"Watch your step princess, I
wouldn't want you to fall to your death."
I glanced down at the fallen tree, and carefully climbed over it. We've been walking for miles, which means I've had to listen to Jimin's snarky comments for hours now.
"Would you walk faster?"
He scoffed, glancing over his shoulder.
"Maybe if you'd un-tie me—"
"I'm not untying you."
He repeated for the fifth time.
I sighed, lowering my head as I watched my shoes hit the dirt. That was the only entertainment I had to offer myself. I furrowed my brows as he began tying the rope to a pole.
"What am I, a dog?"
"You'd like it if I called
you a bitch, wouldn't you?"
He scoffed.
"No. what I'd actually like
is a chance to use the bathroom.
I've been holding it in all day."
I sarcastically smiled.
Jimin lowered his eyes to my tied wrists, glancing back to the sketchy looking bar. He gave me a warning look, before pulling the rope away from my wrists.
"Hold on a second."
He grabbed my wrist, turning me around.
"I'll take you inside,
under one condition."
"Just one?"
I scoffed.
"Listen, smart ass."
He pulled me by my shirt.
"You wanna get tied up again?"
"Not really."
I quietly remarked.
"Then zip it."

"Are you sure you've checked everywhere?"
The king asked his eldest son.
"Yes, t—the soldiers and
I couldn't find her anywhere."
He pretended to speak with tears.
"How could this happen . . ."
My father ran his fingers through
his hair as my mother stood beside him.
"Don't worry, we'll get our little girl back."
She bit her lip, holding back her tears.
"Keep searching."
He suddenly ordered the soldiers standing.
"Namjoon, go get your
father a glass of water."
He silently nodded, making his way to the massive kitchen. Taehyung sat at the dining table, lowering the newspaper from his eyes.
"You sure do look sad."
Tae pushed his tongue into his cheek.
"I'm sorry?"
Namjoon crossed his arms.
"You heard me you coward."
Namjoon pushed the chair in front of him, reaching over to grab Taehyung by his collar.
"How dare you speak to me like that!"
"What?"
Taehyung raised his brow.
"You're not the king, therefore
you don't deserve my respect."
He harshly spat.
"Listen you son of a bit—"
"Namjoon!"
My mother stood at the door way.
"He was being disrespectfu—
"Do you really think it's the time to
fight right now? I can't believe you're doing
this while your little sister is lost out there!"
"How's that my fault!"
He pointed at his chest.
"If you weren't such a jackass,
maybe she wouldn't have left!"
Taehyung intervened.
"Will both of you quit blaming!"
My father stepped in, silencing the two.
"It's no one's fault."
"We're sorry father."
Namjoon bowed.
Taehyung glared at him as he did so. Why did he have to pretend around his father, and act like he didn't care when he's not around. Namjoon is just trying to appeal to my father, so that he'll become king faster. I don't think he realizes, that's not how things work around here.
"Sir."
A soldier interrupted.
"What is it?"
My father sighed.
"We brought a boy from the streets."
"Bring him in."
He ordered.
The soldiers came back in, holding the arms of a young looking boy. He looked scared, if anything. Not someone people would label a criminal. The king stepped forward, eyeing the chained boy.
"What's your name son?"
"J—Jeon Jungkook your highness."
He kept his head low.
"Jeon Jungkook, do you know
about the missing princess?"
He questioned the boy.
"N—no, I just found out
today your highness."
"How long have you been
living on those rugged streets?"
"All my life sir."
Jungkook lowly mumbled.
"Where are your parents?"
"Died when I was seven."
"Do you know who took my sister?"
Taehyung stepped forward.
"No, I swear on my life."
Jungkook looked up with pleasing eyes.
"Then you must know the people
there! You have to have an idea
of who might've taken her?"
"How do you know she was taken?"
Jungkook innocently asked.
"Are you implying my daughter ran away?"
The king fumed, and
Jungkook's eyes widened.
"N—no, not at all sir—
"You listen well—"
He grabbed Jungkook by the collar.
"I'm sending you to find my
daughter. You have three days.
Three days, you got that?"
"But sir—
"Find her, or else you'll be
the one paying the price."
Jungkook winced as he felt something pinch his skin. He looked down to see some sort of chip in his arm. It seemed to be a controlled shocking device .
"You have three days Jeon
Jungkook, don't let me down."

I walked behind Jimin, trying to think of ways to escape him, while he opened the pub door. The pub was nearly dark, barely lit by several lamp lights. The smell was of cigarette smoke, stale beer and body odour. I received a couple glowering looks as I was glued to Jimin's side. I tried not to glare back, avoiding any eye contact, but I did in-fact come to a realization. I was the only female in the entire pub.
"Where's Arlo."
Jimin muttered to the bar tender.
"I'll get him for you."
The man spoke with a hoarse tone.
I briefly closed my eyes, feeling unwanted attention from the men behind me. I could almost see them staring through the back of my head.
"Uh— Jimin."
I was too afraid to tap his shoulder.
He looked over his shoulder, glaring as he waited for words to spill from my mouth. I bit my lip, looking around the room and back at him.
"There's only a male restroom."
"Tough luck."
He scoffed.
"I-I'm serious, I need to go."
I shifted my weight
from one foot to the other.
"What am I supposed to
do, build one for you?"
"You can stand outside the
door, so no one goes inside."
I offered my idea.
"You're out of your fucking mind princess."
He shook his head.
"After all, you wouldn't want
me shouting the word help—
Jimin quickly covered my mouth, pushing me to an empty corner. He glanced over his shoulder, making sure no one heard me.
"Fine, I'll stand outside."
He harshly mumbled.
"Just keep your mouth shut."
I pursed my lips together, slowly walking away from him and into the bathroom door. I have to find a way out of here, before it's too late. I don't know why I though there might be a window in the bathroom, but there wasn't. I was helpless once again.
— I flushed the toilet, before turning the sink on till the warm water poured out. I can't believe my plan failed, and I'll have to go back out there with him. I dried my hands on my jeans before opening the heavy door.
"J—Jimin."
I glanced around the empty space.
I couldn't go back out there alone. I'd just be asking to get killed. Oddly enough, I needed Jimin to be with me, the person who kidnapped me in the first place.
"Jimin."
I quietly called out again,
walking out of the restroom.
I tried to look normal as I casually walked into the pub. I couldn't help but naturally look innocent as the princess. It was born with me; in my blood.
From the corner of me eyes, I could see two men sitting across each other, point at me while quietly whispering. I did a quick scan of the room, not seeing Jimin anywhere. I'm in so much trouble.
Wait a minute, this could actually be a good thing. If Jimin isn't around, I could just walk out of those doors and never have to look back. I smiled to myself as I began to walk towards the exit. My smile faded when a hand grabbed onto my wrist. It wasn't Jimin's hand. The man harshly spun me around.
"Where are you goin miss?"
He drunkenly spoke.
"Uh—I'm going to my home."
I tried to pull my arm away.
"You just got here."
The man gave a creepy smile.
"Please let go of me."
I begged, trying to push his hand.
"You can try all you want,
but you're not leaving here until
you give us what we want."
The man chuckled along with his friends.
"I'm not giving you anything."
I yelled as I narrowed my eyes.
"That's not for you to decide."
His friends inched closer.
"Get her."
I felt two arms push me back, hovering over me as I laid flat on the table. One of them held my head down, covering my mouth so that I couldn't scream. The other men in the pub just sat in their seats, observing. They didn't help, nor did they care at all.
I let out a muffled scream, attempting to kick one of them where it hurts. He grabbed onto my legs, holding me from kicking. Escaping one man isn't too bad, but three is impossible.
My pupils grew as the sound of gunshots fired in our direction. The man holding onto me dropped to the floor, causing my body to slip as well. I covered my head as I laid still on the floor, breathing heavy.
I screamed as a hand yanked at my arm, forcing me to stand. My back was pressed against the mans chest as he pointed his gun at the other men. His scent was familiar, like someone I kn—
I suddenly glanced down at his hand, widening my eyes as I saw the same ring that was on Jimin's middle finger. It was him— I wasn't being killed, I was being saved.
"Who else touched you?"
He yelled, making me flinch.
"P—please don't kill anyone else."
I almost sobbed, looking at the
bleeding body beneath me.
In all my life at the palace, I've never witnessed anyone being killed. I guess they like to keep things like that away from the princess. They wanted to keep me away from the harsh reality of this world.
"I said, who the fuck touched you?"
He tightened his grip on my arm.
I roughly bit down on my lips, quietly whimpering as I looked at the man who wasn't shot yet. He had so much fear in his eyes, that it pained me. I wouldn't wish death on anyone, even the ones that do wrong.
Jimin lifted the gun without hesitation, and shot the man in the chest. I covered my mouth with my trembling hand, silently crying out.
"N—no!"
I sobbed as he pulled me outside.
"Let go of me!"
I screamed, letting my tears spill out.
"He could've raped you—
you fucking selfish little bitch!"
His hand struck my face, leaving a stinging
red welt directly below my right eye.
I clutched my face, running my finger over the bump beneath my eye. My eyes began to water. I couldn't do anything but let the tears fall. I couldn't look at him, instead shutting my eyes tightly.
I didn't flinch when I felt him tie the rope around my wrists. I was too deep in my emotions and thoughts to be thinking like a strong woman should. I was weak as of right now, struggling to take a breath.
I wish I could hug my parents one last time, and tell them that I love them. If only I could see my two brother's smile and laughing. This was my fault, and I was to blame. I left when my father told me not to. I risked my own life, just to see a stupid parade.
I'm sorry.
