Summer: Realizing Her Feelings

Y/N was making his way back to Vale or more specifically Beacon Academy. A year has pass since he met Summer.

He thought back to last year as he remembers the first call they had when he was going back to Atlas.

Flashback a year prior

Summer: (call) I can't believe you're going back to Atlas.

Y/N: (call) It was temporary. Hey, so do you remember my aunt?

Summer: Of course I do. How can I possibly forget her? Especially when I first met her.

Y/N: Well she embarrassed me as usual. She told my cousins how I met a beautiful girl and so on. I don't know how but she somehow got a picture of us.

Summer: When did she do this?

Y/N: While I was trying one of your cookies. It didn't help how my family acted to it like I thought they would.

Summer: So how did they act?

Y/N: The ones my age said and how that girl looks like she is up my alley. That and it was about time I found someone.

Summer: As a friend?

Y/N: Then the elder of my family were like I am so glad you found someone despite trying to tell them I barley met you.

Summer: Well it wasn't as bad for me. Yeah my teammates only do stuff like that when it's in my expense.

Y/N: And Qrow?

Summer: Well when I saw him layer on he just said how I looked too happy. I think he might've suspected something.

Y/N: Is being too happy even a thing?

Summer: I don't know but Qrow always says two things in times like these.

Y/N: I gotta hear this.

Summer: "Never trust someone who is too happy. They're hiding something." That and how there's something wrong with those who are able to dance sober.

Y/N: Huh.

Summer: Oh no.

Y/N: What?

Summer: I have to go. Bye, and I miss seeing you already.

Y/N: I'll visit you in person one of these days.

Summer: And I'll kick your butt in bowling again.

Y/N: Yeah no. I still can't understand how I got negative numbers.

Summer: Bye Y/N. Talk to you later.

Y/N: Bye Summer.

Flashback ends

Y/N was excited of seeing Summer again and this time not temporary. Though he didn't tell her in the last scroll call as he wanted it to be a surprise. That the there is how he could say that during all that time he kinda developed a sort of crush on Summer.

Summer was going up the elevator as she got a message from Ozpin about a new student in need of help. Though this only reminded her
of Y/N and she missed him. It didn't help that he wasn't acting the same.

Summer: (thoughts) I wonder why Y/N has been acting odd lately. He really vague when I asked him what was he up to lately. Then and how he's been ending the calls early as if he's something. Is he not interested no more?

Summers thoughts were interrupted with the elevator's doors opened and Ozpin speaking.

Ozpin: Ah Summer. You may be wondering why I'm in need of your aid.

Summer: Because of my cheerful self?

Ozpin: You are right on that but I asked the student if they knew anyone here. They only had one name and that was you.

Summer: Who is it?

Ozpin: They requested that I would not say their name. I imagine that it's a surprise.

Summer: Huh, so are they in the courtyard?

Ozpin: (checks time) They should be arriving about now.

Summer bolted back to the elevator. She was too curious on who it was. There was a single thought in her mind that maybe, just maybe it can even be Y/N.

Arriving at the courtyard she saw one student who looked to be new. She did not recognized who it was until she got closer.

Summer: Y/N?!

Y/N: (turns around) Who said my name?

Summer tackles Y/N into a hug. Sprawled on the ground the only thing Y/N could do how was hug her in return.

Summer: Why are you here?!

Y/N: You forget your Tupperware so I flew from Atlas to get it from my aunt to return it.

Summer: Really?

Y/N: No. Actually I'm transferring here. Did you not get Ozpin's message?

Summer: Right. I may have kinda forgot in my excitement.

Y/N: I miss you. Really I do but people are watching.

In Summer's excitement she forgot that the two were still on the ground as she did tackle Y/N into a hug. She quickly got up.

Summer: Anyways we can catch up while I take you on a tour. So this is the courtyard.

Y/N: Who would of thought?

Summer: Hey! I have to ask. Besides didn't you basically leave everything behind?

Y/N: I'll talk while you show me around.

With that the Summer's tour officially started and the first stop was the cafeteria. As the two were walking she said stuff until they made it to the spot.

Summer: So this is the cafeteria.

Y/N: Interesting architecture.

Summer: Sooo about earlier?

Y/N: Let's continue and I'll talk.

Summer: Okay.

Y/N: My family were certainly surprised.

Summer: Were they mad?

Y/N: A tad bit but my father said that I am a man now. Meaning that I would have to make my own decisions. This also means that I live with the possible consequences.

Summer: Wow. My parents were never like that.

Y/N: They have my interest in heart. Besides they're from Atlas so what do you expect.

After that the tour moved on forward with the two having a good time like that one day they were able to meet and all the calls they had.

Summer: So that's the tour and this is your room number.

Y/N: I enjoyed the two hour tour even though it definitely went off task.

Summer: Yeah... well bye. See you tomorrow Y/N.

Y/N: If that is the case you're going to have to drop by as I never got your room number.

Summer: Okay.

Y/N: See you later.

Making it back to her team's room and closing the door behind her she stared dreamingly to the ceiling while not noticing her team as they watch it happen.

Raven: Why were you gone for so long?

Tai: Why are you more happy than usual?

Qrow: Yeah, too happy in fact. You're hiding something.

Summer: Remember Y/N?

Tai: The man who saved you?

Qrow: Your Prince Charming?

Summer: What?! No, I mean Y/N saved me but that's not it.

Raven: The person who managed to make me a messenger.

Summer: Well he's back! And this time he's here to stay!

Qrow: So he transfer or somethin?

Summer: Yes.

Tai: Well can't wait to meet the guy. I mean you were going on and on about him.

Summer: No I wasn't.

Raven: Although it can be done the fact you actually stayed in touch with Y/N for year is saying something when you only met him for one day.

Tai: She's got a point alright.

Qrow: And I for one couldn't have said that better myself.

Raven: Of course you couldn't. You would've took a drink right in the middle of it.

Qrow: (drinks from flask) You can't prove it.

As Raven and Qrow were having their annual arguments Summer was checking her scroll.

Tai: Uhhh why are you checking your scroll a lot? I mean it will vibrate or ring.

Summer: In case Y/N might need my help.

Tai: Our point stands. Admit it.

Summer: Fine. I thought it was love at first sight like the stories I was read to as a child.

Qrow: Your what?

Summer: My stories.

Raven: Here some advice. You should make it official before anyone that tries to snag him.

Qrow: Really? He looks good?

Raven: Not my taste but I can see why some people may show interest in him. That and I remember him mentioning he is from Atlas.

Tai: Atlas huh. I heard they're suppose to be really civil. That and their attitudes.

Raven: As I was saying there may be female students that sees that as a plus.

Tai: Especially if he isn't uptight. Oh boy will our leader be in trouble alright.

Summer: Enough! I will tell him.

Qrow: Well you have our full support. Really I mean it.

Summer: Thank you.

Qrow: The only thing I find more suspicious than someone that's too happy is if they're too sad. Something is definitely up if that's it.

Summer: Well it's the weekend still so that's a plus, so Tai, Qrow I'm going to need you two to distract Y/N for awhile.

Raven: And me?

Summer: You'll help, really?!

Raven: Why not.

Summer: Since you met him already you'll go get him meet Tai and Qrow. When that's done that I'm also going to need your help mentally preparing.

Qrow: Hopefully Y/N is what you think he is or else this can all go downhill.

Summer: Qrow!

Qrow: What? You only met the guy once and only talked on him on your scroll. That and I only talked to the guy once.

Summer: No, I know Y/N.

Qrow: Good enough for me I guess.

Velvet: Realizing Her Feelings

Y/N for months have been holding out in his cell. Velvet was only limited to one visit per week and this day was one of them.

Velvet: Can you please talk to Ozpin?

Y/N: I don't know. This random voice keeps me company but obviously I prefer yours.

Random Voice: Can you please listen to the girl.

Y/N: But who will keep you company?

Random Voice: I don't enjoy this part of my job. You have been really morbid about some of your stories.

Velvet: Y/N please.

Y/N: Fine, I doubt that wizard would hold out any longer.

Random Voice: Finally. Ozpin will be with you momentarily.

Ozpin arrived later seeing Velvet in her usual spot. Y/N staring blankly at the ceiling above. Time has certainly took its toll on him even if he doesn't show it.

Ozpin: Hello Ms Scarlatina.

Velvet: Hi headmaster.

Ozpin: Reggie informed me on how you are ready to talk.

Y/N: Wait, that's his name?!

Reggie: You never asked me.

Y/N: Too much time passed. I figured that it would be awkward.

Reggie: You're in here for crimes and you're more worried about how awkward it is?

Y/N: Well you're the only person who I talk to besides Velvet.

Ozpin: Ahem. Anyways you'll be a student.

Y/N: Is that really a good idea?

Velvet: Y/N.

Ozpin: Yes I'm certain. I know what you did but I know what you didn't do on the faithful. You didn't cause harm anyone in that robbery intentionally even when you were attacked by security. That goes for my students as well.

Y/N: Well it would look bad.

Ozpin: I think there is more to it than that. Someone of your particular position usually goes a different path, a far darker one.

Y/N: Can't say I didn't do things.

Ozpin: Are you willing to accept my offer. It is choice as I am quite certain there are those in Atlas who would want to see The Trickster pay for his crimes.

Taking a quick glance at Velvet Y/N saw her pleading eyes to take the deal. He thought on how could he say no to that.

Y/N: Alright Ozpin you drive a hard bargain.

Ozpin: Great. Ms. Scarlatina Y/N will be put under your care. Meaning that he is placed on your team. Now if you two would excuse me I need to finalize your papers.

Y/N: You already knew my choice.

Ozpin: It was only a matter of time but you held out longer than I thought.

Y/N: What did you expect?

Ozpin: I expected resistance and you did just that. Though I will say at what cost? Now you may be wondering about your weapons. They are in the locker in the next room. Now as per tradition I must say welcome to Beacon. Now I must go now.

Ozpin unlocks Y/N's cell before he exited the room. There was a moment of silence as Y/N was not use to the freedom.

Y/N: Bye Reggie. It's been nice knowing ya.

Reggie: Bye. Velvet, can you make sure that he doesn't end up in here again?

Velvet: I'll try.

Grabbing his weapons the two began walking to their room.

Velvet: If you are on my team that means I should introduce you to them. You know it would be bad if you did it on your own.

Y/N: Was that fashionista on your team?

Velvet: You mean Coco? She is our leader.

Y/N: Great.

Velvet: It doesn't sound like you mean it.

Y/N: Just continue leading the way.

Arriving to the room all eyes were set on Y/N. Velvet tried to break the tension introducing him.

Velvet: This is Y/N, our new teammate.

Yatushi: I'm not one for violence but if you do anything.

Y/N: I get it. Believe me I do.

Yatushi: Good. I'm Yatushi.

Coco looked like she was about to add on to it but Y/N stopped her.

Y/N: Coco, before you even say anything the big guy made it clear.

Fox: Fox.

Y/N: You got to be kidding me.

Coco: Right. You are a fox while his name is Fox.

Fox: Sounds like you problem.

Yatushi: By the way he has no eyesight.

Y/N: So don't throw anything. Is he one of those people with disabilities that can take a joke or no?

Yatushi: Be warn his jokes are terrible.

Fox: How did the blind guy die? He was on a see food diet!

Y/N: Huh. Well as Velvet told you my name is Y/N or how they called me The Trickster.

Fox: Why The Trickster?

Y/N: I can create holograms. That and they can do damage or kill if necessary. Also you know the nature of foxes.

Coco: You won't be doing any killing. You got that?

Y/N: Yeah.

Coco: Great now we need to go get you some clothes and supplies. Now come along.

Fox: Good luck.

Y/N: Should I be worried?

Yatushi: Let me put it to you this way. I am normally Coco's bag carrier and even I have a hard time. Now if you excuse me I need to get your bed.

Coco: Y/N!

Y/N: I'm coming!

With the three all gone all there was left now Velvet and Fox. Velvet needed to tell one of her teammates something before she dared telling Coco.

Velvet: I think I like Y/N.

Fox: What?!

Velvet: Well do you remember how I've been
meeting him up a lot? You know change him for the better? Well it sorta happened on one of the days.

Fox: Didn't want to tell Coco first?

Velvet: I figured telling you two before her as you know what would happen.

Fox: Seems about right.
