{{Chapter 18}}

Boscha stood there with an army behind her, making Luz and the other members tremble in fear as they watch the superior teens enter further into the room

Luz remained speechless. She managed to keep her posture up to protect Amity from the feared elite.

She slowly looked at the teen behind her, showing a forced weak smile. "Everything will be okay... Just let me handle this."

Amity moved her head in disagreement. "No! L-Luz..." She started, grabbing her friend's hand. "That's Boscha your facing! Oh, did you also forgotten that I'm also an elite! They'll surely take me away and-"

"No, Amity." Luz interrupted, facing back to the crowd. "It's your choice to back down now. But I'm not gonna let Boscha control you like this."

Luz finally stepped up into the stage as she met gazes with the original leader of the Dance club. Boscha smirked, placing both her hands to her waist

"Didn't you idiots hear me? I said I'm taking back "my" club." She repeated before looking at the scared teen behind the freshman

"And you, Amity Blight, I expected better from you." She began walking towards the stage. "Without me, you can't make your own decisions, and look where it brought you! Being in a broken team with the idiot who started all the trouble!"

"Not only that, you guys even recruited new members without my permission" She yelled out, sounding more angered than before.

"You're an embarrassment to the Dance Club and the Elite system."

The freshman gritted her teeth. "That's not true! Amity has been doing good, if not, better than you since you left! She can make her own goddam decisions without you!"

Boscha then shifted her gaze to Luz. "And you, stay in your lane, Noceda. Amity needs me, she's nothing without me!"

"You son of a-"

Amity held her back. "Luz, no!" She then hugged her from behind, hiding her face in embarrassment to all her fellow elites.

"Ha! What are you gonna do about it? Did you forget that you yourself are a temporary member of this club? I did promote you to be my third elite, but ever since I heard complaints from the other elites about the strange activity inside this room I knew you were planning something

All of Luz's team remained silent, unable to respond to Boscha's bashes. Yet their current leader was the one affected among all of them. Not only did she broke the Dance club, but she also ruined Amity's career as an elite

After a few seconds, Boscha still waited for a reply. She then faced Amity, meeting her gaze unexpectedly.

"Amity, I know you're better than this. You're an elite, you don't belong with those underdogs." She started as she reaches out a hand for her. "Come with me, be the elite that you're meant to be. The student that everyone loves!"

"No!"

Boscha's eyes widened at the response. "What did you just say to me?"

Amity finally gathered all her courage as she stepped in front of Luz to face Boscha and her fellow elites. Most of the other elites were disgusted by the teen's actions yet some may have liked the fact she's being rebellious

The elite then smiled at Luz, nodding at her before meeting Boscha's gaze once again. "This isn't your club any more, Boscha. I'm sick and tired of you telling me what to do!"

"Oh! not my club now, huh? And who are you to tell me that? You're only a second-standing elite next to me! The audacity of some people."

"Face it, Blight, you're nothing without me!"

"She is not!"Luz stepped beside Amity. "Without you, things have been pretty well with me and Amity being in control. Not like you, everybody feared and pretended to like you! Open up your eyes, Boscha, The whole campus hates you!"

"Nonsense, l-lies!" Boscha stuttered. But knowing that her reputation is in the line, she must act like a trained elite and put all her personal problems aside. She instead sighed and slicked her hair back. "Now, unlike you, I act and represent the elite system properly. Leave this place, all of you."

Luz sarcastically laughed. "You're not taking this club back, Boscha. This club requires 10 or more members, you stand alone."

"Oh, do I?" She smirked before snapping her finger

At the sound of the snap, several students rushed beside her. The two current elites standing in the dance club gasped as they realized the group defending Boscha

"Ugh, it's about time, Skara." The teen complained before snatching her drink from her assistant's hands.

"Sorry, Bestie, had trouble with a few students back in the hallway," Skara replied, looking at the ones being targeted afterward. "Ew, these losers are still here?"

Mattholomule chuckled. "Wait... Amity actually stayed? This is why she's nothing without her friend. Always making bad choices as usual."

"I swear to God I'll break your face you dumb-"

Amity quickly pulled her away once again. "L-Luz!"

The freshman pulled her hand away, facing Amity right in her eyes. "I'm just trying to protect you, they can't just talk crap about you like that!"

"And you can't just tell them that you're gonna beat them up! Look, Luz... I appreciate it but any further actions including violence will kick you out of this school!"

Luz sighed. "I'll rather get expelled than to see them insult and control you like this, Ams." She then cupped her cheek and gave her a weak smile. "Whatever happens, I'm not leaving you guys or this club yet."

"Luz... I-" Before the elite could even finish her sentence, Boscha interrupted by clearing her throat which made both their attention return to her

But what they both realized that the teen was suddenly more angered than before. "Was it because I comforted Amity?" Luz wondered, giving Boscha the same angered look

"That was sweet and all but it was also disgusting. Amity, for God's sake, stop showing weakness!"

Vinet suddenly stepped in "You don't even own her! Stop telling her what to do, you jerk!"

Boscha slicked her hair backward. "I see, this rebellious group fights against elites, huh? Unlike other students, they don't have the guts to even reply or speak up for themselves. I have never seen anything like this... But, I'm afraid I have to wrap things up now."

"I would like to ask you this the nicest way possible, newbie. Get the f*ck out of my club."

"Woah language!" a familiar voice shouted from the crowd.

All of their attention shifted to that direction as they watched two teens squeeze their way through the gathered students

"Ed... Em?" Amity arched an eyebrow. "What are you two doing?"

Emira giggled. "Did you forgot, mittens? We're elites in the illusion club."

The youngest sibling gasped, realizing the possibility that her siblings might have sided with the other elites. Against her family, she couldn't do anything but follow her older siblings advice

She managed to keep an angered look, controlling the fear she had for Boscha and her siblings. Luz on the other hand noticed her behavior, causing her to step forward Amity in case Edric and Emira might take her away

But something was bothering the freshman. "What if the twins reported their secret to the rest of the elite system, is that the reason why Boscha knew all of this?"

Luz stuttered and shook away her thoughts. She wanted to fix this, she wanted to spend more time with Amity and her crew. She was not going to give up so easily

Boscha crossed her arms to her chest. "Uhm, excuse me what are you two doing here?" The first standing elite asked the twins. "Can't you see I'm in the middle of kicking your sister and her stupid friends off my club?"

Edric smiled. "Boscha, is it? I believe we met." He started, circling the teen. "You're our sister's abusive friend, huh?"

"Excuse me?!"

Emira joined in, targeting Boscha. "Hey, I do remember you! You're the one who rejected us last year! You know, since you chose that freshman you liked instead of us."

The elite blushed, shifting her gaze towards the stage just to meet a girl's gaze. Once she realized that Willow was looking back at her, she immediately looked away and covered her face with the back of her hand

"Ugh! What do you idiots want? I only chose her and her small friend is because she had potential! And we needed extra members for the stage control and-"

"S-small?" Gus muttered. "Well, I hate her even more now"

The older teen stopped her. "Danm excuses, I say."He then faced the pack of angry elites behind him. "You even brought all of the elites with you, are you that scared?"

"N-No! What those losers are doing is against the rules and they should be -"

"Screw the rules!" Emira laughed. "I and Ed have been planning on going against this corrupted system for years! All the rules, power, fame, it's all wrong!"

She then turned around and looked at one unique teen standing on the stage. "And a freshman inspired us to speak out and end this system. Even a cute girl convinced me to be myself..."

Edric followed her sister's gaze. "You and your friends are not alone, Luz. We may be elites, but we know what's right and wrong. And I'm not kidding when I say that all of this is definitely evil!"

"And you guys should know it too." Edric continued after he faced the elites in front of them.

One of the elites in the crowd stood out. "You traitor, I knew those twins are trouble."

"How disrespectful can you be?"

"Going against a whole army of elites, you idiots aren't enough to stop us!"

"The elites system is the most effective way to discipline every student in Hexisde and you want to get rid of it? Shame on you and your club!"

The freshman couldn't watch any longer, she had to do something and fight what's right. "All of you are blinded by the power given by the elite title! Instead of leading your club to success, you abused its power by getting fame and attention!"

Boscha finally snapped. "Enough!" She shouted, making all of the students in the room stop talking.

"Are you guys hearing this? They're rebelling against us! We should kick them out of our system or- or expel them for disobeying the rules! Heck, they don't even have permission to take over the club! As the first standing elite, I demand an expulsion for all of them-"

"And as a teacher, I demand that you and you stupid Elite system back away from these kids!"

Everybody gasped at the voice, following its direction next, There they saw a teacher standing in front of the entrance. The other elites moved away to give the respected a clear way towards the stage.

Luz's eyes lit up as soon as the teacher stepped in front. "Ma'am Edalyn?! Whaa- what are you doing here?"

Edric and Emira laughed. "Being a part of the elite system, we knew all about their plan so we brought back up."

"That's right. I'm just trying to end this corrupted nonsense like you guys." She replied, messing with Boscha's hair to piss her off.

"H-hey, hey!" The teen backed away from her. "Isn't there a teacher's meeting right now, you old hag?"

Eda laughed. "Ha, kids these days. "Old hag", is that the best insult you have you "three-eyed bubblegum hair brat?" Woosh nailed it." She roasted her back, making the elites behind them yell "Ooo" repeatedly

"Ooo, she got you good, kid."

"S-sh- shut it! Everyone!" Boscha stuttered out of embarrassment

The teacher laughed, walking up the stage to join Luz and the others. grinning victoriously, she patted the freshman's shoulder and smiled at her

"Word's been spreading around that there was a rebellious club going against the elite system. I figured I'll find you, troublemakers, here since... well all of the chaos begins at this club, actually."

The student was still speechless. The fact that even a teacher agrees with their protest. She instead couldn't help but keep a wide irresistible smile and nod at everything she says.

"Haha, let me guess, you don't think teachers like me would give a crap about something like this? Well, listen up, kid. I'm sick of bratty teens telling me what to do and I'll join your little group."

"W-wait, really?! Thank y-you so much, Ma'am!" Luz manage to stammer out

"Hey, call me Eda, kid. I'm absolutely fine with it." The teacher lastly smiled before facing the crowd of elites in front of them.

"T-this is unbelievable! Tell the Emperor's club about the situation quick!"

Edalyn stomped her foot down. "Oh not so fast, kiddos. As a teacher, I'm powerful than all of you combined. So telling the highest ruler in your club won't do anything."

"Oh, and one more thing." She chuckled, grabbing something from her purse. There she took out a paper and showed it to all of the students.

"For now on, I, Edalyn Clawthorne will hold the Dance club and I hereby select these kids as the new and only members."
