Ezra was pissed. Not at anyone but his own actions

It was supposed to be an easy mission. But it wasn't. The Ghost Crew was assigned to go an imperial controlled planet and steal explosives from the base and bring it back to Yavin 4. The Crew snuck into the base and found the explosives but then a trap was set and multiple stormtroopers came in and surrounded them. They managed to escape the room but the entire base was on them.

They were outside being surrounded by stormtroopers and couldn't find a way out. Sabine had a risky plan to clear a path for them by destroying one of the small radio towers. She managed to do it but one of the pieces fell on her giving her a broken leg and knocking her unconscious.

They were able to make it out alive, but Sabine had a broken leg and was out of action for at least two months.

Ezra, being the overprotective boyfriend he is, didn't know what he was doing and accidentally yelled at Sabine for putting herself in danger making Sabine yell back and starting an argument. They hated fighting but they didn't know they were doing that at the time. Sabine stormed into her room with some sniffles from her crying.

Ezra felt horrible for yelling at Sabine. He meant well but he still shouldn't have yelled at her.

It's been three hours and Sabine hasn't come out of her room and Ezra was getting worried. He hoped Sabine isn't too mad that she doesn't want to see him. He finally gave into his worry and went to knock on the door.

"Sabine?" He called but no reply.

"Sabine, baby, please. I'm sorry I yelled at you. I was out of line for doing that. I was being stupid. Please can you let me in." He said.

He heard movements inside and the door swiftly opened revealing Sabine with her hair a mess and with red eyes from crying. Ezra looked down and saw Sabine wasn't wearing her cast on her foot.

"Sabine! Where's your cast?!" He asked.

"I-I took it off because i-it made you m-mad at me." Sabine said still shaken up about the fight they had getting ready to cry again.

Ezra sighed. "Sabine you need to keep it on your foot so you can heal. I'm not mad at the cast. I was mad because you put yourself in danger. But I'm not made anymore. I made a mistake and I just want to fix it." He said.

Sabine grabbed his arm and limbed her way back into her room. They sat on her bed and that's when more tears came out of her eyes as she cried. "I-I just wanted to help us escape! We were being surrounded! I just wanted to keep everyone safe!" Sabine cried.

Ezra pulled her close to him and let her cry in his chest. "Shh. It's okay. I know that's what you were trying to do. I don't blame you." Ezra said hugging her and playing with her hair.

"Y-You get hurt most of the time on missions and I never yell at you! Every time you end up in the medical bay I'm always scared for you but I never yelled at you! But when I get hurt I get yelled at! I was scared that you were mad at me! What did I do wrong?!" Sabine cried more. Ezra felt more awful than before. He had no idea Sabine would worry this much about him whenever he's hurt. "I'm sorry Sabine. I had no idea you worry this much about me. I feel bad about making you worry. And I'm sorry if I scared you by yelling at you. I promise not to make you worry about me ever. I will always come back to you even when I'm hurt." Ezra said. Sabine looked up at him. "Promise?" She asked. Ezra smiled and wiped the last of her tears from her face. "Promise." He said before gently pulling her face closer to his to give her a long passionate kiss.

Once they part Ezra looked down to her broken leg. "Where'd you put the cast?" He asked. "In the closet." Sabine said. "If I go get it will you put it on?" Ezra asked. Sabine had a light blush in her face as she was about to say something.

"I-I will. Only if you give me another kiss!" She said making Ezra blush a dark red on his face.

"O-Okay! I w-will!" He said flustered making Sabine giggle. They shared another passionate kiss before Ezra went to go get Sabine's cast out of the closet. Once he got it, he gently placed it on Sabine's foot and sat back next to her. Sabine leaned her head on his shoulder and closed her eyes. "I love you Ezra." She said. "I love you too Sabine." Ezra said back kissing the top of her head.
