A Sabezra Continuation

(My version of what should/could have happened in SWR S4 E1)

"Where's your father" Ezra asked, looking at Sabine as her and Rou cross the platforms bridge.

"The outpost is empty" Sabine said. She takes her helmet off. Rou stops behind her.

"There's no one here," she continues, walking to the edge of the platform. She looks mad.

They hear jetpacks, and see Clan Kryze's members fly in. They hover in the air a moment, then decend onto the platform. One of them steps forward.

"This was a trap set to lure you in," the Mandolorian, a she, says. Sabine looks at her, sadness and anger on her face.

"Your mother recieved this intel but she couldn't get word to you." She  continues. "The Empire is jaming all transmissions. She sent me ahead to reinforce you. I understand she's on her way."

Sabine looks at her a little confused.

"Who are you?" She asks.

The female simply takes her helmet off, revealing short, straight red hair, and vibrant green eyes.

Rou looks at Ezra and Kanan.

"Kanan and Ezra, this is Lady Bo Katan of House Kryze. Her sister Satine once ruled Mandalore. Bo Katan was made regent by the jedi before the end of the clone wars. She's still seen as many, as Mandalores rightful ruler."

Sabine looks suprised.

Ezra steps forward and blunty asks, "So, what happened?"

Lady Bo Katan looks at him, and then replies. "After the Empire took over, I refused to obey the Emperor and was betrayed by the Saxon clan."

Sabine looks down at the dark saber in her hand, then up at Bo Katan.

"Your commitment to Mandalore's freedom is legendary My Lady." She walks forward, holding out the dark saber. "This belongs to you." Bo Katan looks away from it, and everyone stares at her for a long moment.

"I had my chance to rule and I failed." She says emotionlessly

Sabine, with very mixed emotions, pulls the saber back.

"I am not my sister." She continues, turning away, and putting her helmet on.

"I am not the leader you seek." Clan Kryze walks away, leaving Sabine holding the saber. She dons a determined face.

"See if you can contact my mother," she asks Rou.

"Right away," he replies, and walk away.

Kanan and Ezra follow, but Ezra stops. He turns around and looks at Sabine, standing on the edge of the high platform by herself, somewhat staring at the dark saber. He walks up to her.

"You know, your home planet is very different from mine." He says. He looks over the dusty, dry plains, comparing it and other things to his home world.

A dry wind blows, and it takes a moment for Sabine to reply.

"One upon a time, these planes were covered in grass; but I never saw it. This destruction happened before I was born."

Ezra asks, "And it never grew back?"

Sabine looks out over the plains. "Never had a chance to. This is what continuous war has done to my home."

"Maybe, maybe this is your chance to help change things here." Ezra says, thinking aloud. He looks at Sabine.

"You heard Bo Katan," she starts. "She dosent want to lead. But neither do I. I may have the dark saber Ezra, but that dosent mean I have to, or want to, rule Mandalore."

"Why not?" He asks, inwardly glad that she didn't want to lead, but still wanting to know why.

"Why not?" Sabine whisperes to the wind, thinking about the question.

"Because of everything that comes with it. Because of what I've already done. Because I know the clans wouldn't follow a traitor." She sniffs, suddenly sad. Ezra notices and walks closer, putting his arm around her waist. She rests her head on his shoulder.

"Even though your fighting with them now, they still wouldn't follow you?" He asked, frowning at his lack of knowledge about everything Mandalorian.

Sabine shakes her head.

"Ezra, dear, I don't want to hurt your feelings, but you know nothing, about Mandalorians," she says, knowing that everything Ezra knew about Mandalorians could fit on her fingertip.

Ezra nods, conceding the statement, smiling at the 'dear'. He stared out over the plains.

"As long as your sure about this desicion." He says, knowing it was a big one. The winds blows, and there are sounds of doors opening and closing.

"I am," Sabine whispers, suddenly sure of herself.

They stayed there for a minute, each in their own thoughts, when Chopper breaks them up, rolling across the platform, telling them to look us, and see the Mandos coming.

Four Mandos fly in, and Sabine and Ezra fall apart and back up. They land, and the front one walks forward, taking her helmet off.

Sabine sighs in relief when she see's who it is.

"Mother, any news?"

Ursa responds worriedly.

"The empires changed their plan. Their moving your father back to the capital for a public termination."

So this is one one shot I've extended. I decided, because it was so short, to do another quick one. Hope you like 'em:)

Ezra finishes knocking out the last Imperials in the transport. He turns around and sees a man handcuffed to a bar.

"Are you with Sabine?" The man asks.

"Yeah I'm with her," Ezra replies in a 'duh' voice. He then realizes what he said and quickly corrects himself.

"Uh-uh, I mean, not with her, with her, I-Im just friends, with her." He blushes under his mask.

Suddenly his comm lights up with Chopper yelling that there's a cliff up ahead.

"A cliff?!" Ezra yells into his com. "What cliff?"

He sticks his head out of the transport to see a cliff approaching at an alarming rate. He comes back in the transport and looks at the prisoner, Sabines father.

"Are you a jedi?" Sabines dad asks.

"Let's hope so!" Ezra says, slicing his handcuffs with his lightsaber.

Suddenly Sabine comms him

"Ezra, get out of there!" She screams desperately.

Ezra shoves the jetpack on Sabine's dad.

"Take this sir!" He says, slightly adjusting it.

"How will you get up?" Her father asks.

"Trust me, I'm better off without it." Ezra replies heatedly.

The transport goes over the cliff.

"NOOO!" Sabine screams, starting to run to the edge, tears streaming. Just before she reaches the edge her father appears, flying over and onto safe ground. Sabine sniffs and reaches the cliff, just in time to se Ezra holding on for dear life.

"Whoa!" He yells, slowly falling. Sabine falls on her stomach, reaching downward.

"Ezra!" She yells. Ezra looks up and gives one last lunge, just able to grab her hand. Sabine strains against gravity to pull Ezra up.

She gets him up and they both collapse, panting. Ezra looks up at her.

"Thank you," He says.

She stares at him.

"Ezra, you may annoy me once and a while, but I'm not going to let you die!"

Ezra grinned, standing up fully.

"Aww, someone cares about me." He smiled.

Sabine didn't smile, but she may have turned a few shades redder. She stood and looked away.

"Some people are worth saving." She walked away, leaving Ezra thoughtless.
