"How does it feel." One of the village girls fanned herself as she stood beside Taehyung. "You're the next in line to be king, aren't you?"

"Do you need a wife?" Another girl tugged at his arm. "Because i think I'd be a great queen."

"Ladies." Taehyung gently pushed them back. "I'm not looking to get married anytime soon."

The girls widened their eyes, pouting after he told them nothing but the truth. I rolled my eyes after they walked away, leaving Taehyung all flustered.

This was the first week of Namjoon as king, and so far, he hasn't done anything too stupid. My father and mother still live in the kingdom, but they can not give him orders anymore, which I find dumb.

"You've got all the ladies around you." I chuckled as I laid my arm on my younger brothers shoulder.

"Don't be silly." Taehyung shook his head. "You'll he queen before I'll ever make it to the throne."

"I'm not looking for love anymore." I shrugged my shoulders, and turned to pick up the water pot.

"Don't lose hope Alana." He softly hummed. "Not all men are like that, I promise."

"I know." I sighed. "The one I'm thinking of, is." I mumbled underneath my breath.

"Princess Alana." The maid called.

"Y-Yes." I nearly stumbled as I rushed to her with the pot in my hands.

"You haven't been socializing instead of doing your chores, have you?" She playfully raised her brow.

"No, of course not." I beamed a nervous smile, and slipped around the corner.

"Fill those pots with water!" She yelled out as I raced through the forest, giggling like a fool.

I was finally trusted back into the villages without supervision. It took them a while to trust me, but that's understandable. I did sneak out of my room and get myself into all sorts of trouble. I carried a heavy pot over my shoulders, using both my arms.

A smile appeared on my face as the sound of water came closer to where I stood. The waterfall's really beautiful around the spring time, warm enough to swim in too. I set the water pot down, not focused about filling it up, but about feeling the water fall against my skin. The small circle of water wasn't deep at all. It was like the shore at a beach. I was able to sit, and have the water come above, just to where my belly button was. I laid myself into the water, letting out a deep sigh of relief, doing so.

"I'd leave if I were you princess."

The familiar voice startled me, bringing electricity into my slowly beating heart. I turned around and brought my hands to my body, since the only thing that I wore was a white tank top, that's most likely  see through now. Seeing him was like being face to face with someone that you once loved, but in my case, it was someone I despised.

"Stay back." I ordered, although we both knew he wasn't going to listen to me.

"I'm not here to take you." Jimin raised his hands in his defense. "I'm not interested in being apart of a murder crime, especially when it's the daughter of the king."

"My father isn't the king anymore." I remarked.

"I heard." He slowly nodded. "You know, after the things you told me about your brother, I'm really surprised you haven't done anything to stop him."

"There's nothing I can do." I crossed my arms.

"Sure there isn't." Jimin raised his brows before pulling the shirt off his head.

I gulped, moving back into the low water. "St

"This is the only source of water we have." Jimin seemed unamused as he spoke. "Why don't you shower in your fancy palace, and leave the dirt filled waterfalls for the poor guys. Or is that off limits too?"

"How dare you act like I'm responsible for the way you were raised." I hissed at him.

"What do you do for your people princess?"

"Alana."

A smirk appeared on his lips as he threw his shirt to the ground, letting the dirt cover it. "Listen Alana, I'm not going anywhere."

"The last thing I would do if I were you, is step near me." I warned him. "I can blow this horn that will signal the castle when I'm in trouble."

"I didn't need to know that prin—Alana." Jimin raised his brows when I glared at him. "I wasn't planning on hurting you, that's why I let you go, darling."

"How could you look me in the eye, after what you did?" I tried to not let my lips tremble, but I felt a tear slipping down my cheek.

"What happened to the strong princess that was threatening me two seconds ago?" He scoffed.

"I'm not always going to be strong." I tried to hold it in, but it came out as sort of a sob. "You hurt me you asshole, what do you not understand?"

"You want me to feel the same pain?" He stepped into the water, standing closer to me. "Here, it's yours, so do what you want with it."

I looked down at the knife he placed in my hand, glancing back at him. "I don't care what you did, never in my life, would I ever treat someone the same way you treated me." I shoved the knife at Jimin's chest, and glared into his darkened eyes.

"I hate you so much." I slowly shook my head as I stared directly at him. "But as much as I do, you need help."

"I need a lot more than help, Princess." Jimin harshly but his bottom lip, unbothered by this.

"I want to get you help Jimin." I gathered the courage to grab both his shoulders.

He slowly glanced down to my hands, but I kept them still. "I wouldn't get too comfortable, what makes you think I couldn't hurt you again?"

"That." I pointed to him. "Because if you wanted to hurt me again, you would've done it by now.

"You're smart Alana." Jimin licked his lips. "I'm surprised you didn't make it out, before I set you free."

"I'm not strong." I admitted.

"I can see that." His hand grabbed mine, but this time gently. "But after all the torture I put you in, you're still alive, so it must mean you're strong."

I gulped, quickly jerking my scarred hand back.

"I want you to teach me."

Jimin cocked his head to the side, as his lips formed a straight line. "Princess, what's gotten into you?"

It seemed as though everyone noticed my strange behavior, but me. Jimin didn't understand why I wasn't scared, like I should've been. He expected something different than what I've shown, which made everything much more complicated.

"I want you to teach me to defend myself." I repeated again, standing stronger than before.

"You're out of your mind." Jimin shook his head, knowing something's off. "You can't seriously be asking the man who kidnapped you for more?"

"Fine." I shouted as my eyes reddened. "I'll just live the rest of my life in fear!" I walked past him when his hand caught onto my wrist.

I nervously glanced up at Jimin, waiting for him to say something, but he just glared down at me, like he's mad at me for forcing him to make a decision.

"Be here tomorrow, at sunrise." He coldly spoke, before letting go of my reddened wrist.
