I took a deep breath and entered Ryder's room cautiously just in case he had something I could knock over. I didn't want my first time being here to end with me doing something embarrassing.

As soon as I stepped in I looked around, to my surprise everything was incredibly neat and tidy. A smile spread across my face as I noticed his cat lounging on his bed without a care in the world.

"What do you think? I know it's not much, but hey it works for videos right?"

I pulled myself out of my thoughts and looked up at the tall boy next to me who, might I say had the most adorably shy smile I had ever seen.

His dark brown hair falling perfectly over his eyes and his caramel colored skin reflecting the light. My heart skipped a beat as he itched the back of his neck looking a little worried.

"It's really nice. Much cleaner than mine." I said laughing quietly to cover up my rapid heart rate. I wasn't lying about my room though, my siblings were constantly causing chaos in there but he never minded and I appreciated that.

He chuckled and set up his phone so it would catch both of us on camera. I had pretty much forgotten we were supposed to make a video together. People had been asking us for months now so we figured we'd give it a shot.

"Hey (y/n) do you think...ya know people will see us as a couple? I mean your a pretty girl and I don't want anyone to think your taken by someone like me."

I raised a eye brow at him and stepped closer so we weren't as far apart, though it didn't do much for our height difference.

"Am not. What do you mean someone like you? I'd be lucky to have a handsome boy like you as a boyfriend." I blushed a bright red and looked away completely shocked I had said that so easily.

"You...think I'm handsome?"

I covered my face with my hands in embarrassment. Could I just disappear now? I have totally messed this up haven't I?

"It's okay...I mean I did call you pretty so it's only fair heh. R-ready to make the video?"

I nodded thankful he hadn't made things as awkward as they could have been. I still couldn't look him in the eyes though, not even during the video.

We filmed for half a hour or so and when we were done our phones buzzed with thousands of notifications from fans going insane.

It was pretty crazy to think that the two famous 14 year old tik tokers were in the same video. I still didn't understand how I'd gotten so popular but I wasn't gonna stop now.

"(Y/n)...do you maybe wanna... eat some ice cream together? I got cookie dough..."

"Did someone say cookie dough! I'm in!" I watched as he jumped slightly from my sudden out burst. I was going to apologise but was interrupted by him laughing. It was nice to hear he was happy.

"You know I'm really glad you came over..." He said after his laughing fit had ended. If you said my face was red before you should have seen it then.

"I am too...heh let's go eat."

He nodded and lead me through his house, every now and then stopping to explain a picture or show me something about his family. There was so much I didn't know about him. I hoped the videos wouldn't be the only time we talked.

When we reached the kitchen I sat down at what looked like bar stool as he rummaged through the freezer.

My stomach growled softly as he pulled out the ice cream. He didn't even grab bowls just two spoons. Was he expecting us to share?

"Ryder I-"

"Don't worry imma scoop some onto the lid for me. I just don't want to leave dishes for my mom."

"Wow...your so considerate. I don't know how anyone could say something mean to you... there's nothing to be mean about." I said finding my spoon much more interesting all of a sudden.

"Well haters hate...just what they do and I'm not perfect. I know that...thank you though...could I ask you something that's probably dumb? Say no if your uncomfortable I promise it won't hurt my feelings. We haven't known each other long but it would just be really nice to...well."

My curiosity filled eyes met his hazel brown ones and for a second I thought time had stopped. We were caught in a never ending moment.

"Want to go on a date?"
