Far from a distant home,
There came a nomadic alien,
To the alluring & colorful planet,
Called Earth.

Impressed by its beauty,
He decided to stay there forever,
He wondered how people lived in unity,
Despite the differences whatever.

Just like the colors of a rainbow,
They blended together with a glow,
They were all diverse and unique,
With many great religions and beliefs.

He became a Hindu,
They asked his caste;

He became a Muslim,
They asked his sect;

He became a Christian,
They asked if he was Catholic;

He finally became an atheist,
Then they asked his status.

It's the same blood which flows in one,
It's the same blood which flows in the other,
None of them seemed to bother,
That Earth is their kind mother.

People are not united in diversity,
They're separated by an evil adversity.
He wondered what keeps them apart,
When they live so much near?

With these experiences, he then learnt,
That their thoughts are blunt,
On the Earth, a rainbow is formed by different colors,
Rather than different colors united to become so.

'I should leave', he thought;
Revving up his space train,
He fled away to his planet,
Never to come back again.
