Y/N: "Wait!"

You tried to run after him but the wind picked up throwing flames in front of you. You could only watch as the fire continued to eat away at the building.

You began to get worried, you might lose your only friend, that was until he burst through a secoundary stroy window holding someone close to his chest.

He rolled as he hit the ground, the person he was holding was a young girl in a white hoodie.

Patrick's POV

I landed on my back, the young girl I had carried was still terrified as tears rolled down her checks.

I got on my knees and slowly rocked her back and fourth trying to calm her down, She buried her head into my chest and continued to cry.

"It's going to be okay, your safe" I said softy.

As I held her I felt a serge of power of some kind wash over me, my body began giving off a golden glow which even surrounded the girl.

I felt warm, almost hot and the girl looked up as her eyes met mine.

Girl: "T-thank you" She said hugging me.

Pyrrah's POV

I was watching the Lonely Tunes (The old version is better) with Nora when the channel suddenly cut over to the news.

1st Reporter: "Breaking news, just moments ago a crazed pycho set fire to the Vale Orphanage"

Jaune: "Oh God that's Terrible!"

"How could someone do something like that?"

2nd Reporter: "That's right Tom, the fire had already engulfed the building when the Vale fire Department arrived on the scene. More heartbreaking news there was only one survivor"

Well that brightened my day, thanks fox news.

1st Reporter: "We go live to Amy"

The screen changed to a reporter interviewing an eye witness in front of what was left the orphanage. 

Random Woman: "I was walking by when I saw the building was on fire, I was horrified that someone would try and hurt those kids"

Amy: "And did you see the sole survivor?"

The woman pointed over to a boy with brown hair was holding a smaller girl with blue hair and stand next to him was a boy with f/c hair as the talked to firefighters in the background.

Random Woman: "That boy there actually ran into the building to save her"

Ren: "Wait, they almost look like the two boys from earlier"

Jaune: "I think they are!"

The camera zoomed and confirmed our suspicions, it was the two from this morning.

"In a way I'm glad they didn't come with us"

"How?" Nora asked raising an eyebrow.

Ren: "She's right, if they came here they probably wouldn't have been able to save the girl"

Jaune: "Make's sense"

Fire Chief: "What should we do about the girl?"

Firefighter: "I'm not sure, she doesn't have any other family" 

As the two were taking Patrick was sitting with the girl who was named Blue.

Blue: "Could you be my brother"

You and Patrick were both surprised by her question, would you even be able to take care of her? The two of you still didn't have any money and no place to stay.

Patrick: ".......Yes?"

It was more of a question then an answer but Blue didn't seem to care as she jumped in his arms.

Blue: "Thank you Thank you Thank you! I always wanted a brother"

Patrick: "No problem" he said patting her head.

"What should we do now?"

Patrick: "Probably find a place to stay for the night"

Fire Chief: "Leave that to me"

You three turned to look at the aging man "It warms my heart to see you take her under your wing, and since you need a place to stay you can use my spare bedroom in my house for the night"

"I don't know what to say, thank you"

Fire chief: "Don't mention it, the name's Rick by the way"
