(Warning: slight angst from mean comments!)

For a split second I thought he told me to let go of his hand but when he tugged me into the store his hand still in mine I knew he hadn't.

I blushed as I realized I was actually holding hands with a boy. If only every day could be like this, then I'd never be lonely in fact I'd be happy all the time.

My eyes lit up with excitement as I skimmed over the cool games and items only nerds would like. I couldn't help it but like them after playing billions of them with my father.

"(Y/n) is this the one the store is advertising?" I looked up at Ryder and in his hand was the last copy of the game from what I could see.

"Yes and be quiet you could honestly get injured if they know you have that."

His eyes widened and he put the game to his side so no one could see it. If anyone tried to hurt him I would be up for a fight.

After checking out we walked to the ice cream shop, still holding hands which was making my heart melt faster then a scoop of vanilla on a summer day.

The ice cream shop smelled like cake and was a little cold but it's sweet decorations made it feel homey. Even the seats had cartoon desserts on them.

While Ryder ordered I took a video of the place for our fans and decided to answer a couple comments. Then I saw them...so so many of them...

Are you and Ryder dating?

Hey back off the man! He could do better!

Are you guys a couple?

Ugh what a skank stealing him away from us!

I swallowed harshly and turned off my phone so I wouldn't be able to read any more of them. Sure I got hate comments on the daily but this was a lot of people going on about someone I probably didn't even deserve to be around.

I put a fake smile on my face as he returned with two cups of what looked to be very tasty ice cream. He sat across from me and slid a cup over.

"Thank you." I said quietly and took a bite. It tasted amazing but even so I couldn't shake those messages out of my head. It's like they were eating at my soul and clawing at my heart with sharp nails.

"(Y/n) what's wrong? Do you not like it cause I can-"

"No it's not that I just...some people aren't saying very nice things about us Ryder. I wouldn't check cause I don't want you feeling down either but when you see them..." I looked away unable to finish my sentence as lump formed in my throat.

My eyes widened when I felt a hand on mine squeezing it in reassurance. "(Y/n) those comments...they hurt trust me I know..I delete videos every day because of them but what happened today...it has been so amazing. So much fun. Nothing that they say can ruin that cause they have no idea whats going on. They have seen what two sped up minutes of our day. That's not even close to enough to make a full opinion on something."

I bit my lip and nodded feeling the sudden urge to cry. He's so sweet to me...

I stood up and I could tell he thought I was going to leave but that wasn't the case...instead I leaned down giving him a big hug.

His face turned a light pink and I could feel his hands shaking slightly as he hugged me back. Even when I pulled away he was nervous.

"Was that to mu-" I was cut off when he suddenly pressed a small kiss on my cheek without warning. I could have died right then and there but for some reason I just stood their in complete shock.

"I'm h-happy we are together."
