Hello! It's certainly been a while, and I've left so many people hanging, but I just wanted to announce that this story will not be continuing.

I've been thinking a lot, perhaps too much, about how I could continue this and other stories I've basically left to rot, but ultimately I've decided that it's best I don't continue it at all. 

Unfortunately, I've decided to step away from writing fanfiction and instead focus on writing original work and hoping to get that published one day. That's my dream, and I think it's time for me to really get serious about it. Not to mention that there's so much stigma and negative connotations surrounding fan culture/fanfiction lately and most of the time it feels like I've been working so hard on updates for my other books, hours of work, only for it to go practically unnoticed. That's been pretty discouraging, but I get it, it's just time for me to move on.

Now, for this story specifically, I never really knew where I was going with it.

Truth be told, I only started this story because someone else in this community had asked me to write a few fight scenes for them, and I didn't want people to come to my profile and find nothing that related to the fandom. Which, thinking back, is actually pretty stupid of me, because that means I had basically set this book up to fail from the get go by giving it no direction or meaning. This book was never a passion project, I don't recall a time I was excitedly writing chapters or pre-planning plot details. It was just another project I wanted to finish so my profile didn't look like a graveyard of works in progress. It became a chore, and eventually, I just left it here to be as it is. No changes, just an endless amount of comments begging for an update that I couldn't promise any of you.

I feel like I've led  you on, in a weird way, with how long you've had to wait, and this book has gotten so much exposure and for that I'm very thankful. I'm just some random, mediocre wattpad author, but you've all said such nice things.

Normally, I wouldn't write a little note here, but seeing as I'm transitioning away from writing fanfiction all together, I thought it might be best. Just to give closure to those who patiently waited for an update.

However, I don't want anyone else to continue this story; I may not know where it could have gone, but I can kind of respect that it at least ended in a place where it could act as an open ending, that brings me peace. You can imagine whatever ending you want for this book, but please don't publish it anywhere, this sounds silly, but I really just want this book to stay here, discontinued. 

Personally, I don't see discontinued as 'goodbye', I think of it more like saying 'see you later', because I can't judge if I won't ever want to come back to it, but as of right now, this story means nothing to me, but who knows what the future holds.

I'm sorry to those who had been patiently waiting, I feel like I've let you down.

I wish I could have given you what you all wanted, but I couldn't.
