Due to the little 'incident' Jack had, he rushed off to cake care of his problem in the bathroom, awkwardly rushing off with a soft sugarcoated blush that dusted across his cheeks. And at the same time, Jane came down from upstairs, crossing her arms against her chest with a smirk.

"H-Hi Jane.." The girl said, locking eyes with Jane as she whirled her head around.

"Hi sweetcheeks." Jane said back, walking over to the couch and sitting down gracefully, small legs placed on top of one another. "How's the period?" Jane asked, an eyebrow lifting up.

"Annoying.." The girl huffed, blowing hot air into her cheeks, making them puff out.

Jane let out a amused chuckle as she twirled a strand of her black hair around her finger. The tiny girl couldn't help but stare as it swirled around and around, as if she was almost hypnotized, but snapped out of it, blinking and shaking her head slightly.

"J-Jane.. C-Can I ask you a q-question?" The girl mumbled out, fiddling with her fingers.

"Sure."

The girl let out a shaky sigh. "U-Um, w-why were you m-mean to me w-when we first met?"

A loud airy laugh came from Jane as she rested her chin on top of her palm. "I, was being mean?" Jane asked, raising an eyebrow. "Please, I could be even meaner if you honestly ticked me off."

The girl let out a quiet whimper, but stayed put. "W-What did you s-speak w-with J-Jwackie about..? S-Something about v-vows.."

Jane let out a sigh. "Well, I don't know if I should be telling you this, but.." She raised her fingers to pull slightly against her sweater, revealing her collarbones, and the girl had to squint her eyes to read the tiny font decorated in black ink that marked them.

3/17/14

"This right here, is called a vow. Slenderdaddy here and I made a deal, when I was first brought here seeking for refuge, he took me in, and in exchange for something else. I accepted the vow, and on that day, that year, those numbers were engraved onto my skin."

"Slender gave us a deal. If we gave him what he wanted, nothing will happen to us. But in this case, If Jackie here doesn't listen to the requirements of our vow like he's supposed to," The girl noticed Jane gritting her teeth and fist clenching. "something bad will happen."

The girls eyes widened. "W-What do you m-mean?"

"I don't know, hun." Jane lied, for the sake of the child's innocence.

Suddenly the girl thought back to when Jack hurt his leg when the girl merely pounced on it. The sudden thought made the girls tiny heart clench in fear and worry as her throat felt dry.

"That's all I can tell you right now." Jane said, sighing.

"Well, you could tell her more. Or should I?"

The girl's eyes flickered over to the new voice and feel herself shrunk as she spotted the familiar male with a white hoodie, his forever smiling face engraved in the girls memory. But Jane, who hadn't even turned around to face him, rolled her eyes by just the sound of his voice.

"Fuck off, Jeff."

"Ooh~ Using such a bad word in front of such a little kid." Jeff sighed, walking down the few steps of the stairs, walking over behind the couch of where Jane was sitting.

Jane muttered intolerant curse words underneath her breath as she stood up suddenly, sparing Jeff a glare as she walked up the stairs once again, leaving Jeff with the girl.

Which was probably a bad idea.

A few moments of silence as the male leaned his elbows against the soft cushion of the couch, making them sink in, his gaze never leaving the girls, smile growing wide and eyes never blinking as he watched the girl fidget uncomfortably, making his eyes shine in amusement.

"Well?" He spoke.

"H-Huh?" The girl said, lifting her head slightly up and Jeff could almost drool at the sight of the girl's large orbs that shone with absolute fear.

"Don't you want to know more about what Jane said?" Jeff asked, licking his lips.

Just as the girl was about to answer, she was cut off by a new voice interrupting her. One more light and hollow. Soft and yet teasing.

"Oh, Jeff. Don't tease her too much~

Jeff threw his hands up in the air in irritation. "Seriously, nobody allows me to have fun whatsoever.." He grumbled, turning his face away from the monochrome clown that was approaching them.

"He's always this grumpy." The clown turned around to wink at the girl, making her feel a bit more at ease.

"Say, where's Jackie?" The clown asked, raising an eyebrow.

"I-In the b-bathroom.." The girl mumbled, not daring to look directly into the clowns dark piercing stare.

"Great opportunity." The clown said, clapping his hands together. "So, when we first met." He started.

Already giving not so good flashbacks of the memory, the girl looked back down and shivered, which made the clown purse his lips as he noticed. He let out a sigh. "Look, I know we went off on a rough start, but I wanted to say that I was sorry."

"S'okay.." The girl mumbled.

The clown glanced at Jeff and raised an eyebrow. Jeff stared back at him and shrugged his shoulders with a confused expression. "What?"

"Well? Aren't you going to say sorry to the little girl as well?" The clown asked, crossing his arms.

Jeff snorted. "Why should I say sorry? I didn't do anything wr—"

The sudden bang of the bathroom door opening cut off Jeff's sentence, making the little girl flinch on the couch. Jack walked out, head low, nobody daring to say anything out loud.

"If you aren't going to say sorry, then leave." Jack growled.

Jeff let out a sharp sigh and crossed his arms, shooting the clown a glare as he walked past Jack, lightly shoving him by the shoulders before walking up the stairs and disappearing.

"No need to be so mean, EJ." The monochrome clown said quietly.

Jack sharply turned to the clown. "In case you've forgotten, she's mine, not your play-toy thing for all of you to mess around with."

The clown sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose. "Jack, I—"

"LJ. Leave him alone."

The clown turned to the sound of the noise, staring wide-eyed at Slender who had arms crossed against his chest, tendrils slightly twitching behind his back. LJ made no noise but nodded his head, keeping his gaze low, but stood in his place.

"EJ. Come forward to my office. We need to talk."

EJ hesitated for a moment before complying, sparing the little girl a tiny glance before disappearing behind the doors of Slender's office, the doors automatically shutting themselves.

The clown flickered his gaze up and turned around, meeting the girl's stare.

"Sit down." Slender ordered, brushing his fingers lightly against his desk, walking over to sit on his own comfy chair, crossing his legs one on top of another, watching silently as EJ awkwardly sat himself on the wooden chair.

"Are you aware of your mistakes from last nights killing streaks?" Slender asked, cocking his head to the side, pressing his fingers together.

"Yes," Jack said quietly, lowering his head. "I'm sorry for what happened. I promise it won't happen again."

"Jack, I would've forgiven you the moment you've said that, but this is such a huge mistake, one that I didn't expect from you."

"I'm disappointed." Slender said, sighing and shaking his head.

Jack's heart slightly clenched, those harsh words stabbing into his heart, from someone he always looked up to since he came here.

"You've lost your mask. And who knows? The police may have already started investigating. They have samples of your blood, Jack. And by far worse, you've injured yourself pretty badly."

Slender lifted the palm of his hand in front of his face, between himself and Jack, and a dim lighted purple flame lit up for a few moments, before a vision started appearing. Slender gestured the flame over to Jack, watching as the purple flame slowly drifted forward by itself in front of Jack's head, vanishing as it touched Jack's forehead.

Jack let out a soft gasp as he saw the vision inside his head.

Police, searching near the borders of the forest.

The vision flashed again, and he could see the dead body of one of the police officers he had killed that night, and a few more surrounding the body, inspecting it.

The vision slowly disappeared, left Jack trembling.

"You see how dangerous this is?" Slender muttered, resting his chin on top of his hands.

"B-But what about the forcefield?" Jack asked.

Slender sighed. "It can hold them off for a while, though you know my magic is getting weaker. Though I am immortal, I feed off of your killing streaks and others, Jack. The magic I use to create this forcefield around the mansion, is draining the other magic I have left."

"W-What are you saying?"

"The police will find a way or another inside this mansion, Jack. And it's almost been a week, Jack. Do you still not understand what you and that little girl's connection is?"

Jack kept quiet and let out a tiny sigh, shaking his head, making Slender made a noise of disapproval.

"It's still dangerous out there. And that little girl may know our secrets. She's still a little kid, Jack. She's naive and innocent, She's the gateway to the police, from the outside world to the inside of our mansion."

Jack glanced up. "So you're saying we should keep her here?"

"Partially correct." Slender corrected. "You have to keep her caged in your room. I can't risk her escaping and blabbering all our secrets to the police."

Jack abruptly stood up from his seat. "But that's impossible!" He argued. "I know her, she won't escape, please trust me!"

Slender sighed, shaking his head. "I'm sorry, Jack. I still don't trust her. You and others may, but I don't. And this is my mansion you're living in. Comply to my rules." He hastily said.

At a lost for words, emotions clawing from his heart, Jack narrowed his eyes, glaring at Slender before turning around and stomping away from the office.

He didn't even spare a glance at the little girl who was playing patty cake with the monochrome on the couch.

Both the clown and the little girl stopped in the middle of their game, their eyes following Jack's movement as the little girl heard him curse under his breath, scratching his hair in frustration as he stomped up the stairs, disappearing.

The girl slowly turned her head back to the clown.

"U-Um, I'll go s-speak with him.." The girl muttered, standing up from the couch.

The clown bit his lip. "Are you sure? He doesn't seem in the best mood right now.."

"I-It's fine!" The girl chirped, smiling as she turned around and peeked from behind the wall, staring up at the staircase before taking a deep breath, climbing up the stairs. When she reached the door of Jack's, she placed an ear against the door, shuffling in different places to detect any sounds from inside.

Silence for a few moments, nothing, yet.

That is, until suddenly there was a loud smash coming from the inside, loud curse words that made the girl flinch, eyes widened as she let out a soft gasp, stepping back.

The sound of things smashing against the floor were more recognizably loud, making the girl worried as she bit her lip, cautiously turning the doorknob and slowly pushing the door open, it making a low creaking nose.

The girl's eyes slowly adjusted to the dim light before the lights from the outside of the main hall slowly illuminated the inside of the room. And the sight in front of the little girl made her gasp in horror and fear.

There stood Jack, on fours, around him were things on the floor, the pieces of glass shattered lay among the floor, books falling on top of one another, pages ripped out that were still floating in the air before falling down to the ground. The pillows shredded, cotton everywhere, the sheets and blankets were torn, and so were the curtains.

Jack sharply turned his head towards the sudden light, a loud growl emitting from his throat, eyes crossed, teeth bared, exposing his sharp teeth and drool, his hair messy, strands sticking out all over the place.

This was not the Jack the little girl knew.
This Jack scared her.

"J-Jwackie.." The girl mumbled, doe eyes wide as she slowly crept over to Jack, watching as Jack stood on his ground, still on all fours, ears twitching and growl growing louder. Until the girl was in front of Jack, a couple feet away from him, she kneeled down on her knees, maintaining eye contact with him.

The little girl slowly reached out a small limb to Jack, in which Jack stared at it, growls getting louder, making the girl shiver.

Suddenly Jack's hand darted forward, the sudden movement making the girl flinch as she shut her eyes, turning her head away, whimpering. The tight grip of Jack's hands on the tiny girl's wrist slowly softened, and the growling stopped.

"Oh my god.. Y/N.." The familiar voice spoke, breathless.

The little girl opened her eyes, not aware that tears were brimming to the edge, making her vision blurry, her bottom lip wobbly. She stared at Jack who was in front of her, eyes drooping with black gooey tar oozing out, shallow pants leaving his mouth.

"Y-You thought I was going to h-hit you?" Jack said, voice cracking into a whisper.

"N-N-No, I-I" The girl's stuttering worsened as she shook her head, words blocking in her throat, not wanting to come out.

"F-Fuck, I-I'm so sorry.. I-I'm so s-sorry, p-please.." Jack whispered, more of the tar trailing down his cheeks. "T-This is all my f-fault.."

Jack shuffled closer so that he could pull the little girl into his embrace, gripping her tightly into a hug, nuzzling his head against her shoulder, and he could feel the little girl's body shake, which made his heart ache in guilt.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm s-so so so sorry.." Jack mumbled over and over again, gripping the girl tighter.

The girl had finally calmed herself down, realizing that Jack was now the one vulnerable, body shaking uncontrollably as she felt the back of her shirt dampening with his black tears. The girl let out a tiny smile, rubbing her tiny fists against Jack's back, nuzzling her chin on top of his shoulder.

"I-It's okay.." She whispered, rubbing soothing circles on Jack's back, trying to calm him down.

"E-Everything's gonna be a-alright.."
