Brendon's POV

"Ok boys, time for bed." My mother said opening the door. I was sitting on my floor with Ryan. He had a sleeping mat and I was planning on sleeping on my bed.

"Ok mom." I said blowing a kiss at her. It was pretty cold out tonight.

"Oh and do you boys mind if I turn of the heater and give you a few more blankets? Russel's complaining about the noise of the generator." She asked with her hand on my door knob.

"Oh um, Ryan do you mind?" I asked he shook his head.

"Ok thanks. Ok goodnight." She said again leaving and she didn't close my door!

"Mom?" No response "MOM!" I yelled. Still no response. I crossed my arms.

"Haha, I'll close the door." Ryan said getting up from his bed.

"No, no it's fine she's coming back anyways." I said, Ryan walked back to his bed.

Time jump to 11:56pm

"Wanna play truth or -" Ryan tried to say but started coughing like crazy out of nowhere.

"Oh my god are you ok?" I asked but started laughing before I could finish because Ryan looked really cute while he was coughing.

"Yeah I'm fine." Ryan said finishing his coughing fit. "I was saying wanna play truth or dare?" He finished.

"Um, actually no thanks. I um-"

"What's wrong with it?" Ryan asked. If I was going to tell him the truth I would have to say: I don't play truth or dare because one time in middle school I was dared to kiss me best friend at the time and I did. And now he hates me. So yeah but instead of saying that I just said:

"Oh uh I just don't really like it." I said blushing.

"Really, why don't you want to?" He asked again.

"I already told you! I just don't like it!" I said snapping back at him. His face fell, I didn't mean to snap at him. "I'm sorry," I said looking down.

"I'm sorry too." Ryan said

"Uh, I'm tried." I said stretching and yawning

"Oh um ok." Ryan said blushing and pulling a blanket up to his shoulders.

"I thought you said you didn't like blankets?" I said smiling and slightly giggling.

"Oh uhh, it's cold out." Ryan said blushing.

"Ok," I said climbing into my bed

"Wait your going to sleep?" Ryan said slamming his hand on my bed.

"Yeah, sorry is that lame?" I said grinning and giggling.

"Sorta," Ryan said taking his hand off my bed

"Well I'm tried." I said crossing my arms and slipping my feet under the first blanket on my bed

"Uggghhh that's lame!" Ryan whined

Neither me nor Ryan where asleep but the room was quite. I don't know why I didn't just say something, but I didn't.

"Night Bren," Ryan all of a sudden

"Oh um night Ry," I said turning away from my wall to face Ryan's direction. I saw him smile in the dark. "Night Ry," I whispered to myself
