//Inferno school presentation that I want to do

Today I'm going to present you the book "Inferno" by Dan Brown. This isn't going to be like Anca's presentation with that girl saving the stories continent or like Andrei's with "Mrs. Doubtfire". Mine is actually a point of view about this book.

For the ones who didn't read it or didn't see the movie last October, Inferno is a book that takes place these years. It's about the growth of population that the Earth has and it was inspired by the first chapter of "The Divin Comedy" by Dante Alighieri.

A crazy scientist called Bertrand Zobrist created a virus that would leave only half of the population of this planet alive. The famous book writer Mr. Langdon along with Sienna Brooks, a former doctor in Florence, try to solve the mistery of the virus with the help by Dante's Inferno.

You may ask "Why does Zobrist want to kill half of the people on this planet?" Well, over the years, the population of Earth multiplied by 2. In the XIXth century it was 1 million. In the next 100 years there were 2 million people. And after all these multiplies, MOH (the Mondial Organisation of Health) estimated that by the year of 2050 there would be 9 million lives on this planet. But as fast as we grow our population, some animals dissapear, that means no food, and the drinkable water started being less. That would bring an end to us. If Zobrist's idea was taken like the Black Plague in 1348, what could we do? I asked this to some of my friends a few days ago. One of them said we should move on another planet. But, what if we don't find one? What if the hunger and thirst are here faster? What do we do?

Machiavelli, a historic, said that: "When every corner of the world will be a swarm of people so that they will not be able to live there, nor can go elsewhere ... the world would clean herself alone." Does that mean a new plague will come soon? We don't know for sure yet, but for now we have to hope that we can manage our lives in peace and security and let this problems to the people that can handle them.
