved the stress daycare was creating for us. Now I can stay at home and write and sew while being more involved in his days. After a lot of trial and error, then getting a routine down only to have it shattered when COVID hit, I now have a pretty firm grasp on my days again. 

Actually, that's gotten me to my next point. Have you noticed anything on my writing? The fact that I'm finally catching up on my projects? I'm over the moon to now have few enough unfinished works that they're in a schedule again. I put the schedule in my bio but in case you missed it this is what I'm working with now:

WEDNESDAYS: Wylde Magic updates

EVERY OTHER FRIDAY: Sly updates, then Giving Blood At The Danton Bakery updates, rotating each week

I've finished the other open projects that were overwhelming me, so now I only have these three and it's been going well so far. It's a manageable workload, and I'm no longer stressing that I have so much unfinished work.

This schedule will continue through the end of these projects, and once they are ALL DONE and I have NO BOOKS GOING I will be so happy to announce my next projects. I say projects because I probably can't just do one. I mean, come on. I've never been able to do just one at a time. But I want to do no more than two at once. We'll see if I can keep to that haha. And yes, I'll have to get going on another Dirty Lying Creature , won't I? 

Now, for this 5k followers business. Can I just say holy cow? I can't believe I'm around 100 away. So, as per usual, what do you guys want to see from me as a thank you? Short stories? Bonus scenes? An AMA or something? Hints at my next projects? 

I honestly never imagined reaching these heights, so with every milemarker I feel the need to celebrate like crazy haha. Just give me a shout here and say what you'd like to see.

(and a side note, I never thought I'd say this either but DLF is almost 3/4 of a MILLION reads? I'm going to absolutely die if I reach a million. Y'all know that, right?)
