4| Sunset Heights

I nod in understanding.

"Thanks..." I say.

Then he gave me my katana.

"To protect yourself in case anyone tries to hurt ya. You'll never know that there can be some really bad people out there who would even want to hurt an innocent, young man such as yourself.

It's also to remember me if there are times you miss me when you're away." He explained as he pulled out a necklace with a beautiful ice blue crystal charm before putting it on me.

I smiled, seeing the necklace, before giving Takuro-sensei a hug.

"Thank you and for the necklace, sensei. I'll be sure to remember all the times you given me advice and shared some words of wisdom." I said after he hugged me back before we parted.

"Heh...You're already starting to sound like me when I was your age. You truly are becoming a young man." He says. "Also, there was one more thing I forgot to tell you..."

"What?"

"You've mastered all the techniques of what I taught you..."

"How and when?" I asked.

"When we were at Luminous Forest." Sensei replied, simply. "That's why I gave you that necklace."

I grew surprised after he said that.

"Wow. I did not know that..." I say before smiling.

"Well, now you do. When you leave, head on over to Sunset Heights. You might reclaim some memories over there while you find a place to stay so you can get yourself some food to eat and plenty of rest."

"Okay! I'll head on over there. I'll stop by and visit you every once in a while." I replied, once I had everything packed up.

"Alrighty, then. Good luck and stay safe." Sensei says.

"I will!" I said once I headed out of the bedroom door before waving him goodbye and leaving.

Once I left, I sat down on a rock and sighed a little to rest for a moment before looking at the very location that Sensei recommended that I should head over to.

Sunset Heights.

That place does sound interesting and familiar.

I'm definitely gonna check that place out.

Then I got back up and started heading my way.

-Hours Later-

Once I arrived, I immediately grew fascinated by its lack of beauty as a warm, gentle breeze was blown in my face.

It felt so calm, comfortable, and very relaxing when I headed in.

It even felt quiet.

"This feels familiar...Have I been here before?" I asked myself as I was walking down the streets while looking around.

"Hello there, young lad! Would you perhaps be interested in trying our new pastries?" A rabbit mobian says as I turned to look at him, seeing that he's a pastry chef.

"Sure..." I replied after remembering that I've hadn't eaten anything since I left to head on over here.

Until, I realized something.

"...But...I don't think I have any money to pay for that." I mentioned as I sweat dropped a little.

Then the rabbit chuckled a little.

"Don't worry. These pastries are for free and are only small samples." He says. "Take as many as you like!"

"Wow! Thanks!" I replied before taking two or three of one of the pastries that I felt like that I probably must've seen before.

"Anytime!" The rabbit says.

As I was about to walk away, the rabbit suddenly tilted his head to the side a bit, looking a bit confused while he seemed to be observing me.

"By the way, what's your name? Because I have a strong feeling that we might've met each other before, only you were younger..." He asks.

"My name's Ryobo." I answered as I looked at him.

"Ah! I knew you looked familiar! Please, come in..." The rabbit says before leading me in the pastry shop.

However, I felt really uncertain.
