Now that everything was back to normal, Sabine had a question.

Remember, right before they were zapped into the future, Ezra had just mumbled aloud how he wanted to kiss Sabine.

Now it was time for Sabine to mention that.

Sabine and Ezra walked outside, hand in hand.

As they began to walk Sabine turned and looked at him.

"So...you wanted to kiss me?" She said blushing and smiling

Ezra stammered "well I uh...it was of course just a suggestion..it's um...uh...fine if you don't want to I uh..." Ezra stuttered.

Sabine chuckled.

*you must be crazy Ezra. Why would someone as pretty as her wanna kiss you anyway? She probably just did it that one time. I'm surprised she'd even want to be with me. Who am I kidding? I should just apologize and walk away now..* Ezra *thought*

"Ezra.." Sabine said, nearly doubling over laughing.

"You know you're thinking aloud again right?" Sabine said smirking

Ezra turned red once more.

"I-I uhhh...ummm...I'm sorry I just-" Ezra was cutoff by Sabine

"Are you crazy? Ezra I love you and you should know that." Sabine said sweetly.

"And...about..the..uh.." Ezra stammered

"Kiss? Well here's my opinion." Sabine said, and she pulled Ezra into a hug, and kissed him.

*oh my god I'm kissing her again. Yes. Yes YES. I can see how we could get married in the future. Is this for real? Like wow.* Ezra's mind raced with thoughts.

Suddenly Hera, Kanan, Zeb, and chopper came running out shouting.

*imperials! Imperials!*

Ezra and Sabine pulled away quickly and looked around.

A swarm of ships and ties were coming in.

"Hurry!" Hera said running to grab them both "We have to leave now!"

They began to run toward the ship, when suddenly, Sabine tripped on a rock, and twisted her ankle, causing her to fall over.

"Ow!!!" She cried holding her ankle.

There was no way she could run on her own.

Ezra immediately ran toward her, trying to help her get up. Hera came to assist.

"Take her Hera! Quickly!" Ezra shouted. The TIE fighters were firing and Ezra knew that he couldn't run fast enough.

He was almost at the ship.

But that's when the tie struck him.

He flew just a few feet away from the Ghost.

He was unconscious.

Hera and Sabine were halfway up the ramp, but when Sabine saw Ezra, she limped to him.

"EZRA!!! NO!!!!" She cried

She carried him the best she could up the ramp, limping the whole way. Hera got the ship into hyperspace just barely in time.

Sabine held Ezra in the cockpit.

"Ezra!" She pleaded.

"Wake up." Tears escaped Sabines eyes. And Sabine never cried.

Kanan immediately took Ezra into the medical room, but they couldn't do much until they reached the other rebel ships.

Sabine stayed by his side, hoping and praying that he'd make it. That tie had basically struck him full force.

They finally reached the other rebel ships, and got Ezra into the medical bay.

Sabine and the others were pacing outside his door.

Finally the medical droid came out.

Ezra only had a 15% chance of survival.

Tears flooded Sabines eyes, as she ran in to hug him.

"It's all my fault" she sobbed.

"He was only out in the line of Fire because he stopped to save me" she sobbed some more.

Hera, Kanan, and even Zeb were shedding tears. The chance that Ezra would survive this was far to low.

They decided to leave Sabine alone with him. After all, he could take his last breath at any moment.

"Ezra..." Sabine said, through tears.

Her tears landed on Ezra's face. His hands wrre cold as she gripped them.

"Ezra you can't leave me.." she started

His monitor started to read no pulse.

Sabine began sobbing harder than ever, while holding onto Ezra with all her might.

"Ezra NO. You can't leave." She wailed

"I...I need you." She lay her face on his chest.

And she felt it rise.

She immediately pulled away to see what was happening.

And Ezra opened his eyes.

"S-s-sa-Sabine?" He mumbled weakly.

"EZRA!!!!" Sabine shrieked hugging him tightly

"I-I thought I lost you." Sabine said, her tears of sorrow, replaced by tears of joy.

"You can't get rid of me that easily." Ezra said, smiling.

And with that, she learned over, and gave him a kiss.

Boy that was hard to write! More sabezra/kanera stuff will happen next chapter! I just felt like this dramatic climax needed to happen! Did you guys like it? Please comment your thoughts! I'll try and get another chapter out tonight, but if I can it'll be shorter!
