Taehyung sat at the end of the dining table, early in the morning. He quietly drank his porridge, as he glared up at his older brother who sat before him.
"You're making me lose my appetite." Namjoon tilted his head, as a small glare took over his face.
"I've already lost mine, staring at you." Taehyung softly hissed, as he scraped the spoon against the shiny bowl.
"What's your problem?" The elder prince stood up from his seat.
"You." Taehyung spat, as he stood as well. "You don't deserve to be throned."
"Boys." The Queen warned, as she stepped into the sunny room. "Your sister is back now, and that's all that matters, right?"
"Some people think otherwise." Taehyung scoffed under his breath.
Namjoon aggressively pushed his chair back, letting it wrinkle the rug behind it. "I'm heading out of town for a little while." He grabbed his sword, and slid it into its case, which was attached to his belt.
"Don't you want to see your sister when she wakes up?" His mother grabbed a towel to wipe her hand.
"I have the rest of my life to do that." Namjoon muttered, before taking off.
Taehyung pushed the bowl of porridge away from him, before sliding out of his chair. He walked into the accommodations, passing by the guards as he looked for her door.

I let the white sheets brush against my cheek, the warm light from the open window, shone through my room. I thought for a moment, that I could be hallucinating. Jimin swore he'd never let me free.
I knew it was reality, when I saw my young brother walk into my room. I pushed myself off of the bed, but he quickly laid me back down. "Alana, you're badly injured." Taehyung brushed my hair back.
"You shouldn't move."
"Taehyung." I whispered his name as he touched my cheek. "You won't believe what's out there."
"I know, I know." He pulled my head to his chest.
"There's so much chaos and madness out there, and the people are—"
"When I find the guy who did this to you, I'll stick a sword in his chest myself." Taehyung cut me off mid sentence, as his anger took over his thoughts. "Tell me his name, Alana."
I hesitated.
Jimin did help set me free, so shouldn't I do him a favor and keep his identity hidden? In the end, he saved my life so I shouldn't sink to his darkness.
"I don't remember anything." I quietly mumbled.
"You have to remember Alana." Taehyung gently grabbed my shoulders. "What did he look like?"
I described the first person who came to mind, his other friend. "He has ashy blonde hair and a scar below his eye, t-that's all I remember of him."
"Okay, we'll find him." He kissed my forehead. "I promise."
I brought my hands to my lap, nervously playing with my fingers as I just told him a white lie. He could go out there right now, and frame someone innocent, although Yoongi did actually help him.
"Where's Namjoon?" I glanced behind Taehyung.
Taehyung bit the inside of his cheek. "He rode out into the forest, to find your favorite berries." He lied, trying not to hurt my feelings.
"I hope he comes home soon." I stretched my arms, but hissed as my hand felt the cold air.
A worried look was plastered along Taehyung's face as he glanced down at the bandage. "He hurt you badly, didn't he?"
I nodded, hiding my hand behind my back.
"Come on, i'll help you into the sitting area." I put my arm around his shoulder and let him lift me.

Yoongi walked along the dirt, strolling through the village as it was somewhat busy today. Shop owners were trying to sell as much fruit before it the day of coronation, where Namjoon would be throned king.
He snuck an apple behind his back, throwing it over his shoulder to sink his teeth into it. Thief's like him were what market owners worried about. They were all over this part of the village, and it was sometimes difficult keeping an eye on them.
"Jimin-ssi." Yoongi smirked as he saw the younger boy walk towards him. "I thought we couldn't trust that girl, why'd you leave her by herself?"
"I let her go."
"You what?" Yoongi's eyes nearly popped out of their sockets.
"She should be back at the castle now." Jimin lowly muttered as he stole a diamond necklace from a woman's selling stone, and slipped it in his pocket.
"What the hell is wrong with you?" He shouted, but stepped back once Jimin turned to him with anger in his eyes. "aha." Yoongi nervously laughed. "I mean to say, it's your choice."
"You weren't getting any of the money anyways."
Yoongi raised his brow, obviously offended. "Wow, so much for helping you out. So you tortured her just to let her go? What's the point in that."
"There used to be a point." Jimin quietly mumbled.
"To think, we could've been sitting in pile of a million dollars." Yoongi pretended to wipe a tear with his sleeve.
"How do you know she's not going to tell the King and Queen about you?" He lowered a brow.
Jimin looked up at him. "The princess has seen what I can do, so she knows not to do that."
"Gosh, why are you so scary." Yoongi scoffed as he turned his face. "Lighten up a little, there's a new king for you to beat around."
"That fool won't last two seconds sitting in that throne." Jimin cracked his knuckles. "She told me about him."
"Who?" Yoongi lowered his brows. "The princess?"
Jimin nodded.
"He's selfish, and wants the kingdom to himself."
"She's an idiot for going back then." Yoongi shrugs his shoulders.
Jimin licked his bottom lip, as he stared at the dirt beneath him. "Let's go, before they start crowding the streets."
Yoongi followed Jimin to the roof, waiting for the coronation to begin. The streets usually filled up quickly, as people always tried getting the best view of the parade. This one was going to be the biggest celebration in the past fifty years. Everyone's been anticipating what Prince Namjoon would be like.
—
"Where's Namjoon?" The King walked into his younger son's room.
"The maids are dressing him." Taehyung replied as he put his arm through the sleeve of his silk coat.
He wasn't happy about this, and neither was I, but our father was thrilled so we didn't want to ruin it for everyone. I can't believe they're allowing me to attend the coronation, but only under Taehyung's supervision. We would stand along with the other commoners, as i'd be bombarded with questions if we stood near the King and Queen. My father told me not to speak to anyone about the kidnapping.
"Are you ready?" The King smiled as he grabbed both of Namjoon's shoulders.
"I've always been ready." Namjoon nodded.
"That's my boy." His father proudly pulled him into a hug, kissing his head afterwards. "I'm so proud."
—
"Mother said we should go before them, so we can get a nice spot." Taehyung locked his arm around mine as he led me to the front gates.
We all were asked to dress formally, even though we wouldn't be seen by the important people. I had on a dress, my mother sewed herself. Taehyung wore silk along with the sword my father gifted him years ago.
"It's nice outside." Taehyung smiled, swinging our hands back and forth. "Can you walk alright?"
"Yeah." I nod my head, giving him a reassuring smile.
The villagers had already filled most of the area as they made sure that they got a nice view ahead of the coronation. I followed Taehyung to a slightly less crowded area, bowing to the people around us.
We stood together for a little while, watching as the bright fireworks were set off, celebrating the start of the coronation. My lips curved into a faint smile as I gazed up at the colorful fireworks that took over the dimmed sky. It was the most beautiful thing that I ever saw.
Taehyung smiled at me, happy to see me enjoying this for the first time. His eyes skimmed around the village's night sky, taking a quick glance at everyone who came to support their family.
He then smiled and gave a quick wave to the kids cheering on their balcony. They squealed, making him chuckle. His eyes traveled higher up the mud building, until a silhouette caught his attention.
Two boys sat on the roof of the muddy house. The Prince, knew they were scrounges, the moment he saw them. Their torn clothes and scraped up faces gave it away. Taehyung looked closer at the man to the left as his lips parted. A light red scar ran down his eyelid, stopping right at his cheek.
"This is beautiful." I mumbled to Taehyung, but my smile faded as I turned to find him gone.
